He crossed the room so fast, he didn’t even recall taking a step, but in the next instant he was on that bed gripping her thighs and kneeling between the vee of her spread legs.  She gasped when he started to push his way inside of her, the thick mushroom of head of his cock, forcing her tight channel open as if he was breaking her in for the first time. The velvety soft, hot wetness of her cunt slowly surrounding him, sucking him in deeper and deeper drew a harsh groan from him.  Khalil had no choice but to close his eyes as he fed her his dick or else he wouldn’t make it fully inside of her before he nutted.

After what seemed like hours of unending, pleasurable torture he bottomed out inside her.  He wanted to hold himself still for just a moment and gather himself, but Sabeen was impatient as she rocked her hips and dug her fingers into his back.  With an inward smile he reprimanded himself for not at least binding her wrists—next time he wouldn’t forget.

He called her name, desperately trying to still her wanton movements as he pinned her to the bed with his large frame, but he was too far gone for it to matter.  He could feel the distinct tingling at the base of his spine, which left him no choice but to give her exactly what they both wanted.

Pulling all the way out of her, he slammed back into her, over and over again, until she was writhing and screaming beneath him.

“Khalil,” she called out on a winded breath, as she curled her nails deeper into his back.  With her hips surging off the bed, she met his every stroke, taking him just as deep and hard as he was taking her.

Unable to maintain any semblance of composure, he stretched out atop her, reached beneath her body to grab her ass and pounded into her for all he was worth.

“Fuck, Nala, I’m about to come,” he managed to get out before they both splintered apart in each other’s arms.  With blood pounding in his ears, he vaguely heard her scream his name at the same time her pussy clamped down around him, drenching him with her release.  With him buried balls deep inside her, he let out a lewd curse as his cock exploded and he shot his seed deep inside her womb.  He erupted inside her for a long while, until their combined juices eventually spilled out beneath them to stain the bed.

Neither of them seemed to notice or even care as their uneven breaths slowly returned to normal.

When Khalil finally regained himself he slipped out of her and rolled over onto his back, bringing her with him until she lay draped across his body. He held her to him while she drew invisible patterns across his chest with her index finger.

“You know you’re the only one who has ever dared to continue calling me that,” she whispered in the stillness. “I used to hate that you did it, even more so after I told you to stop and you wouldn’t.”  She lifted her head to look him square in the eyes.  “Thank you for not listening to me.”

He returned the intensity of her gaze, as he lifted his hand to brush aside the cascade of curls that had fallen over her shoulder.

“You will always be my beloved—in this life and the next.  Just as you were your mother’s. It didn’t seem right to call you anything else, not when that had been what I’d always called you.” He smiled ruefully then.  “Although to be honest, I didn’t continue calling you Nala just to piss you off.  I actually do try to use Sabeen but when we’re alone…” He let his voice trail off because she understood.  Whenever it was just the two of them together, and especially when they were alone like this, sharing a special, intimate moment, he just always found himself using her nickname because it had always just felt right.

The world could call her Sabeen, but to him she had always been, and would always be his Nala—his beloved.

Epilogue

Because Daniella and Amir had been married in a quiet, private ceremony in the States, Ayesha al-Durhan had made not so subtle hints to her eldest that she expected a wedding reception to be held in Sharjah—and
before
her first grandchild was born.  That didn’t leave the couple much time to work with, which I knew was why my godmother added that stipulation.  Between Daniella’s research and teaching obligations at the university, and Amir working on reorganizing the government, they both had been relieved to turn over the planning and preparations to Ayesha.

I knew Amir and Daniella to both be rather private people, so to say they were stunned by the hundreds of guests in attendance at their wedding reception, was an understatement.  Ayesha had flown in what seemed like all of Daniella’s family, and despite having just attended my wedding to Khalil, dignitaries
returned
to Sharjah to celebrate another union because they did not want to cross the indomitable Ayesha al-Durhan by missing such a momentous occasion.

Reminiscent of my own wedding a few months ago, I sat on the dais watching the guests as they crowded the dance floor.  This time was much different; however, since I was actually enjoying myself I thought with a small smile.

“If you’re tired, we can give Amir and Daniella our best and leave. They will understand.”  The smile I’d just worn was instantly replaced by a frown as I let out a long-suffering sigh. I loved my husband. I truly did, but since that night in the desert when after we’d made love, I’d told him I was pregnant, he’d been hovering worse than a helicopter mom.  It was endearing.  And for those who knew we were expecting, they found a great deal of amusement in his actions.  I would be the first to admit that sometimes I found Khalil’s antics laughable, but unfortunately this wasn’t one of those times.

I looked at him squarely.  “You need to go dance.”

“I don’t want to leave you—

“Then go get a drink.”

He stood immediately.  “Why didn’t you say you were thirsty—”

“Because I’m not.  Go get
yourself
a drink, a stiff one, with lots of alcohol and when you’re feeling relaxed then go dance.”

He frowned until a sheepish grin spread across his face.  “I’m hovering again.”

I couldn’t stop the laugh that tumbled out until he leaned down to place a quick kiss against my lips.

“I’m fine,” I replied with a smile. “And I’m enjoying myself, but if that changes or I do get tired, you will be the first to know. Now go have a good time.” I motioned my hands to shoo him away.

“Okay, okay, I’m going,” he grinned as he held his hands up in surrender.  He leaned down to kiss me one more time.  “I love you.”

“I know,” I said with a wink.  “Now shoo.”

I could tell he still wasn’t quite sure if he wanted to leave my side, but the stern look I gave him finally did the trick and I watched him leave the dais and join the revelers where surprise surprise he was immediately surrounded by a crowd of women.  I shook my head and smiled thinking had this been six months ago I would have been filled with jealousy, but Khalil’s devotion had put all of those feelings to rest.

Even now as he danced among the throng of people, he would periodically glance my way. I’d eventually come to recognize the truth of others’ words when they said Khalil rarely took his eyes off me.  I would like to think the same was true of me regarding him.

It was because of this deep connection we shared, that even when we were several yards apart, our gazes always searched for one another, that I came to notice when others in love did the same thing—like Daniella and Amir, and Ayesha and Amir’s father, Nadir.  That’s probably why I easily recognized the furtive glances Malik kept sending one woman’s way—Joselyn MacGregor, Daniella’s cousin, who was just a year or two older than her.

I knew she and Daniella were very close and I’d even talked with her several times since she’d arrived earlier in the week, before most of the other guests, so I’d learned that Joselyn was a former Commander in the U.S. Navy who now headed up a special operations task force for the DIA in the gulf region.  At one point she’d been married to a U.S. Navy fighter pilot but after he’d died she’d become a single mom to their daughter, Brooklyn who was now a sophomore in college.

Joselyn was a beautiful woman, so I could easily see why Malik was interested, but from the cold shoulder she was giving him, Joselyn did not appear as if the interest was mutual. I knew a man as handsome and arrogant as Malik would not appreciate being ignored by the opposite sex, but from the intensity of his gazes, which had now turned into glares, I suspected this wasn’t the first time those two had met, and from the way Malik kept glowering at Joselyn I was certain he would make sure this wouldn’t be the last time either.

Interesting.

Captive of the Sheikh: The Men of Sharjah, Book 3

The Sheikhs of Sharjah…

Arrogant, wealthy, and dominant, the Sheikhs of Sharjah will stop at nothing to get what they desire, especially when it comes to claiming their women.

Captive of the Sheikh

In just thirty-eight years, Joselyn MacGregor feels as if she has seen and done it all.  Married and a mother by eighteen, widowed just four years later.  She struggled to put herself through college and then law school, raise her daughter, and climb the ladder of success as an officer in the Navy.  Between all of that she had no time for men or relationships, but now that her daughter is in college and she’s retired from the military, she decides maybe it’s about time for her to change that.

While attending intelligence training in Abu Dhabi, Joselyn is surprised to find herself drawn to one of the instructors, especially since he’s none other than Malik al-Aziz, the wealthy, playboy, hotshot intelligence officer and pilot in Sharjah’s Air Force.  Known as much for his sexual conquests on his off time as he is for his accolades in the service, Joselyn thinks it’s a perfect idea to reenter the dating waters by first having a purely sexual, one night stand, and who better than with the notorious womanizer, Malik.

Malik al-Aziz is good at his job and not ready to settle down, nobody can blame him for that.  And despite his reputation, he’s never once left a broken-heart in his wake, because he’s always been careful to keep company with women who are of like mind.  So when Joselyn gives him the same line he’s given women all these years—sex with no strings—he doesn’t hesitate to agree.  After all, he’s had his eye on the voluptuous, chocolate beauty since the day they arrived in Abu Dhabi.  But after a long, unending night of the best sex they both admit they’ve ever experienced, he doesn’t expect to wake up in an empty bed, with not even so much as a note.  Malik tells himself he’s cool with everything, until he sees Joselyn a few months later and they share another memorable, passionate night.  But the morning after, even though she sticks around this time, Joselyn’s adamant—she’s not interested in anything more than sex from him.  As much as he knows she’s wrong about him, and despite that his dominant nature demands that he claim the only woman who has ever made him want to give up all the others, Malik has no choice but to let Joselyn go.

Convincing himself he can live without her, Malik actually believes it until an intelligence operation goes wrong and Joselyn is kidnapped and dragged into the seedy underbelly of Abu Dhabi’s pleasure industry.  Using his connections and influence, Malik enters the dark, twisted world of the playground to the rich, with the intention of bringing Joselyn home safely.  But in order to do that he must first convince those who now hold her prisoner that he is the hedonist dominant they’ve all heard about.  And to save Joselyn’s life he’s going to have to make her his captive submissive—whether she wants to be or not.

Deep within the secret pleasure palaces of Abu Dhabi’s sexual playground, Malik will usher Joselyn into his world of dark, carnal possession—where neither one of them will walk away unscathed.
