Both teenagers must fight the demons of their past and learn to live in the present. Can they become friends, or will their lack of trust in each other lead to more heartache?

Brothers & Best Friends

Eighteen-year-old Janine Bradley is shy, naïve, virginal, and has a big problem. Jess is a tall, dark, and handsome college student studying in New York City. He is outgoing, promiscuous, and shocked to see Janine on his doorstep after three years of no communication. Struggling to understand why his best friend’s kid sister decided to come to him for help, Jess finds himself seeing the girl who once followed him around relentlessly in a different light.

Unfortunately, fairytale endings don’t happen so quickly. Janine still needs to deal with her overbearing mother, protective brother, and all the inner demons that come along with her problem. Things get even messier when an acquaintance of the two inserts himself into the equation.

Will Janine grow up and find solutions to her problems in time to have the life she always dreamed of, or will she continue to turn the other cheek as people push her around and make her decisions for her?
