On the way to the Di’Maggio residence, Nicolette couldn’t stop thinking what the hell was she getting herself into. Was this was she really wanted? Pfft, whom was she kidding? She’d been wanting for this day to come since she was a little girl. Matthew Di’Maggio was her ideal type; shoot, her only type. She tried dating the opposite of him just to forget about him, but that didn’t work. The first time she came close to kissing him was when her first boyfriend, Charlie, broke her heart. She was a high school sophomore and Charlie was a junior. He only wanted one thing and he almost went to extreme measures to get it. Nicolette had come home crying. No one was there so she went to go find Matty. When she did, she hugged him until she could cry no more. Then he was close to her face, right about to kiss her and he just stopped. That memory wasn’t something Nicolette should go back to because it just made her more curious about how his lips tasted.

“Nico?” Matty called as they pulled up to the Di’Maggio home.

“Yes?”

“Before we go in, I want to ask you this again.... Are you sure?”

“Oh God,” she huffed. “Yes, I’m sure. I’m okay with the whole arranged marriage thing. I won’t die from it, plus if it gives your grandma some happiness before… you know…. then I’d do it in a heartbeat. Why? Having second thoughts,
baby
?”

If Nicolette didn’t stop calling Matty baby, he wouldn’t be able to stay around her. Everything about her turned him on, even the way she drove her car. How sickening was that? The way her nose crinkled when she was mad, the way she talked quick when she was nervous, the way she said his name; it all turned him on.

“Matty?” Nicolette tried to get his attention.

He was still wrapped in thoughts of her, imagining her lips on his. “Just like that,” came out of his lips in a dreamlike croon.

Confused, Nico crunched her nose, asking, “What?”

Oh, crap!
“Oh nothing, nothing. No second thought here, plus like I said, everything’s the same. The rest of the rules will have to be made as we go along.”

“Okay, but Matty, do we have to sleep together in the same bed?”

“Yes.”

“But Matty…”

“Nicolette, please! Why are we arguing about a simple bed arrangement? You’re the one that said we can’t and won’t cheat on each other and we will be living in the same house, sharing everything, doing everything around each other. The least we can do is share the same bed. Stop being a child now.”

“Matthew, I’m not being a child, I’m just simply trying to understand your meaning of sharing the same bed. Are we just sleeping
on
the same bed?”

“I mean…” He left the rest to her imagination.

What Matty didn’t know, what Nicolette refused to say out loud, was that she was a virgin, and she decided to wait until she was married to lose it.

“I will do no such thing, Matty! Now let’s go!”

Matthew bolted out of the car and onto Nicolette’s side, opening the door for her and escorting her out. Nicolette slammed her car door and when she turned around, Matty was way too close in her face for her taste. This man was surely trouble; Nicolette couldn’t help but stare at his lips. It’s as if she were in a trance. At that moment, Nicolette would do anything that Matty asked her.

Matty didn’t understand why the attraction was so strong; he was so sure that Nicolette didn’t find him attractive. But right now, pressed against her on the car, it was amazing. He couldn’t be anywhere else in the world. The way her petite body felt perfect with his; he didn’t intend to pin her to the door. He only wanted her to agree to let him be next to her when they slept. He just wanted to hold her for the time that they would spend together. He had no clue how long that would be, but he would take full advantage to be with her 24/7. He used this method to get whatever he wanted from previous women but with Nicolette, it felt like she was seducing him. She didn’t even have to say anything. The intense look in her eyes, the way she focused on his lips moving; he loved that he could watch her react like that because of him. Oh man, when she licked her lips it drove him close to the edge. He was trying so hard not to kiss her, not to taste her skin. The perfume that she had on smelled so great, it was so intoxicating.

“Nico.”

“Matty, stop,” she said.

“Nicolette.”

“Matthew.”

“We need to get inside, so let’s go.”

“We can’t. Your whole body has me pinned to the car.”

“I like it, don’t you, Nico?” he asked.

The way he was looking at Nicolette right now, she felt she could just burst; Nicolette knew that Matty was just messing with her, but she couldn’t help but fall for him. Oh, man. Now Matty would know that she was head over heels in love with him.

“Stop, Matty.”

“Stop?”

“Yes, stop.”

“Nico… Same room, same bed.”

“Yes.” This time, she didn’t even hesitate to answer. Nicolette thought about how pathetic she looked.

“Yes what?”

“Same bed, same room.”

“You feel that, Nico?” Nicolette stared at Matty in disbelief of what she was feeling from him. It was attraction. Finally, he was looking at her as more than Tommy’s little sister.

“Yes, Matty, it’s so strong.”

Matty decided to let her know that he was attracted to her and from her reaction, she was attracted to him as well. Though he knew that his feelings for her were much stronger than mere physical attraction, at this point, he would take what he could get. He made this decision in the car while they were discussing their living situation, when she agreed to share the same bed with him. Even if it was just for sleeping, he wanted to feel her body right next to him. He planned the coax the rest from her in due time.

“Hmmm. It’s our attraction to each other, so don’t fight it, baby.”

The moment that Matty called Nicolette baby, she couldn’t help but melt. What the hell was going on here? Matty was teasing her, talking not even two inches away from her lips. This was pure torture. Nicolette couldn’t hold it in anymore, she had to taste his lips, she just had to. Without thinking, Nicolette leaned in and kissed him hard for what seemed like eternity. It was a surprise to her that Matty kissed her back. They were so into each other at that moment. They couldn’t understand what was going on. They just couldn’t get enough of each other.

Matty was happy that Nicolette had made the first move; it meant that she wanted him just as much, but if he kept kissing her then he wouldn’t be able to hold himself back. Nicolette didn’t mean to but she moaned and that about did it for Matty. He had to let go or else he’d end up wanting way more than Nicolette was bargaining for at the moment.

“We have to go in, Nico.” He finally stepped back and gave Nicolette space. It took her about a minute to pull herself together from that kiss. Even if she wasn’t really sure how strong his feelings were for her, that kiss was worth it because she finally got to taste Matthew Di’Maggio's lips. She felt bad about taking advantage of him though, so she felt obligated to apologize.

“Matty, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry.” The effects from the kiss left her breath still choppy, her words barely escaping her lips in result.

“For what?”

“I shouldn’t have taken advantage of you.”

“Advantage?” Matty laughed all the way to the front door of his parents’ huge house. Nicolette didn’t find anything amusing but maybe Matty was laughing at how Nicolette was apologizing for something they both liked. Thank God that the lipstick didn’t smudge all over.

“What’s so funny, Matty?” she asked.

“Nico, I’m like a foot and a half taller than you so there was no advantage being taken there.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, Nico and before we go in, I just want to say… I liked that kiss.”

Nicolette was left speechless at the door. She didn’t know whether to jump for joy or dance. God, was he serious right now? She felt so proud of herself, but then a thought popped up in her head; what was she supposed to do after this? Obviously he was sexually attracted to her, but it was more than that for her. How was she supposed to handle being married to Matty with all this tension?

Nicolette didn’t realize that she was the only one left at the front door. She was still in a daze and it was funny to Gabriel as he stood there watching her. She looked funny; he just knew that his brother had finally said something or gave some hint that he liked her.

“Nico!” She was still in such a trance that she didn’t hear Gabe calling her. “Nico!”

“What? What, Gabriel? Why are you yelling?”

“Want to step in the house? That way I can close the door?”

“Yeah sure... Like my dress?”

When Gabriel looked at Nicolette, even he was mesmerized. He knew that she had an amazing body, but she looked exquisite today. If she wasn’t so head over heels in love with Matty, he’d try and make her his, but he knew that would never happen. Gabriel couldn’t help but study her curves from head to toe as she turned in a circle so that he could view the whole dress. The leopard print dress was so beautiful on her. It was strapless and today she wore red lipstick. Gabriel simply shook his head at the thought that his brother was crazy enough not to make her his by now. But he was hopeful that Matty was working on it.

“Well?” she asked.

“Nic, you look so beautiful. Can I make you mine?”

Haha
,” she smirked. “You’re so dumb, Gabe.”

Gabriel tried his best to keep his eyes to himself but with Nicolette walking in front of him like that, it was impossible. The way she walked was pure seduction. This little creature in front of him didn’t know the power she possessed when it came to men.

None of the Di’Maggio brothers dressed up for any get together unless they had to. Gabriel wore black fitted jeans, a white T-shirt that hugged his body and showed off his sleeve tattoos, black Tom’s, and black diamond earrings. He was the only one with both his ears pierced; he had double piercings in both. Gabriel was about the same height as Michael and Tommy, and compared to his two older brothers, he was the smallest in body size but still a bit larger than Tommy. He had a slim, athletic body, and a head full of black hair reaching his shoulders like a replica of his older brother, Matty. Matty’s hair was curlier than Gabe's. Gabriel was blessed with perfect dimples too, a strong jawline, facial hair like Matty, perfect deep-blue sea eyes, and he wore glasses too. The three Di’Maggio brothers looked alike, but Matty and Gabriel looked more like their mom and Michael was a replica of his dad. Michael had short black hair and blue eyes. He didn’t wear glasses and was always clean cut. Michael and Gabriel both stood at 6’2” like Tommy. Gabriel was definitely the only one with tattoos as far as Nicolette knew.

Nicolette made her way through the grand foyer with Gabriel behind her. Michael met them at the grand double staircase, and Nicolette thought that he looked amazing for a twenty-seven-year-old man. He was wearing dark-blue fitted jeans, a navy polo sweater over a white dress shirt with navy blue Tom’s. He had a bigger build than Gabriel and his sweater hugged his biceps with defined detail. Every one of the Di’Maggio boys were blessed with looks, brains, and bodies, but Nicolette thought that Gabriel must have been dropped on his head more than enough times, especially with the double piercings and the sleeve tattoos, which he’d dragged Nicolette to watch as he got them.

Then she looked up at where Michael was standing at the grand staircase waiting for them with a big smile on his face.

“Hi, Mikey,” Nico greeted. “Aren’t you lucky? You get to see me two days in a row.”

“Aha, yes, Nico. Merry Christmas.”

“Merry Christmas. I hope you have my present.”

“Yeah, I do...in my old room, want to come get it?”

Nicolette couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Michael was the one with the most perverted jokes. Even though he seemed like the serious one, he was always the one to make every comment sexual or just plain old dirty.

“You’re such an idiot. As if I’d fall for that.”

He smirked devilishly. “When you were younger, you almost fell for the candy that was mysteriously in my pants.”

“Oh my God, Michael, do not remind me. I was so stupid.”

Michael couldn’t help but laugh at the memory of Nicolette almost falling for his joke. He was going to flash her just because he felt like it, but she caught on and escaped his room faster than a lightning bolt.

Michael’s laughter was rich just like his voice, and Nicolette couldn’t help but laugh with him. He just made everything so funny, even if he wasn’t trying to be funny.

“Are you guys coming to the living room or staying here to talk about Michael’s little wiener?” Matty asked.

“Oh wow, Matt! Are you jealous?”

“Yeah right, Mike.”

“Nic, he is just mad you weren’t as interested to see his as you were mine.”

“Oh God, I’m out of here,” Nico replied. “You guys are such pervs.”

Mikey chuckled, “Well, you look really nice today, Nic.”

“Thank you, Mikey.”

“You’re welcome! So how about that date?”
