“Oh fuck!” We moaned in unison.

She felt damn good wrapped around me like this. She fit, perfectly. After a few more minutes of thrusting, deep and hard, I pulled out. Flipping her over to her hands and knees, I thrust right back inside of her. Several moments passed as I thrust hard, deep, and slow, I lean over her.

“You ready to see what this piercing can do?” I asked then bit her shoulder.

“Oh, God, yes!” She moaned.

Pulling her up off her hands and into my chest, her legs on either side of mine, Kristy was almost seated in my lap. My thrusts were deeper, she began to squirm in my arms. Her arms wrapped around my neck as she began to thrust back into me, arching her back a little. My hands squeezed and teased her breasts.

“Nathan, I’m going to…” She tossed her head back into my shoulder and began to clamp hard around my dick.

That was all it took, I was flying right into my own ecstasy with her. I pounded into her harder and faster. Her moans of pleasure and delight spurring my release on and on. After what seemed like ages, we collapsed to the bed, panting and exhausted.

Turning my head, I looked at Kristy lying next to me. I smiled. “Now
that
was a birthday present.”

“It’s your birthday?”

“Yup. Thank you for making it the best one in a very long time,” I mumble sleepily. “Feel free to stay the night. Just need a little nap and we can go again.”

My eyes were already closing and before I knew it, I’d fallen asleep. Tonight something changed for me. I’m not sure what it was, but it had.

Vacation was a damn fine thing.

Chapter Three

Kristy

Laying there watching his chest rise and fall, I began to think about what I was about to do. Never in my life have I ever been so drawn to someone. But damn if I wasn’t being pulled to him by some invisible strings that held tightly around me.

My head kept telling me it was his birthday. I couldn’t do this to him on his birthday, but I had no choice. It’s not like I’ll ever see him again after tonight. Carefully, I moved out of the bed. Unable to leave him, like some whore, I walked to his desk and pulled out the notepads they always leave in there, quickly scribbled out a message to him and left it on the pillow next to his head.

I stood next to our piles of clothes, pulling on my dress, I took a deep breath and reached into the pocket of his pants. Searching through his wallet until I found what it was I was looking for. Placing his pants down where they were, I walked over to the safe and punched in the numbers listed on the paper.

The beep from the safe filled the room and Nathan stirred on the bed. My heart was hammering so hard in my chest that you’d swear there was a herd of elephants running in here. Or at least that is what it sounded like to my ears. When he didn’t do anything more than stir, I opened the safe and found his real wallet inside. It was a common practice among the ritzy tourists that came here. They had default wallets so if they were ever stolen, they didn’t lose much of anything. It was smart unless you have a woman that knows all about this and also knows that the codes for these safes are so long that it made writing them down necessary.

Sifting through it, I pulled out what I needed and put the rest back. It wasn’t before I saw a picture of a woman in with his cash. I know who she is. I may not have television, but she’s known around the world by billions of people. It’s no wonder he’d have a picture of her. Most men do. However, as I looked at this picture, it was different. Turning I looked at him as he laid gloriously naked on his back, snoring away, he loved
Songbird
.

Looking back at the picture, she’s smiling with another woman that kind of looks like her, so I can only assume it was her sister. She is in regular clothes and looks to be sitting on a very old swing set. She’s beautiful, but Nathan could do so much better. Anger coursing through me at the woman that has obviously hurt Nathan, I ripped the picture into several pieces and tossed it into the safe with everything else.

Closing the door, the lock clicked, and then another echoing beep filled the room. Standing, I walked back through the bedroom and toward the door. Looking back at him, then down at the five hundred dollars I held in my hands, my stomach flipped.

“I’m sorry, Nathan. I’m so sorry. Please forgive me,” I whispered before walking out of the room.

As the door clicked shut behind me, my chest tightened. It was not only letting me know I can’t go back in, but it was also telling me that I’ve just stolen from a man that just from one look at him was more than a ‘sleep with a common whore’ kind of guy. He enjoyed women, yes, that was easy to see by his actions tonight, but it was more than that. Nathan gave off a sense of never taking a woman for granted.

His eyes told his story. He was hurting over that woman. She did some kind of number on him too from the look in his eyes when he looked at me. No doubt comparing me to her. I’m not a stupid woman. Just because I dropped out of school in year eight, didn't make me stupid, in fact I’m the opposite actually.

In fact, leaving my home was probably the smartest thing I’d ever done. No one can tell I’ve not graduated school or even gone on to university. When I was in year four, my teachers sent letters and documentation home with me that I was literally a genius. They wanted me to be challenged more, to be with kids with the same intelligence. It was even suggested that I change schools where I would be able to excel more as my school didn't have the facilities. My parents never looked at them. My life could have been so different from what it is now had they taken just the slightest bit of interest in my life.

Nathan, though, he was an open book versus my closed off self. He tries to give the illusion of being closed off and secretive, but he’s not. Anything you want to know is right there in his eyes. Maybe it was because he was drinking that he was so easy to read? Even so, I still think his eyes would tell you anything you want to know. A window to the soul and all that shit.

The elevator dinged and opened the minute I pressed the button. My body was relaxed. In all my years, that was the most pleasurable experience I’ve had in, well ever really. A smile spread across my face. I knew I had a good reason to be infatuated with the
Prince Albert
piercing. He definitely knew how to work it too. Damn that experience was something else. Everything in me wanted to experience more of what he had to offer, but knowing what I was going to do, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Taking a deep breath, I walked out of the hotel and over to the shop that helped me look nice. The lady was still there and eager to know how it went.

“We really hit it off,” I answered lamely.

“I can tell by your hair, but that’s not a good enough answer,” she smiled.

“Well, I’d love to tell you sometime, but he’s waiting for me, just came to get my stuff.”

“Oh, I’m so happy to see love being found these days. You don’t see it often. Take care of yourself.”

Grabbing my bag, I changed out of my dress and into my ‘street’ clothes, then headed out and back to my apartment. As I walked toward the train, I knew that I needed to do something with my life. Something better, something important. My motivation for many of the years I was on the run was that I was going to make something of myself that would make my family wish they’d been different towards me. So far, I’m not even close to doing that.

Hell, I lived in a shit hole and I just stole from a good guy to keep that God forsaken shit hole. What the hell have I become? The sad part is that is only just a stem of the unbelievable things I have done since running away. Sometimes I had to remind myself that dirt doesn’t get things given to it but taken from it.

A plant may be planted in the ground, but it takes from the earth the needed nutrition to make it thrive and grow. In the end the ground is left depleted and void. So to say that I’m dirt would be an accurate assumption on my part.

The train ride is always a scary thing for me. Not because of the train, but the close proximity of the people. I’m okay in small groups, but when there is this many people bumping shoulder to shoulder like this it’s hard to not want to freak out a bit. Grateful when the ride was over, I practically ran off the train and out to the street. Finally able to breathe a sigh of relief, I headed toward my apartment. Stopping at one of my favorite take away places, I grabbed a small bite for dinner, and then walked the rest of the way to the shit hole I called home.

Sure enough, standing next to my door checking his watch was the slum lord. He looked up when he heard me sigh. His face went to that ‘I’m evil, but you just don’t know how evil I am’ look.

“You gets me money?”

“Yes, thankfully I was able to. What’s rent going to be next month so I don’t run into this again?”

“Rent never changes,” he says as he sniffs the money I’ve handed to him.

“But it never stays the same,” I mumbled.

“What?”

“Nothing, just thinking about something. Have a good night.”

Walking inside, I locked the door and flipped the three chains into place. Then I moved the chair and wedged it under the knob. It was a trick I learned long ago when staying at shelters that would help keep unwanted guests out of the room.
Been there, done that, got the fucking T-shirt.

Carrying my food into my bedroom, I shut the door, put the chains in place and wedged the chair under the door. My room was the safest of the rooms because the window was boarded up with a building practically up against it.

Sitting Indian style on the bed, I began to eat my food. The guilt of what I’ve just done was eating me alive, but I told myself that anyone would do that if they were in my shoes. Keeping a roof over my head and food in my stomach meant doing things I wouldn’t normally do. It pushed me into the darkness sometimes. Nathan obviously had money not only due to the fact that he carried that much in our currency, but because he was staying in the swankiest hotel here. He probably wouldn’t even notice it was missing. Hell, he probably wouldn’t even remember me.

He may not remember me, but I’ll remember him.

My body still hummed from what I shared with Nathan. It was more than a moment. There was a feeling there, but I’m not sure what it was. Whatever it was, I hadn’t felt that from any other guy. It was a wonderful feeling. It’s just overwhelming and surreal this alien feeling.

Just as I had finished my food, there was a lot of banging on my door. My heart stopped, and then started pounding. Without even having to go to the door, I knew it was Vin. He wouldn’t go away either. Leaving my trash on my bed, I grabbed my bag and pushed it through the hole in the wall. Climbing in after, I pulled the dresser down as best as I could. It was empty and made of paper (not seriously, but it was a piece of crap and rather easy to move around). The hole led to a cupboard in the kitchen. If he went into my bedroom, I’d be able to sneak out before he could catch me.

The banging continued before I heard the splintering of the wood door. Soon I heard his heavy footsteps as they came in the kitchen first. As they trailed off, I poked my head out, looked to see if anyone was out there.

“Kristy! I’ll break this door down too. Open the fucking door!”

Quietly, I put my bag on my back and ran for the door. Getting out of the apartment was easy. However, it was his muscled goons that waited outside that I wasn’t sure how I’d get away. But then like some kind of miracle some girls walked past and grabbed their attention. Opening the door, I bolted.

“Hey!”

“Stop!”

They yelled from behind me, but I kept running. My heart hummed in my ears and yet again for the second time today I’m running through the streets to escape a past I thought I’d left behind me. Quickly tossing a look over my shoulder, I saw not the goon squad hot on my heels, but Vin himself.

Fuck!

The bad part about this time of night was that I didn’t have the tourists to hide amongst. It was late. The only place a lot of people would be at would be the bars.

Shit, that’s it!

Pushing myself to run as fast as I could, I dodged the few people that were on the streets. Turning corners and running across streets, it was getting harder to breath, but there was no way I was stopping for a breath. Hell, at this point I wasn’t even taking a second to look over my shoulder. My mind kept telling me that if I was still running, then he hadn’t caught me yet. Logical thought with the nightmare I was currently running from.

Just as I turned the corner right in front of the bar, I smashed into someone again. This time I hit them with such force that I not only fell to the ground, but I took them down with me. Skidding passed them, I scrape up my hands and arms. Turning around, I watch as the guy starts to right himself. Just as I was about to apologize, I saw that it was the same guy from earlier today.

“Karma, what a bitch,” I hissed at him as I hauled myself up off the ground and hurried inside to the bar.

Quickly, I hurried into the back and put my bag in the office. Just as I was coming out of the office, Stephen came around the corner about running into me.

“Shit, are you okay?”

“I’m fine. Seems it’s a run into Kristy kind of day,” I mumble.

You’re dirt, everyone is supposed to walk on you,
the voice in my head reminded me.

“You’re not scheduled today, are you?”

“No, but I could really use the extra hours.”

“Now Kristy, you know…”

“Please, Stephen. I really need these hours,” my nerves were stretched thin and I was on the verge of breaking down.

“Fine, Kali needed some time off. You’ve got this week, but that means you will be off next week.”

“That’s fine. Thank you so much!” I hugged him in my excitement before going to the employee bathroom and freshening up.
