Her heart kicked hard. The emotions she
felt on the beach when Adam first proposed took washed over her once more. She
leaned into hi
m, slipped and nearly fell on top of
Adam. His arms automatically circled her waist, holding her close.

“Don’t fall.”

She leaned into him and wrapped her arms
around his neck. “Too late, I’ve already fallen.”

He held her gaze. “Is that a yes?”

She smiled.
“A big, loud yes.”

“The ring stays on forever, Liliana, no
matter what. Promise me you will never take it off.”

“You have me, Adam.” She leaned into him
and lightly brushed her mouth on his.
“For a lifetime.”

His mouth captured hers, soothing every
ache i
n her heart and soul. She wrapped her arms
tight around his neck. And it felt good. It felt right.
