“You’re having an affair with this character or
what?”

Trina’s heart began to pound.

What in the world?

“Why would you ask me something like that?”

“Just answer the question.”

“Answer what?

What are you talking about?”

This angered Reno.

“What the fuck you think I’m talking about?

You know what I’m talking about.

I’m talking about an affair, Tree!

I’m talking about are you fucking somebody
other than me?”

“No!” Trina said with equal anger.

“And you know it!”

“I know it?”

“Yeah, you know it!”

“And how am I supposed to just know this?”

“Because you know me.

And you know I wouldn’t do anything like that
to you.”

Reno stared at her.

This was Trina, what was he doing?

She wouldn’t lie to him.

She just wouldn’t.

“He brought me home,” Trina continued.

“Yeah, he brought me home.

But he wasn’t feeling on me or anything like
that, Reno.

We’re just friends.”

Reno nodded his head and squeezed her small
hand.

“Okay,” he said.

“So I don’t need to worry about this
character?”

“No, Reno, you don’t have to worry about Bob.”

Then she thought about it.

Her heart pounded.

“You had somebody following me, Reno?”

“No.

Of course not.

I know
how you hate that.”

“Then how did you know about Bob?”

It was Reno’s time to hesitate.

“I was in the mall and saw him.”

“You were in the mall?”

“That’s right.”

“Reno, you don’t go to malls.”

“I do go to malls.

What you think I was born with
a silver
foot in
my mouth and don’t know anything?”

“No, but. . .”

She decided to leave it alone.

Fran probably came back, and instead of staying out of Reno’s sight,
went straight to him.

And Reno, being
Reno, probably came to pick her up himself.

“Next time you’re stranded at the mall,” he said,
pointing his fork at her, “you call for a car.

You hear me, Tree?”

Trina nodded.

“You don’t take rides from Bob or Rob or nobody
else.

You call for a car or you call for
me.”

“I will, Reno.”

“And why the fuck was your cell phone off again?

I never heard of anything like that in my
life.

I tell you constantly to keep that
thing on, but you keep turning it off.”

Trina began to feel hot.

And nauseous.

“I forget to turn it back on.

It preserves the battery so I’ll turn it off
at night, and then I’ll forget to turn it back on.

It’s a bad habit.

The battery lasts longer when you keep the
phone turned off.

And I forget to turn
it back on.

I don’t even think about
it.

I’m no big time cell phone user
anyway, you know that.”

“Yeah, but when I call for you I have to be able to
reach you.

You know how I am.

You’re free to come and go as you please and
I know you like to do your own thing.

But, Tree, we can’t pretend that I don’t have enemies, because I
do.

I’m not into any
mob,
I’m no
got
damn mob boss, but good
luck trying to tell that to my enemies.

I need to know where you are at all times, Tree.

Especially after that
craziness in Georgia.”

Trina nodded her head, took another tiny bite of
food, but that one bite did it.

She
heaved as if she was about to regurgitate everything she’d just eaten, and
jumped from the table.

“Tree?”
Reno said with panic
in his voice.

He tossed his napkin on
the table and ran behind her.

“Tree, what’s wrong?” he was asking as he followed
her into the bathroom where she lifted the commode top and began to throw up
inside of it.

As she moved to sit on the marbled floor beside the
commode, Reno sat down on the floor himself and lifted her body onto his
lap.

Trina began violent regurgitations.

“Oh, Lord, it’s the food,” Reno said as she continued
to heave it all up.

“My cooking is
killing her.

Don’t let her die.

Oh, Lord, please don’t let her die!”

“Reno!” Trina yelled between throw-ups.

She was already miserable enough.

Reno looked at her.

“Yes, babe?”

“Knock it off!” she said, and then the violent
heaving began again.

Reno held her, and allowed her to do her thing, until
her body had no more to regurgitate.

She
then exhaled.

And
leaned against Reno.

She was so
glad to have him with her.

And Reno just held her.

Until she began to stir.

“I need to freshen up,” she said.

“And then I think I’ll take a long bath.”

Reno helped her up.

And while she brushed and gargled, he drew
her a
bath in their Jacuzzi tub.

Then she
undressed and Reno helped her naked body into the tub.

Reno’s plan had been to sit her in and give
her some privacy.

But seeing her
gorgeous brown body with all those wonderful curves made him rethink that
strategy.

And then he undressed himself
and got in the tub with her.

To Trina’s gratitude, since she really didn’t want to
be alone, he sat behind her.

She leaned
back against his muscular chest.

Reno
rubbed her soft black hair and helped to relax her.

After a moment of quietness, he looked down at
her.

“Feel better?” he asked her.

“Much,” she said.

“In fact all.”

Reno was relieved.

The thought of losing her terrified him.

And that was how it felt during the most violent of her retching.

It felt as if he was losing her.

And then the stress of seeing her in the mall
with that Bob character was just too much for him.

But he remained silent.

She said she wasn’t having an affair with
Bob, and that he was just a friend.

She
was a little too friendly with that particular friend in his view, but he
accepted what she said.

At least for now.

But any more Bob sightings or Bob mentions and he and
this Bob would be having a come to Jesus meeting, whether Trina liked it or
not.

He placed his arm around her flat stomach, as if he
was somehow staking his claim.

His hope
was that there would be no necessities for any meetings with Bob or any other
man who would deign to be a part of his wife’s life.

He’d already been through that kind of
insanity in Georgia.

He didn’t want to
have to go there with Bob.

But as Trina began to move around in the tub, he
forgot all about Bob and concentrated on his wife.

“What was that about, babe?” he asked her.

“I just got nauseous.

Probably because I didn’t eat much today.”

Reno looked at her.

“Why didn’t you eat much?

What had
you so busy today that you couldn’t eat much?”

“I just didn’t think about it, Reno.

It’s no big deal.”

“It is a big deal.

Seeing you throwing up like that scared me half to death.

It is a big deal.”

“Okay, it’s a big deal.

I’m sorry, I just.

It just . . . Oh, Reno, I feel better.

Let’s just leave it at that.”

She leaned against him, seeking his comfort, and he
gladly gave it to her.

He wrapped both
arms around her.

“You’re a pain in the ass,” he said, kissing her
hair, “but I love you.”

Trina smiled.

“I love you, too.”

Then he thought about Bob again.

And his brows knitted.

“You’ll never do that to me, Tree, would
you?”

Trina paused.

“Never do what, Reno?”

“Break my heart.

You’ll never do that to me.”

Trina’s own heart plunged.

What she’d allowed to happen might be a heart
break to Reno.

But she had to answer
him.

He’d go ballistic if she didn’t
answer him.

“I’ll never intentionally
hurt you, Ree, you know that.”

Reno nodded.

“Yeah,” he said, kissing her again, refusing to even think about
Bob.

“I know that.”

Trina was relieved.

She didn’t feel like going into it right now.

Although she knew she had to.

She snuggled even closer against him, causing his
dick to press into her butt crack, and Reno knew it was over.

And Trina knew it too.

Because she knew Reno.

And no way were they getting out of this tub
without him making it his business to get some.

He reached over and pressed the bath oil release
lever.

When the sweet oil drained down
onto his hand, he began to lather his wife in its sweet scent.

Trina moaned in relaxation as Reno
bathe
her.

He
rubbed her neck and arms.

When he got to
her sizeable breasts, he began to massage them with oil, smoothing his hand
over her mounds first and then circling his thumbs across her nipples.

Trina closed her eyes to the pleasurable
feelings his massage created.

Then he
moved down to her belly.

Trina could feel his dick began to jostle against her
as he rubbed across her belly and belly button.

That jostling feeling was usually the first sign that Reno’s appetite
was growing.

She relaxed to the feel of
Reno against her.

And when he reached
his hand down, and began to massage her clit, she groaned.

And when Reno then put his cock between her
legs and began to rub it against her clit, she knew as bad as she had felt
before her upchuck, he was about to make her feel just that good.

She moaned and opened her legs wider as his dick
rubbed her.

She loved the way it
stiffened as his arousal increased.

Soon
his fingers were down there, massaging her with bath oil, and then the bath
became beside the point as he slid his slippery fingers in and out of her.

“Oh, Tree,” he groaned into her hair, “you’ll never
know how much I long to feel you.

Oh,
Tree,” he added again as he leaned his head back and continued to finger-fuck
her.

Then he asked her if she was sure she felt better.

“Yes,” she said breathlessly.

She knew where this was headed.

“You’re able to take me then?”

Trina smiled.

Reno had a way of making her forget all her problems.

“Yes, baby, I’m able to take you.”

And then he took her.

He slid his fully aroused dick inside of her vagina, causing her to
shout
Oh!
as
soon as she felt it, and then he began to gyrate her.

Trina could feel every vein, every ridge,
every
muscle of Reno’s dick as it slowly moved in and
captured her.

And he took it slow and
gentle.

Moving in,
moving out, and then moving in deeper and almost out.

Until he was moving with
just the right stroke.

Until he found his rhythm.

And then he moaned, too.

Reno closed his eyes as he hit that spot that he was
looking for.

Trina always responded when
he hit that particular sweet spot inside of her.

Her muscles clenched around his cock and he
responded too, going down deeper inside of her so that she could feel his
fullness.

He wasn’t some limp-dick
Willie, and he wanted her to remember that.

In truth, he wanted to mark her.

He wanted to fuck her so hard that she wouldn’t even think about
straying away from him.

He wanted to
pound her ass into submission for what he saw her do at the mall.

But he couldn’t do that to Tree.

He, instead, just made sweet love to her.

He lifted her by the thighs and watched as he
moved her pliable body up and down on his long, thick, fully extended
penis.

She was saturating him now, and he
could see the sparkle of wetness as he moved her up and down on his rod.

And it felt so good to Reno.

Nobody did him better, and he’d had more than
his share of women to know what he was talking about.

This woman here, this brown bombshell here,
was head and shoulders above every woman from his past.

Because this was Trina.

This was the woman, above all other
women, that
he loved with all of his heart.
