Dare, however, didn’t seem content guiding her to her climax. He wanted to push her completely over the edge. Dare took a gentle nip at her clit as he eased his middle finger inside of her, making Aya cry out and her eyes cross.

She didn’t know how much longer her leg would hold her steady before she collapsed from all the wondrous sensations whirling within her. As Dare continued his sensual assault, easing his finger in and out of her, Aya twisted and shook, more turned on than she’d ever been.

When he bit down on her bud again with more pressure, she completely splintered apart. Her orgasm was swift and powerful. Dare didn’t seem to be finished. He released her clit only to lap her pussy with broad strokes of his tongue until she exploded yet again. Just when she thought she’d collapse, Dare gently nudged her leg off his shoulder and stood up. He, then, lifted Aya into his arms and placed her in the center of the bed.

As her body was recovering from the aftermath of his talented tongue and fingers, Dare quickly undressed. He slid onto the bed next to her. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he pulled her body against his.

He stroked the side of her face and body. “I feel like I’m going to wake up and you won’t be here.”

Dare’s confession touched something deep within her. Aya touched his face. “I’m really here. And when you wake up, I still will be.”

“I don’t deserve you, Aya. After all I’ve done—”

She placed her finger over his lips to silence him. “This is a new beginning. We won’t dwell on the past.”

“About The Run, I just wanted you to know that, my Executive Assistant, Ronald will be going through the records of all the women who participated in The Run since my company took ownership of it.”

“Why?”

“I’m compensating them for what they’ve been through, although I know no amount of money can fix what happened, I hope they can put the credits to good use.”

“That’s amazing, Dare. I appreciate you taking responsibility and the steps to compensate for what you did. It means a lot. People can say they want to change but those words mean nothing if  not backed by action. I’m not excusing what you did, but I forgive you.”

Dare took her hand and brought it to his lips. “And I’m going to make sure you never regret that decision. Whatever you want is yours, Aya.”

“I just want you. Speaking of which…” she let her gaze drift down the center of his hard body until it rested on his completely erect cock. “Are you going to do anything about that?”

He smiled. “If you insist.”

“I do.”

She spread her legs to accommodate his body as he rolled on top of her. Aya bit the inside of her lip in anticipation of him being inside of her. Dare grasped his member and placed it at her slick opening. “Are you ready?”

Aya nodded, too anxious to speak. Slowly, he slid his cock inside of her, a little bit at a time until he was so deep inside of her, she wasn’t sure where he ended and she began. A gasp of delight escaped her lips as she savored the feeling of being deliciously filled. His thickness stretched her walls so decadently, she nearly lost it right then and there.

Aya had believed that she was depraved because she had enjoyed every dirty little thing Dare had ever done to her body, no matter how hard and rough he got. But she now knew it wasn’t the sex acts that had aroused her to the point of madness. It was Dare. Her body had known what it took a while for her heart and mind to figure out. She loved this man and she probably always would. Aya locked her legs around his body as Dare began move, a gradual pace at first before picking up speed.

He clasped her hands with his, interlocking their fingers. The gesture was tender and brought tears to her eyes. “Love you,” he whispered.

They moved in sync to the rhythm of their beating hearts. Every part of Aya was engaged with this man, who had laid siege to her body. But now, she gave it all to him willingly.

Dare gritted his teeth as he moved inside of her. “Can’t hold back.”

“Then let go because I’m coming with you.” She squeezed his hands as she reached her release. “Dare!”

“Aya!”

They screamed simultaneously.

He shot his seed deep within her core before collapsing on top of her. Aya accepted his full weight, reveling in it. Dare buried his face against her neck while he caught his breath. Aya stroked his sweat slicked back. They lay locked together, with Dare’s semi-erect cock still inside of her.

Finally, with seeming reluctance, Dare rolled off her much to Aya’s disappointment. He maneuvered them until she rested in the crook of his arms and they faced each other. “I’m sorry. I was probably too heavy for you.”

“I didn’t mind.”

“But, you’re so tiny. I don’t want to hurt you.”

“I’m sturdier than I look. You should know that,” she teased.

“Don’t remind me. I was a monster.”

“No. You were just a man in a lot of pain. I forgive you Dare, but you’re going to have to learn to forgive yourself.”

“I’m sure I will eventually, with your help. I still find it hard to believe you’re here with me now. Aya, I promise I’ll spend the rest of my waking days making up to you for what I did. But I’m new at this love thing and I can’t promise that I won’t get jealous or possessive sometimes.”

“Well I can’t promise that I won’t curse at you or lose my temper when I get frustrated but I’m working on my temper. I’m saying this to point out that neither of us is perfect, but we’re perfectly imperfect for each other and we’ll work through our issues together.”

“You humble me.”

“Well, if anyone would have told me almost a year ago, I would be here with you like this, I wouldn’t have believed them. When I first met you, I thought you were evil, arrogant, and over entitled.”

“And now?”

She hesitated for a moment as her heart swelled with love for this man. His jade gaze roamed her face lovingly. “And now, I still think you’re arrogant and maybe a bit entitled but I’m yours completely; heart, body, and soul.”

A sinister game had given him the right to claim her, but it was love that allowed him to keep her.

Epilogue

Aya knew the minute Dare walked into the bar. She was in the middle of serving customers, but she could feel his heated gaze on her back. Her body began to tingle in anticipation and her pulse raced as she remembered all the naughty things he did to her in bed the night before.

“Um, that was two number ones, a number thirteen, and a five?” She confirmed as she tapped the information into her holopad. Aya tried her hardest to remain focused on her task but it was difficult with Dare in such close proximity.

One of the men at the table smiled at her. “No, honey. Two number ones, a number fourteen, and a five.”

Aya corrected the order in her device. “I’m sorry, sir. Will that be all?”

“How about you let me take you out sometime?” He wiggled his eyebrows at her.

It wasn’t the first time she’d been hit on by a customer, but she stole a nervous glance over her shoulder to see Dare sitting two tables away. His fingers beat a pattern against the table, and his lips were pressed into a thin impatient line. He’d heard. Thankfully, he remained seated and she appreciated it. The customer was harmless and she could more than handle him herself. “I’m flattered, but I’m already seeing someone.”

The guy placed his palms up and chuckled. “You can’t blame a fella for trying.”

Aya smiled politely as she pressed the button to send the order to the kitchen. “Your orders should be out shortly.”

She headed to Dare’s table and would have taken the seat across from him, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her down on his lap. Before she could get a word out, he cupped the back of her head and covered her mouth with his. He didn’t simply kiss her, Dare devoured her. In the back of her mind she realized this was unprofessional as hell, but she parted her lips beneath the demanding thrust of his tongue.

They’d been together last night throughout the early light of the morning yet she still missed this. When a few of the diners made whistling sounds directed to them, Aya placed her hands against his chest and pushed him away. It took her a moment to catch her breath before she could speak. “Hello to you, too.”

“I wanted to rip his fucking head off,” he muttered, shooting a death glare in the direction of the man who’d asked her out.

“Calm down. I handled it.”

He sighed, raking his hands through his hair. “I’m sorry. I’m still working on controlling my temper. But I can’t help myself, sometimes, when it comes to you.”

She patted him on the chest. “And, I admire your restraint.”

“I’d feel a lot more secure about us if you’d just move back in with me. You practically live there already. You’re over every night when I’m not away on business. Why not make it permanent?”

“Remember, we said we’d take it slow? That was only a couple months ago. Besides, I can’t leave Uncle Arthur just yet.”

“He can move in, too. The house is big enough. He can have a wing to himself.”

Aya snorted. “That won’t go over well.” Even though she’d been seeing Dare for weeks now, her uncle had yet to warm to him. Uncle Arthur did, however, accept that Aya was an adult and had the right to make her own decisions regarding who she wanted to be with, so he thankfully kept silent on the issue.

“Didn’t you say that he and the woman who used to be his companion are on more than friendly terms?”

It was true her uncle and Mera Grise, his former companion, had become close. Aya had caught the two of them cuddled up together in the kitchen more than a few times. In fact, the woman had started to spend some nights at the apartment according to Mac, who kept an eye on the place when she was at Dare’s.

Aya wasn’t sure if it was serious, but if it was, she was happy for him. Uncle Arthur had sacrificed so much for her and deserved to find love. And Aya liked Mera. The older woman had formerly worked in a brothel but had been pushed out when her clients had dwindled as she aged. Mera was witty, nice, and most importantly, Uncle Arthur liked her. That was good enough for Aya.

“I think they might be, although Uncle Arthur hasn’t really come right out and said so. Let’s talk about this later tonight. I have to take care of the customers. Macy didn’t come in today and I haven’t been able to get in touch with her. It’s not like her to at least not contact us when she can’t make it in.”

Dare reluctantly released Aya as she stood up. “Okay, but we’ll discuss this tonight. In the meantime, how about a whiskey?”

“You got it.” As she walked away he called out to her.

Dare winked. “And this time, I’d prefer that you not toss it in my face.”

Aya giggled as she looked over her shoulder. “As long as you behave, your beverage will remain in your glass.”

“Then, I’ll be on my best behavior. I can’t make any guarantees about tonight, however.”

“Promise?”
