“Nah. That’s why I came looking for you. We need to find us somebody to make more of this shit. I took it to a friend of mine to have him brew it, but he was a little freaked out by me and I had to…well, he was screaming a lot and it hurt my head. That’s something you should know, loud noises will set you off. And the feeling of being really fucking pissed all the time will make you kill for no reason. Not that that part bothers me much, but it’s hard to get anyone to help you when you’re raging on them all the time.”

“How much? And where did you get this?” The man sat down. His body was calming now, but he still had no control. “Think of holding one or the other. You’re making me sick. Just think of your body, the man inside of you, and hold him in your vision. That should do it.”

It worked, and the man was so pleased that he smiled. Master backed away from him. His teeth were not like a humans, but sharp and dirty. Blood seemed to be staining them, and he was sure that there were…things hanging from them that he didn’t want to know about.

“I got this shit at the lab. There’s a little more but not a whole lot. I might have destroyed a lot of it before I left. They sort of pissed me off. Did you know that they locked me in a fucking cage?” Master told him he’d been there too. It was where he’d been made as well. He then asked him for his name. “Oh yeah, I’m Randall Carver. That asshole, Ward, kept calling me Randy like I was some sort of pervert or something. I’m going to kill that fucker when I see him again.”

“Where is he now? And Dolin? Do you know where they might be? I have some things I’d like to go over with them too.” Randall told him what he knew. “So they just disappeared, did they? I’m betting they made it to the hidey hole that Dolin has. He thinks nobody knows about it, but I have my spies.”

Master had no such things, but he’d heard someone say that Dolin was setting up this place and bringing in a lot of supplies. He had no idea where he’d heard it or even when, but he knew that it had been recently. One of the men he’d contacted at the lab might have had it in his mind when Master had tried to find Dolin and had touched his mind.

They talked for another hour. Master had missed talking to someone that felt like he did. Others, most of the people in the lab and here, had thought that he was a monster. He was, but there was a difference in what he thought he was and what the public thought of him. By the time they were on their way back to the other realm, Master was devising his own plan to get more of the drug. And it didn’t include the fool that was with him.

He had to tread slowly, however. Randall wouldn’t say where the drugs were that he’d taken, nor would he tell him the dosage that he’d gotten. He did warn him that taking too much could really “fuck with your mind,” whatever the hell that meant. Master thought that something had already fucked with this person’s mind and he was going to have to kill him…and soon.

Things were starting to look up for Master, and soon he’d have Dolin and Ward where he wanted them. Then he’d take on Rembrandt and the Brotherhood.
