Chapter 3

Pit decided to go into work early that morning. He had a lot of business to take care of, and he wanted to get things situated at the office before he took care of his other business. He had a plan, and he was ready to put his plan into action. All he could think about was Kale and his family and he wanted to change his ways and give up his fast living for good so that he could be the man that they all wanted him to be. He took pride in being able to take care of his family, and if he allowed his dirty living and greed to take him away from his family, he would never forgive himself. When Pit was released from prison two years ago, he decided to slow down on as much dealings as possible. He was always great with his hands and when he got out he decided to link up with his two uncles and put in work with them whenever they needed him. Uncle Willie and Uncle Ed were his mother’s older brothers. He loved both his uncles and they had always looked out for him. They fed him wisdom every chance they got, and he refused it every chance he got. Until he was wise enough to listen, he did not want to hear what they had to say.

Uncle Ed was a mechanic and a repair man and he owned a small mechanic shop. He made a pretty decent amount of money, but he also dabbled in a bit of illegal rendezvous too to gain a little more money to provide for his family. He was not one to be fucked with. The streets feared him. Pit respected him. Pit had mad love for his uncle and was glad when his Uncle Ed took him under his wing and showed him how to work both sides of his business to his advantage. He worked at Uncle Ed’s mechanic shop by night and at his Uncle Willie’s contracting company during the day. His Uncle Willie had built an eight man team that he had rocking with him, and together they built some of the best homes in Beaumont.

He was sitting at his desk in his office looking over the blueprint of the home that he was preparing to build for Kale and himself. In walked both Uncle Willie and Uncle Ed with very serious looks on their faces. He was startled by their actions. Usually, whenever he had his office door closed, everyone knew to knock.

“ ‘Sup, Uncs? What’s going on? Is something wrong?”

Pit put down the blueprint that he was holding and gave all of his attention to his uncles.

Both Willie and Ed sat down in the two chairs facing Pit’s desk. They looked at Pit and then at each other.

Finally, Willie spoke up, “There’s been talk that someone has been trying to start trouble in our business.”

“Trouble? What kind of trouble? And who’s talking?” Pit asked, wanting to feel unbothered by this news, but thought to himself that trouble was definitely the last thing he needed at this very moment.

“One of the lil’ youngins down at the house on Emmons said that there was a guy come looking for you. He said that he had never seen the guy before, but he had claimed that he grew up with you. When I told him to describe the guy, it sounded a lot like lil’ Percy.”

Now that was a name that Pit had not heard or spoken in years. Percy “Nocturnal” Williams was his boy. They used to hustle and grind together until he ended up getting himself locked up. Noc was a pretty loyal and level-headed guy. He never ratted on anyone when he got locked up and he showed Pit mad love whenever they would talk. Pit would visit him from time to time when Pit himself became a free man and kept money on his books. But when Noc was released, he moved with a family member somewhere up north and Pit hadn’t heard from him since. He didn’t understand how or why Noc could be starting any trouble at the trap houses though.

“I don’t understand what motive Noc would have to start trouble with us, but I am sure going to make it my business to find out.”

Willie and Ed looked at one another and Ed added, “That’s not all. That’s actually the least of our worries right now.”

              “So what is the problem?”

“The city has red tagged all seven of our houses that we still have work coming in from. They say that if they are not brought up to code, then they will be scheduled for demolition. And, there has been tampering down at Pet Cemetery.”

This sudden news caught Pit off guard more than anything.

“Pet Cemetery? Tampering down there? What for?”

“There wasn’t enough talk about why; just enough to know that’s it’s been done,” Uncle Willie informed.

“There really isn’t any incriminating evidence there for anyone to be charged with anything. We were always sure to be careful. However, we need to meet there STAT to retrieve all of the money buried and do away with the place for good. Unless we have to knock off whoever is responsible for all this talk and movement, there’s no need for the place anyhow,” Uncle Ed declared.

And with that, they all rose to leave.

Pet Cemetery is an old abandoned warehouse where Pit, Willie, and Ed did most of their dirt. For years they would meet there for important business and underhanded dealings. The place was filled with secret passageways and tunnels. All body parts and evidence from every murder committed by one of the three men would be driven down to Pet Cemetery and done away with in a bucket of acid that they kept in one of their secret tunnels. They hid most of their money there as well, and when Pit had to serve his bid in prison, all of his money was brought there and had not been touched since.

The three men pulled up in one of Uncle Ed’s unmarked cars and got out to handle their business. Each man placed a set of black gloves on their hands and went in to retrieve their loot. Within thirty minutes they were out and driving off with suitcases filled with over eight million dollars in the trunk. The men divided their stash and agreed to meet later to discuss the next steps needed to take care of their demolition situation and then parted ways. Pit returned to his office at Uncle Willie’s Construction and as soon as he walked into the waiting area of the building, he was greeted by Noc.

Noc’s face lit up as soon as he saw Pit’s face and Pit knew at that very moment that this was not going to be an easy visit. He knew Noc far too long to know that he was up to no good. His facial  expression confirmed all of Pit’s fears. He released a huge sigh and thought, well, here goes nothing. Pit did not waste his time faking a smile because he was not happy to see his old friend. He did, however, greet Noc once he reached him. Noc rose and pulled Pit in for an embrace along with the fakest smile he could muster.

“What’s up, Fam? Long time no see! You're a hard man to catch up with. You always did keep a low profile, though. Boy, I tell ya! My nigga."

"Yeah, pretty much. What's good wit you though? What brings you back home?" Pit asked. Not one for wasting time or beating around the bush, he added, "You not in no kinda trouble or nothing, are you?"

"Nah, man. I'm good. I just came back to see my people. I'm off parole now, so I just thought I would come back home for a little while and see what's good," Noc answered.

What he said was mostly true. He did come back home to see his people, but he was also on a mission. His good friend, Pit, was a big part of that mission.

"Okay, how long you down for?" Pit questioned.

"Just a few months, I guess. Not too long, I don't figure. Unless you can put me on some game or sumtin'. I might stay a little longer to build on a lil' sumtin'," Noc tested to see where Pit head was at.

"Nah, man. I'm out the game. I've been legit for a while now. I ain't got a thing for ya."

Pit was not falling for any of Noc's schemes. He did not have time to trust no one at all. He had his mind on bigger things nowadays.

"Ahh, man. You can't be for real. The Pit I know stay wit some kinda hustle. You mean to tell me you ain't got no hype poppin' 'round here? If it's just weed, pills, drank, whateva, I can handle that until I get on my feet."

Noc knew for sure that Pit was trying to play him. There was no way that Pit was out of the game for good.

"Nah, man. I'm good. I told you. I ain't got nothing at all for you. I'm all the way legit now. I'm finally off papers too, and I'm not trying to get back on them or get locked up again. I love my freedom and my family too much for that."

"I feel you, bro. But look, check this out. I'm staying over at the the Elegante for now, but you know how pricey that can get after a few days. You mind if I crash wit you at your place?"

"Nah, man. I have my family living with me. I'll see what I can do for you though. But look, I have some business that I need to take care of. Imma hit you up later."

Pit needed to finish the business that he and his uncle needed to take care of as well as take care of some business for Kale. He had plans to show her that he was serious about their relationship. He was unsure of what Noc was up to, but he wasn't up for babysitting and trying to figure out either.

"Is it something that I can help you with?" Noc offered.

"Nah, I gotta handle this on my own," Pit declined.

“Oh, I get it. I’m pretty sure she gotta friend though,” Noc joked.

“Not that kind of business. After you gone get settled in, I will swing through after a few hours and scoop you up. We can go and get something to eat and just hang out a bit, you know, catch up. Then tomorrow morning, bright and early, we will go out and try to find you some work.”

"Alright, man. I'll catch up with you later then," Noc said sounding disappointed, but glad and hopeful to be able to meet with Pit a little later.

Before exiting the building, Pit stopped Noc.

              “Aye man, here.”

He reached into his wallet and pulled out six one hundred dollar bills.

“This all I got on me right nah. If you need more, I’ll get more for you later after I take a trip to the bank. I’ll be coming back to get you anyways, so this should hold you.”

“Only six hunned bucks on you? Having a bank account instead of a private and hidden or buried stash? Who are you?”

“I told you, I am a legitimate man now. You gotta respect that.”

With that said, Pit walked away. He did not care to listen to Noc’s reply. He was a bit discombobulated and he needed to talk to someone about his feelings. As a drug dealer and ex-con, the reason why Pit was able to get out in time enough to still be a free man was because he had a great instinct. Any time he had a bad feeling about something, he refused to do it and when the feeling got too strong, he would pull back altogether. With this feeling he had now, he knew that there was only one person that he could talk to about it that was able to help out, so he headed out to talk to that person.

Noc stepped out of the shower and he heard his cell phone ringing. There was a familiar number on his ID screen.

              “Hey baby,” he answers.

“Have you touched down yet?” the voice on the other end asked.

“Yep, I made it in town yesterday evening,” Noc answered.

“So what have you discovered so far?” the voice inquired.

              “Not too much.”

“Why not, haven’t you been asking questions? Where is he?”

“I left him about an hour and a half ago. Every question I ask, he finds a way to not answer it. I know Imma have to dig deeper to find out more, but I will find it out.”

“Try and search the house while he is gone and see what you can find. How many bedrooms is it?”

“I don’t know. Evidently, he is a family man now and I’m not good enough to be around the family. I’m up in a hotel suite. I’m going to find out who knows more about him. I just don’t understand what’s going on. I mean, we used to be so close. It’s like he knows all about my plans. You haven’t been talking to anyone, have you?”

“Of course not, no one but you.”

“Pit usually keeps a small circle of friends, but I’m pretty sure that there are a few people that would love to see him go down just as much as we do. So when I find out more I will let you know something. But don’t call me too much. I will call you when I am alone and get the chance.”

“Okay baby, but don’t keep me waiting. I’m ready to come down and do my thing.”

“You stay put; I got you.”

“Okay, but be careful. I love you.”

“I love you too.” Noc ended the call.

Chapter 4

Kale strolled into the apartment that she shared with Troy. They had been living together for almost two years. Their lease would be up for renewal in three more months and they had planned on continuing their living situation for another year. However, if Pit was being serious about them taking their relationship further and possibly starting a life and a family together, she wanted to be able to live with him and take things all the way.

“Troy! Baby, where you at?” Kale yelled as she walked into Troy’s bedroom without knocking.

Troy walked out of his bathroom and into his bedroom. He had just gotten out of the shower and wore nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Kale admired his body. Troy was very handsome. His dark chocolate skin glistened as he rubbed coconut oil over his chiseled chest and abs. Kale stared at his middle, where the towel draped right beneath his perfectly cut V-cut. Just then Troy snatched the towel from around his waist and threw it at Kale’s face.

“Dang, ma. Wipe your mouth; you’re starting to drool,” he joked, as he walked to his dresser and grabbed a pair of boxer briefs from out of the top drawer giving Kale quite the show.

“Fuck you,” Kale said as she laughed and threw the towel onto the bed.

Troy was standing there just as naked as the day he was born. Kale admired it all from his calves to his toned thighs, tight butt, and his beautiful chocolate dick.

Sliding on the briefs he added, “You know this ain’t nothing new seeing me naked. We’ve seen each other naked at least a million times since we’ve been living together. Especially with you always just bursting into my room without knocking. I’m starting to think that you do that on purpose hoping to see some skin or some action.”

“Sometimes I do,” Kale admitted. “Troy you are fine as fuck. If you were not gay and if I didn’t love you like a brother, I would have to fuck your ass real good.”

“Chile, I’d have you dickmatized. I’d put it on you so good, I’d have you ironing my drawls and clipping my toenails.”

They both burst into laughter.

“I halfway believe you. But seriously, I have to discuss something with you.”

Kale sat down on the edge of Troy’s bed and watched him as he finished oiling his body and started to get dressed.

“What’s up, Baby Doll? What’s going on?” Troy looked into Kale’s face to try and get a feel of her mood.

“Huhhhhh!” Kale let out a big sigh and she gave Troy the sad face with her lips poked out.

“What’s wrong?”

Troy sat beside Kale and admired his friend. She truly was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on. She was even pretty when she pouted. He could tell something was bothering her though and he needed to know what it was and how he could help. They both became serious.

“Okay, well it’s like this. You know that I am head over heels in love with Pit.”

“Of course, I think the whole world knows that,” Troy agreed.

“Well, we were talking last night and he was telling me, basically forcing me, to stop dancing. He told me that he could take care of me and that I don’t need to continue dancing. He says that I need to take him more seriously. That he wants to be with me and only me and that we should take our relationship to the next level.”

“How so? Ya’ll getting married?”

“I hope so in the future. But for now, no.”

“So, what are you trying to tell me? Are you leaving me?”

Troy stared into Kale’s green eyes and nearly became hypnotized by their beauty. Her beautiful, but sad eyes replied before she did.

“Unfortunately,” she barely confirmed. “Pit has just built a home for him and his family, and he wants me to move in with them until he builds us one of our own.”

Now it was Troy’s turn to pout.

“I can’t lie, I’m gonna miss you. But it ain’t like I didn’t know this was coming. You were already spending most of your nights over with him anyhow. I’ll be okay.”

“I don’t want you to have to break the lease, so I’ll give you my half for the next three months and help you find something else, if you need me to.”

“How soon are you leaving me?”

“The end of the week.”

“The end of the week?!” Troy repeated.

“Pit wanted me in there tonight, but I told him I needed more time to spend with you before we part.”

“I’m sad, but I’m also happy for you. Pit is a great guy. He truly loves you and is ready to give his all to you. I believe you should let him. A man like Pit is hard to come by. Women would kill to have a man like him. Hell, some men would too. I know I would,” Troy half jokingly admitted.

“Yeah, I told myself I was going to trust him and allow myself to love and be loved by him completely.”

“I’m glad. You deserve this happiness. Both of you do. And don’t worry about the rent money or the lease. I actually like this apartment, and I think I will keep it once you’re gone. I have a few sugar daddies that wouldn’t mind paying rent and all my bills.”

“I bet you do. You’re such a whore.”

“Chile, you have no idea!”

Troy leaned over and pushed Kale back on the bed. He pushed her legs up behind her ears. He kneeled in between her legs and started to grind on her.

“Girl, you wouldn’t be able to handle all of this. I would have you so sprung.”

“Troy, stop you freak!” Kale yelled. “You’re starting to turn me on.”

They both started to laugh.

“You dirty little whore. You know you love it,” Troy teased as he rose up off of Kale and finished getting dressed. “I’m really gonna miss you, Baby Doll. I’ll probably cry when you leave.”

Kale became sad all over again.

“I know. I’m gonna miss you too. I’ll come by and visit so much, it’ll be like I never left.”

Just then October walks in.

"Ya'll tramps so busy fooling around that you did not even hear me banging down the front door. Ya'll better learn how to keep it locked. I could have easily ran up in here and murked the two of you."

"That's your horny friend, Kale. Can you believe she was in here trying to take advantage of me?" Troy looked over at Kale and gave her a wink and a smirk.

October responded, "I actually can believe that. And I don't blame her. I'd be trying to take advantage of your sexy ass too."

They all laughed as October walked towards both of her friends giving them both kisses and hugs.

"You're out of class early," Kale said as she noticed what time of day it was.

"Yeah, I know. Class was cancelled, so I decided to come by here and see if you guys wanted to go grab something to eat together," October offered.

Kale rose up from off of Troy's bed. "Hell yeah, I know I do. I'm starving."

"You know I would love to join you two, but I have plans," Troy declined the offer.

"With whom?" Kale asked with a frown.

"What kind of plans?" October asked, all in Troy's business.

"With none of your business," Troy stated as he sprayed himself with his cologne and grabbed his keys from off of his dresser.

"Oh, so it's like that now? You keeping secrets from us now?" Kale asked with a hint of true disappointment in her words and expression.

"I know, Troy. I thought we were better than that," October added.

"We are. Trust me. It's still very fresh and I'm not even sure if he is deserving enough to talk about just yet. But in due time, Baby Dolls. But until then, I have to keep this one to myself. I'm out."

Troy gave Kale and October a kiss on the cheek and quickly made his exit. He had no desire to share any of his most recent private affairs with the two of them. Even though he loved and adored October and Kale to pieces, he was not ready to disclose this piece of information to the two of them. Besides, he was slightly embarrassed by the possible betrayal connected to his new love interest.

October looked over to Kale as the baffled expression still clung to her face.

"I can't believe he is seriously not going to tell us about his new boo. You know we gone have to do some digging, right?"

"We sure are! That sneaky lil fucka know better than to leave us in the dark like that," Kale agreed.

"Maybe he deserves to have some kind of privacy, but I'm too nosey. I want to know who it is. And you know it must be someone we know, because if it wasn't he wouldn't even care," October declared.

"I agree. My feelings are slightly hurt. He's acting like he can't trust us enough to tell us. Talking about the guy isn't deserving enough yet. Sounds as if he don't think we're deserving enough of the information. Maybe the guy is ugly as fuck and he is too embarrassed to tell us."

They both burst out laughing at Kale's theory.

"What if it's that ugly dude from our Economics class? You know he claims he's straight, but he stays watching Troy. Maybe he finally made his move," October guessed.

"Nah, I don't think Troy would fuck with his ugly, nerdy looking ass. You know Troy likes men with money. Dude don't look broke, but he don't seem paid either. He is definitely not Troy's type," Kale stated.

"Yeah, you're right. Whoever this mystery guy is, you know we are going to find out soon. He gone end up telling us. You ready to go?" October asked ready to get some food into her growling stomach.

"Yeah, girl come on."

Kale grabbed her phone, purse, and keys and they headed out the door.

October, Troy, and Kale attended Lamar University together. They met two years ago during freshmen orientation when Troy and October were freshmen. They wound up in the same Business Law class and made an instant connection. Kale later introduced them to her twin sister, Sanayah, and October introduced them all to her best friends Azylae and Denver. Immediately, they bonded and became what they later called themselves The Six Pack.

*********************************************************

Troy threw his head back in bliss. He sank into surrender as his secret lover sucked all the soul out of his dick. His jaws were so tight and his mouth was so wet. Troy was ready to explode.

"Ahhh, fuck I'm about to nut!" he cried out.

To his surprise, his lover did not pull back to avoid getting cum in his mouth. Instead, he sucked harder and faster. When Troy tensed up and could not hold out any longer, he released his sweet thickness inside of the guy's mouth and he accepted it all with pleasure. Troy looked down and met his eyes and all he could do was whisper, "Wow!" The guy smiled after swallowing all of Troy's cum and rose. Troy was so turned on that he wasted no time bending him over and inserting him, giving him the fuck of his life. He knew that this guy was off limits and that he should not even be here with him in this moment doing what he was doing, but he could not help it. That very reason made him want it more. He slightly felt bad about keeping his friends in the dark, especially his best friend Kale. But he knew that right now would not be a good time to let her know. He pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind as he threw his thrusts deeper and deeper. Right now, the only thing he wanted to think about was this moment of pleasure.
