Epilogue

light attendants tell me all the time, “I lead a boring life compared to yours.” I have wondered why they say this and have a few ideas.

There are many roads one can take through life. Straight roads get you where you want to go safely and predictably. The winding path usually includes risk, adventure and for me, a sense of endless possibility. I choose adventure every time, I think that is why I wanted to become a flight attendant in the first place.

People also frequently ask me, “Why are you so happy?” I cannot say for sure but I think it is because I have been lucky enough to find my purpose. Flying has enabled me to fulfill that purpose and be true to myself. I want to make a difference in people’s lives. I enjoy putting a smile on someone’s face and spreading good cheer.

My career as a flight attendant has been everything I hoped it would be and much, much more. Many interesting people
have come my way; each on their own unique journey. As we crossed paths, I have enjoyed making those memorable and special connections.

My journey continues and I hope that if in the future your plans call for air travel, your trip is full of adventure and remember,
