The pleasure ebbed. We sighed together and relaxed. Sweat
beaded on my chest and forehead. I panted and swiped my fingertips over it.
“Holy mother of god. Was that ever mind-boggling.”

Giovanna pulled the toy out and threw it aside. “No kidding.
I just confirmed I’m definitely bisexual.” She lifted her head and grinned at
me. “What about you?”

I scrubbed at my face. “Yeah. What else could it be? I
already want to do it again.”

“Mmm, I’d love to go another round with you but it seems we
don’t have—”

“That’s it.” Frank banged on the door again. “I swear I’m
gonna go get the maintenance guy and have him let me in. And believe me, once I
get past this door you’re both going to get your pretty little asses spanked.”
His chuckle faded down the corridor.

Giovanna rose and pulled me to a sitting position. Her hand
tangled in my hair. She drew me close and gave me a smacking kiss then threw
her arm around me, pinched my chin and turned our heads toward the camera. “So
how do you like it now, Frankie?”

My own betrayal and vindictiveness weighed heavy in my gut.

Stop it. Don’t forget
his
betrayal, making plans
to dump you and be with Leah and Ned again.

Giovanna snickered. Her breasts jiggled when she climbed off
the bed. “Well let’s get out of here before he comes back.”

“I’m right behind you.” I glanced at the lens above the
flat-screen television and sighed. Even though he deserved it I didn’t want to
torture him with the goodbye face of a jilted lover. Having sex with Giovanna
to drive him nuts had been enough.

She punched the button on the equipment, stopping the
recording.

My chest ached. I didn’t know why regret at our little show
and now our maliciousness weighed my heart down. Frank’s conversation with Leah
and Ned ran through my mind. Dammit. No, it wasn’t time to suffer remorse or to
feel sorry for him.

Despite the wonderful sex between the three of us he had it
coming to him.

Giovanna must have moved halfway in with Frank because she
dug around in the closet and handed me a velvety neon sweat suit.

“Bleh. Bright pink? He’ll find me with this spotlight on for
sure.”

“Funny. Real funny. Get moving before he gets back.” She
dressed in quick motions and slid her feet into sandals.

I drew the shirt over my head and settled it around my
breasts and waist. “What, no pink panties to match my ‘sexy’ suit?”

Gio gathered her purse and keys and laughed. “No. If I have
anything to say about it, your tasty pussy will never ever be covered by
panties again. Now would you quit goofing around and just get the pants on? If
he gets back before we leave, it’s going to get real messy.”

I donned the pants, the soft fabric brushing across my
sensitive, moist cunt.

She threw me a pair of Nikes with a pink swoosh that matched
the suit. I bent and slipped them on.

Gio smacked my butt. “Let’s go, hottie.”

The sting warmed my ass cheek. It would be so exciting to
just stay here and test every toy in that box. “You do that one more time we’ll
be back in that bed recording another round for him.”

“Ha ha. Don’t tempt me.” Gio
grabbed a Post-it notepad and pen off the nightstand, jotted something down and
slapped the paper on the TV.

Hey, handsome. Take a look at this recording.
An
arrow pointed toward the power button.
See you at the club!

“There. That should get our point across. The bastard.” Gio took
my hand, dragged me through the apartment and opened the door. She glimpsed the
corridor side to side before leading me down the back exit stairway and to her
car.

“I figured we’d stop by Puss ’N Tush and do some hunting,
maybe find us a hot guy. We can head there in a bit.” She chewed her lower lip.
Her eyes twinkled. “Hmm… Or how about another woman? Maybe one of your stripper
friends?”

I gulped. “Yeah. Sure. Sounds um…intriguing.” The last thing
I wanted to do was get a personal thing going with one of my “stripper
friends”.

We climbed into her Mercedes. Something tugged at my heart
as we took off, leaving Frank behind to watch me and Giovanna make love in his
bed without him.

And leaving him to rue the day he ever crossed us.

Chapter Seven

The long steamy shower I’d had at the apartment had cooled
my hormones after I’d sat on the bed and gawked at their taped message. Now I
rubbed my crotch while I drove the shortest route to the club. My cock started
to swell—shit, my aching balls always had a mind of their own. Now wasn’t any
different. The recording they’d left for me had to be the hottest thing I’d
ever seen. Hotter than any porno movie.

Torture. Pure fucking torture was more like it.

What in the hell were they up to?

I sped across the causeway, zipping in and out of traffic as
I approached Miami Beach. Diamond-like glitters scattered over the choppy water
in the bay. The morning sun glowed yellow in the azure sky.

Azure, just like Jazmine’s eyes.

God how I loved this place, all its buzz and nightlife and
stunning beaches crawling with babes almost as hot as Jazmine and Giovanna.

Their naughty taped performance baffled me. Why had they put
on that show when I was down on the street getting rid of Leah and Ned? Had the
taping been foreplay for the next round? Or had Jaz and Giovanna been flipping
me the bird?

If so I had no idea why. Hell, given the “arrest” Leah and
Ned had inflicted on me, Gio and Jaz should feel sorry for me. Yet the sarcasm
in the video, along with that “see you at the club” part of the note, made me
suspicious.

Something odd was going down and I intended to find out what
the fuck it was.

I approached the beachside street and turned south. That was
when I saw the smoke. What the hell? Sirens wailed. Cop cars raced past me and
blasted through red lights. I clicked into cop mode and followed behind the
tail-end cruiser.

The farther south we went my gut roiled with dread.

Was the smoke coming from…from Puss ’N Tush?

I flew down the last half mile.

Shit. It
was
Puss ’N Tush.

The parking lot swarmed with police cars and fire engines.
Firefighters circled the blackened outer walls and aimed their hoses at the
enormous flames shooting from the right side of the building.

“Fuck me.” I pulled behind a mob of vehicles with their
lights flashing, threw my car in park and set feet on pavement.

Leah and Ned were already there, taking notes and huddling
with a gathering of my coworkers.

I rubbed at my forehead and approached the group. “What the
shit is going on? What happened?”

Leah peered at me over her notepad. “That’s exactly what
we’d like to know. Obviously a fire but probably not an accident. Got the radio
call shortly after leaving your place.”

“Suspect arson,” Ned said, jotting his own notes down.
“Probably an order from Clive Greville to one of his underlings after Greville
was arrested early this morning.”

Officer Dean Briggs gave a quick-motion head nod. He had his
hands on his hips just below his officer’s belt. “What’s up, Lyons?”

“Not much. Just driving by and noticed the smoke.”

Leah poised her pen over paper. She narrowed her eyes.
“Right. Just driving by.”

“Leah…” Ned’s voice held a chastising tone of warning.

She lifted a shoulder. “Whatever.”

I presumed Leah felt rebuked by my refusal to jump back into
a relationship with her and Ned. But who wouldn’t turn them down when two
incredible women waited for them in their apartment? No doubt Gio and Jaz had
expected not only to resume our lovemaking but to get an explanation about what
had just happened with the “arrest”. Actually they most likely assumed I’d been
taken to jail, so they’d probably been dressing in a hurry to meet me at the
precinct.

I frowned. Although after finding them gone and then seeing
the note and watching their teasing video, it baffled me why the club had even
been mentioned in that note.

My gaze shifted back to the nightclub. A third of the
building was engulfed, the south end now succumbing to the spreading blaze.

Sergeant Harris, a muscle-packed black man, offered a bit
more information. “A few hours ago Ned and Leah arrested the owner Clive
Greville for underage prostitution and trafficking through the club. Makes the
timing of the fire kind of suspicious, wouldn’t you say?”

Oh yeah. How could I forget the club arrest?

From what they’d explained to me after their hoax, Ned and
Leah had been here during my “lewd” behavior for that very reason—to gather
their final evidence and make the arrest.

Then following mine, Jaz’s and Gio’s departure, the sting
had gone down. They’d closed the place within thirty minutes after we’d left.
Once their shift was over Leah and Ned had shown up at my apartment and
“arrested” me. They’d hauled me down to the squad car and confessed between
snorts and laughter that it had been a prank.

Ha. So fucking clever.

After that, they’d propositioned me to hook back up with
them because
they
needed spice in their second round of marriage. It had
already soured since remarrying and ditching me. And according to Leah they’d
missed the hell out of me.

I’d welcomed Leah’s kiss to set the stage, lied and agreed
to their proposition. One sweet moment of savoring my coming retribution. Yeah
so I’d turned them down and snickered at my own stunt. And whoa, had it ever
pissed them off.

I grinned, recalling the explosive reaction, especially
Leah’s. Ah, paybacks were such hell.

Now that that mess was over, I longed to have a solid,
promising relationship with Jazmine and Giovanna instead.

Especially Jazmine.

God, in spite of Jaz’s spoiled behavior during our marriage
my life had been empty without her. It had hit home after I’d parted ways with
Leah and Ned. But during our lovemaking this morning with Gio, I detected the
feeling had been mutual and solidified between me and Jaz. Based on those
burning gazes, a strange connection had been rekindled in the wee hours of the
morning.

I turned around at the sound of a car squealing into the
parking lot. It was a black Mercedes.

Giovanna’s car.

She pulled in, Jazmine in the passenger’s seat.

Why the urgent, almost angry driving?

My heart sank. They must not have stopped by the station to
“bail” me out. Why? Why were they here instead of coming to my supposed rescue?

“Excuse me,” I said to Leah, Ned and the group of coworkers.

Leah snorted. “There’s no excuse. With those two uh…women,
you’re playing with fire. No pun intended.”

“Leah,” Ned scolded again. “Shut up.”

Leal stuck her tongue out at Ned. “Fuck you.”

During our relationship, Leah hadn’t been so crude. When had
she turned into such a witch?

I walked toward Gio’s car, my pulse thudding in my throat,
acrid smoke thick in the air.

So the taping. It had been more of a jab of revenge—for
what, I didn’t know—instead of to tease me and spice up our relationship. I
knew it in my gut. Tension crackled in the air and I sensed this wasn’t going
to be good.

Gio’s gaze met mine through the windshield. A sneer marred
her beautiful face. She rolled her eyes at me.

What did I do between now and an hour ago to deserve such
disdain?

Jazmine’s horrified, searing scrutiny shifted from the fire
to me. I could swear I saw moisture in her eyes. It sent a punch to my heart.
But temper lit them as well, temper I remembered so well during our marriage.

Something had happened.

Something not so pleasant.

I sighed. It had to be somehow related to why they’d locked
me out and vanished from my apartment. And why they’d left that recording for
me to watch.

To be spiteful, not to pleasure me. But why?

Their doors opened at the same time. They climbed out,
Jazmine in a bright-pink form-fitting sweat suit, Gio in a black one.

Son of a bitch, so exquisite.

Their naughty sex with the double-dong had been my undoing.
I wanted them now.
Now.
Obviously I couldn’t have them here—unless we
were inside the club and it wasn’t burning the hell down. But I yearned to throw
them both over that car hood, rip those tight pants down and fuck them like
they’d never been fucked before. If it were three a.m., oh yeah, I’d do it.
They’d brought me to that beast level. Thank god the sun blazed in the sky and
my partners crowded the parking lot.

Jazmine rushed forward with her hand over her mouth. Her
face was pale despite the spray-on tan that usually made it glow. Her gaze
drifted back and forth between me, the destruction and the rising black smoke.
“Frank. What happened? How did this happen?”

“Don’t know. For now they’ve got to get the fire out, then
the detectives and firefighters’ll perform an investigation.” I started to
reach for Jazmine but Gio pulled her out of my reach.

Giovanna glanced at me. Her plump mouth—the mouth that had
given me such fantastic head—curved downward in a scowl. I could tell she had
her teeth clenched because a muscle in her jaw tensed just as it used to when
we’d have a quarrel. Only now her dark eyes flashed with a much higher degree
of hostility.

“Don’t you touch her, you cheating prick.”

I released the air that had been trapped in my lungs. “What
the fuck is this about? Not an hour or so ago we’d all been wrapped up in bed
together. Was it the arrest? If so, that was a stupid-ass prank they—”

“I heard you through the window. Saw you with…with them. You
kissed her.” Jazmine eyed the circle of cops. Ah. Now my suspicions were
confirmed. She’d seen and heard our conversation therefore Leah and Ned
were
the problem.

I shook my head. “No. That’s not what happened. Well I’m
sure it appeared that way but it’s not what you think.”

But Jaz and Gio must not’ve seen me stalk away from Leah and
Ned this morning and throw over my shoulder, “Fuck you both. The joke is on
you. Did you really think I’d ever crawl back into your bed after you ditched
me?
And
after you burst into my apartment and ruined the best night of
my life?”

I heard the buzz of the crowd forming around the perimeter.
Yet I didn’t care who heard my conversation with these two, one that no doubt
was about to escalate into an all-out shouting match.

Gio held Jaz’s arm. She stood behind my ex, her mouth
against Jaz’s ear. “He’s lying. You know he is. You heard him down on the
street planning to get back with them. He’s trying to manipulate you because—”

“That’s a lie.” I fisted my hands. My pulse leaped into
action. I wasn’t going to let Gio get away with this. “Jaz, would you just
listen to me?
She’s
manipulating
you
. Either that or she’s
completely fucking mistaken.”

Gio wrapped her arms around Jazmine from behind. Her smile
reeked with chilly retaliation and her sharp gaze seemed to spear me right in
the heart. “Uh, no. I heard the whole thing too. I saw the kiss, listened to
all the laughter, heard you agree to screw around with them again. And all the while
me and Jazmine were upstairs worrying that you were being dragged off to jail?
What a son of a bitch.”

Hm. So Gio’s feelings had been hurt too. She operated on
betrayal and worked on swaying Jaz into her corner.

What a mess I’d made of things.

“Listen, both of you. It is
not
true. It’s not what
you think. Please. Both of you stop this. Give me a chance to explain.” I held
Jaz’s gaze, hoping my eyes told the real truth and she’d remember what we’d had
in the past. Maybe she’d believe me and sway Gio instead of the other way around.
“Jaz. Sweetheart. Don’t let her do this to us before you know the whole story.
She’s—”

“No. Don’t let
him
do this to
us
. I’m sure he
saw our video. It was hot.” Gio pulled Jazmine a few more steps away from me.
“Too hot for him to let us go now.
That’s
why he’s changed his mind
about being with Leah and Ned. Our video is why. We showed him what he’d be
missing.”

I shoved my fingers through my hair. But I wanted to pull
every strand out. “No. That is
not
true. Jazmine, honey. It was a joke.
All a joke, not—”

“Well, well, well.” Leah strolled over and stood next to me.
She pushed her blazer jacket aside and hooked her thumbs in her pistol’s
holster strap. Ned followed and stood to her left. Leah sneered. “What have we
here? Your two whores…I mean lovers?”

The chatter of the crowd grew louder as more passersby
gathered to gawk at the excitement of the club, now nothing but dying flames
and burnt partial walls. Smoke whorled around me, Jazmine, Gio, Leah and Ned.
Fire engine and cruiser lights flashed on their faces.

At Leah’s words Ned flushed as pink as Jazmine’s clothing.
He shuffled his feet but remained quiet.

Leah’s face brightened, sunny and gloating.

Damn her.
Anal sex with her had been astonishing but
not enough to make up for this spiteful attitude of hers today. She probably
had one of her anal plugs in right now, the kind that had made me hard knowing
she had one in her ass to prepare for anal sex with me.

But it did nothing for me anymore. Her new ruthless attitude
turned me the hell off.

Gio’s expression transformed from the white of shock to
furious crimson. Her eyes spit flames at Leah.

And Jazmine’s eyes were wide, her face ashen.

I could only imagine how green with aggravation and
frustration mine were.

“Didn’t we go through this back at my apartment earlier?” I
asked Leah. My words erupted from my chest in a growl. “Respect. I told you
earlier to have some respect. She’s my ex-wife, damn you.”

Ned gripped Leah’s elbow and drew her a step backward toward
the throng of investigators, firefighters and policemen. “Shit, Leah. Why the
hell do you have to keep stirring things up?”

She yanked her arm free. “Because he can’t see what a mess
this woman’s made of his life. Yet he keeps going back to her over and over.
And now he’s got yet another one mucking things up for us. For you and me,
Ned.” She turned back and glared at me. “For god’s sake, why can’t you see
that, Frank? Why can’t you see how much your life has been screwed-up since you
took up with her? With them? Such sickening low-lives.”
