He took the bottle of Absolut into the bathroom with him, drinking as he urinated. He continued to drink from the bottle as he showered. He had to be feeling nicer-than-nice to fuck Felicia.

Nothing jiggled. Felicia’s buns-of-steel ass was like a statue’s. Still, hitting it
from the back wasn’t too bad. Shane worked up a rhythm and didn’t have to rely on an imaginary lap dance from Beyonce. He thought about Kapri and started working it as if Felicia had the softest ass and the best pussy in the world.

“Smack my ass,” Felicia ordered.

Shane was happy to oblige, but her hard ass hurt his hand. “Harder,” she insisted.

Shane applied more pressure. “Harder!” she screamed.

“Yo, I ain’t trying to break my wrist. How hard you want me to hit it?” he asked. Irritated, he dismounted her.

Looking frantic, Felicia jerked her head around. “What’s wrong?”

“It’s cool, ma. I ain’t goin’ nowhere. You can turn back around.” He pulled his belt out of the loops of his pants, returned to the bed, and commenced to whipping her hard ass.

Felicia screamed and then started emitting sounds of pleasure. “Oh yes, baby. You know how I like it; beat my ass. Beat it!”

Only too happy to fuck her up, Shane swung the belt until welts covered her backside.

Breathing hard, Felicia collapsed onto her stomach and began grinding against the mattress. Shane felt repelled. Not wanting to prolong the sickening session much longer, Shane decided to help the sick bitch out. He stuck his finger beneath her and fondled her clit. She came with a loud scream that could have easily awakened the dead.

He wiped her juices from his finger on the bedspread.

While Felicia was still caught up in the throes of orgasmic pleasure, Shane asked, “How much you kickin’ out, ma?”

“Look in my wallet, Shane,” she said, still panting and apparently unable to move.

Four fifty-dollar bills didn’t seem fair after all she’d put him through, so while she panted and sighed, he browsed through the hidden compartments of her wallet and extracted an additional two hundred dollars.

He dressed quickly, put the money in his pocket, and sat on the bed. Mimicking a voice that sounded concerned, he said, “You all right, ma?”

“Yeah, I’m fine.” She winced when she positioned herself into a seating
position. “That was fabulous, Shane. I really enjoyed it.” She got up and examined her rear end in the mirror on the outside of the bathroom door. Smiling approvingly, she said wistfully, “It’s a good thing my husband isn’t in the best of health, otherwise I don’t know how I’d explain these welts.”

She seemed quite proud of her battle scars. Shane would be only too glad to oblige her again in the future, but at the moment he didn’t feel like participating in a long discussion about the welts on her manly ass. He had his money and he was ready to roll out.

The drive over the Walt Whitman Bridge was quiet. Felicia squirmed in her seat, obviously in severe discomfort brought on by the whipping. Shane refused to offer her sympathy. She asked for it and he gave her what she wanted. He kept his eyes focused on the bridge traffic. With all her squirming and carrying on, he didn’t want her to lose control of the car and send them careening over the side of the bridge.

Felicia paid the bridge toll and merged onto the Schuylkill Expressway. She cut her eyes at Shane. “I’d like another session later on tonight.”

“You must be crazy!” Shane blurted.

“I’ll pay you double,” she said anxiously.

“Why? Ain’t your ass on fire? Why you want some more?”

“I want to try something different,” she confessed.

Shane, always on top of his game, wasn’t about to miss out on a great opportunity. “Well, look. Check this out. I got something to do. Why don’t you let me hold your wheel and then I can make it back at a decent hour.”

“Hold my what?”

“Your wheel. Your ride. Your car. Damn!”

“My car! Shane, do you have a driver’s license?” Felicia asked, lines of apprehension forming on her forehead.

“Forget it!” Sulking, he turned his head away from her.

“All right,” Felicia said desperately. “But please be careful. Please follow all traffic laws and don’t have a gang of young hoodlums in my car. That’ll attract too much attention—”

“Yo! Chill. I gotchu. I ain’t no chump. You ain’t gotta tell me how to handle myself. I know what to do.”

CHAPTER 36

“N
ice,” Kapri commented when Shane opened the car door for her. Being with Kapri made him want to behave like a gentleman, but on the real, he felt like a weirdo; he’d never opened a door for a woman in his life.

“It’s not my ride; I borrowed it from a friend. I’m trying to make a good impression on you,” he admitted with a bashful grin.

“That’s so sweet. But you didn’t have to go to all this trouble, I have a car.” She pointed to a cute Mazda 3 parked at the curb. “It can’t compete with this, but it’ll take us wherever we want to go.”

“That’s you!” Shane said, referring to Kapri’s car. “It’s cute; just like you.” Kapri blushed. “Thank you.”

“So, tell me—what’s this about? You seem like a nice girl. You got it going on—decent job, your own place, a nice set of wheels…why you interested in a thug like me?” he inquired challengingly.

“You know what they say. Every lady needs a thug in her life!” Kapri chuckled. “But no…seriously. I liked you before I met you. Tariq loves you; he’s told me all about you. He said you ended up in that reform school due to circumstances beyond your control. I know about…” Kapri shifted uncomfortably and looked down. “I know about your past…your mother’s death, all the foster homes.”

“Yo!” He held up a hand to silence her. “I’m not tryin’ to go down that old road. We’re goin’ out to have some fun. Feel me?”

Kapri nodded. Her expression told him that she was sorry she’d touched upon a sensitive topic.

“Baby,” he said, softening his tone. “Can you think of something else we can do? I have to pass on bowling. When I mentioned it, I didn’t realize how sore I’d be from all that heavy lifting I do on the job.”

“No, I don’t mind at all,” Kapri said.

“You hungry?”

“Starved.”

“You like seafood?”

“Love it!”

“Me, too.”

They drove to Red Lobster on Baltimore Pike in Springfield. It was pretty crowded; the smiling hostess informed them there’d be a forty-five-minute wait, so Shane escorted Kapri to the bar.

She ordered a White Russian, he had three Heinekens, and by the time their table was ready, they were both feeling slightly intoxicated. They laughed gaily as Shane escorted her to their table with his arm around her waist.

During the meal, behaving amorously and uninhibited, Kapri reached across the table to lightly stroke the fine hairs that sprouted from the top of Shane’s hand and traveled up his arm.

“Watch yourself, shorty; you don’t wanna play with fire,” he warned.

“Why not? I don’t think you’ll burn me. In fact, I think you’re my knight in shining armor. You’re the man who’s going to protect me from harm,” Kapri said flirtatiously. Suddenly turning red, she covered her mouth. “This isn’t me,” she explained with a giggle. “It’s this,” she said, pointing to her drink. “It’s making me act…”

“Like you got the hots for me,” Shane said, teasingly finishing her sentence. “Suppose I was real honest with you and told you that I’m not trying to get serious. Suppose I told you that I’m freelancing right now and all I want to do is get you in bed, no strings attached, I’ll see you when I see you. What would you say?”

“I’m up to the challenge,” Kapri said boldly. “But make sure you can handle it when I’m not in the mood to see
you
.” She gave Shane a wink; her tongue touched her top lip naughtily.

“It’s a deal, shorty,” he said, reaching for her hand, caressing it. Shane hadn’t
felt this good in quite a while. He was comfortable around Kapri and felt he could put his guard down—reveal his softer side.

“Shorty!” She wrinkled her nose. “Shorty sounds so impersonal. Don’t you think I’m special enough to be called by my first name?”

Shane nodded, thinking that Kapri’s ass looked real
special
in the tight jeans she had on.
Her ass would look even more special if those jeans were on the floor!

They left the restaurant and went back to Kapri’s place—a small, nicely furnished apartment. Shane and Kapri didn’t waste time sitting and chatting in the living room. Their physical attraction for each other was so strong, the couple made a beeline straight to the bedroom.

Standing on her tiptoes, Kapri threw her arms around Shane’s neck and kissed him passionately. “I feel like I’ve been waiting for you all my life, Shane. I fell in love with you at first sight,” she confessed. “No, that’s not true,” she corrected, shaking her head. “I fell in love with you a long time ago—years ago.”

Shane furrowed his brow.

“I know it sounds crazy. But back when Tariq and I worked at McDonald’s, he talked about you constantly. He described you physically, so I already had a mental image. He spoke of your dual personality.”

“My what?”

“He said you showed the world your fiery temperament, but he and possibly your former foster mother knew about your deep sensitivity. He told me you’ve been looking out for him for as long as he can remember. As far as Tariq is concerned, you can do no wrong. You’ve always been his protector. You’re his hero, Shane.”

Shane felt touched by her words. He wasn’t big on kissing, he typically liked to get to the good part as soon as possible, but Kapri was speaking to his heart; he was really feeling her. So, he offered his lips-softly at first and then he slowly slipped his tongue inside her mouth. Her mouth tasted sweet, as if she’d been eating tangerines. Shane rubbed his tongue against hers, while his fingers unbuttoned her blouse and eased it off her shoulders and unhooked her bra.

He fondled her firm breasts, kissed them. But afraid he’d lose control, Shane forced himself to move away from dangerous territory. Laying Kapri down on
her stomach, he softly brushed his lips across her back and nuzzled her thighs through the denim fabric. She moaned when he placed little bites all over her butt cheeks. Turning her over, he kissed her stomach and unsnapped and unzipped her jeans.

He helped her wiggle out of the tight jeans and then kissed and licked her crotch until the flimsy satin fabric of her underwear was soaked from the mingling of her juices and the moistness of his tongue.

Kapri pulled Shane’s curly hair, which enticed him to lick with an intensity that made her shudder.

Finally putting them both out their misery, Shane pulled down Kapri’s tiny thong and slipped it off her ankles. He parted her vaginal lips as if they were delicate flower petals and placed his tongue inside, stretching it as far as it would go, pushing in and out until Kapri whimpered with desire.

Shane ripped off his clothes. “Kapri,” he whispered huskily. “You gon’ get on the mic?”

She nodded and took in as much of his oversized dick as she could take without choking. She let it slip out of her mouth and slid the shaft across her face. Shane kept his eyes open, enjoying the erotic sight. Watching her give him oral sex sent ripples of pleasure through his body.

“Damn, baby. I didn’t know you could rap like that,” he said with a forceful thrust. Then he pulled out. “That’s it; that’s enough! You gotta stop, baby. The way you spittin’ out lyrics, you ’bout to make me cum.”

He rolled over and got on top of Kapri. Slipping inside her, Shane tried his best to hit every inch of her inner walls: the sides, the top, the bottom. Then, he drove in even deeper. He wanted to please this woman—this sexy little angel. It was a brand-new feeling, something totally unfamiliar. Love? He wasn’t sure, but he knew what he was feeling was something much more than lust.

“Shane,” she said, holding him tight and breathing hard. “You ever been in love? I mean, really, truly in love?” Kapri asked as if reading Shane’s mind.

“Never.” He answered breathily. He couldn’t count his feelings toward his foster mother as romantic love. It was a different kind of love. He shook away an image of Dolores Holmes; he didn’t want to break the mood by thinking about her.

“Do you want to be in love?” Kapri persistently inquired.

Damn, he wished she’d shut up so he could concentrate. “No, I’m not ready,” he said in a pleading voice that begged her not to take him there.

“But can’t you feel it?”

“Yes,” he admitted in a husky whisper.

“Do you like it?”

“No.”

“Why not?”

“I’m scared.”

There was silence. Shane couldn’t believe that he’d just confessed that he was scared. Though he wanted to retract the statement, he knew it was too late.

He pulled Kapri tightly against him. Her heart beat against his as he rocked her into his mating rhythm. Pumping, thrusting, undulating as he tried to block out all thoughts. He blocked out all the words of love that poured past Kapri’s passionate lips. When she screamed his name, her cries broke through his barrier and Shane could no longer hold back the words. “I love you, too. Kapri, I need you, girl.”

Tariq wasn’t happy with the relationship between his brother and his best friend. Kapri had no idea of the type of man she was dealing with; she hadn’t a clue that nothing good could result from a relationship with Shane. Shane couldn’t help himself. He had a destructive side that would eventually touch Kapri’s well-planned life and throw it out of whack. Knock her off her mark.
