“B, you need to take your ass home.”

“I’m not going home. I came here to let loose. I’ve been playing it safe for too long. Now, like I said, let go of my fucking arm before we have major problems in this club.” Bianca gave Tay a look that let him know to back up. Although Tay was as hardcore as they came, he had a soft spot for women and an even softer spot for Bianca. He decided that he’d deal with her later.

As Bianca and Kara walked off, she noticed Q still in the same spot where they were talking. For some strange reason she felt the need to explain the situation to him. She didn’t want him getting the wrong impression. She needed him to understand that she no longer had anything to do with Tay.

“I apologize about that,” Bianca said when she neared Q.

“You good,” he said nonchalantly.

“I know.. It’s just.. Um.. It’s just that.. I’m not with him anymore. He doesn’t get it I guess,” Bianca stumbled on her words. She couldn’t understand why she was explaining to a man that she didn’t even want to be involved with. Nervous energy flowed all throughout her body, and she couldn’t shake the connection that she felt with the gentleman in front of her.

Q could see that she was a nervous wreck, and he thought it was cute. Here she was acting as if she didn’t want anything to do with him, and she couldn’t even look him in his eyes.

“You don’t have to explain to me. It’s all good,” Q said, but inside he was glad that she was explaining the situation to him. Initially, he thought that it was her man, which is why he didn’t bother to get involved. Had he known she wasn’t with him, he would’ve stepped in. He found himself jealous when he saw him walk up. It took everything in him not to break ole boy’s face when he grabbed Bianca’s arm, but he wasn’t the one to get in people business.

“I know. It was nice seeing you again.” Bianca headed back to their booth with Q heavy on her mind. She looked back in his direction once she got to their area, and they both made eye contact. He was looking marvelous. He was swagged to the max, and killing every nigga in the club outfit. He wore a white pair of Givenchy tennis shoes, blue Robin jeans, a custom made shirt by Gucci, and a red white and blue snapback. His dark skinned glistened, and his stance mirrored that of a boss. Bianca was in complete awe. She found herself getting aroused at the sight of him.

The party went on into the night, and ended well after 3 am. The girls gathered their things and exited alone with the other party goers. Just before Bianca reached the car she noticed Q talking to a female with long blonde weave, and ass for days. They were parked only two cars down from one another, so the couple was in plain sight. Bianca simply walked pass without bothering to look up. She felt a twinge of jealousy in her heart.

“What the hell,” she thought to herself. “He is not mine. I do not want him. He can talk to whoever the hell he wants to. Get it together, B.”

“Drive Safe,” the deep voice startled Bianca from her thoughts. It was Q.

Although, he was standing there with Jayla he couldn’t refuse saying something to Bianca. He was sure that she had noticed them, because he could tell from her body language. He didn’t want to see her upset with him about anything, so he felt the need to at least acknowledge her. Just like ole boy in the club. Jayla was a thing of the past for Q. He didn’t want Bianca to leave thinking otherwise.

Jayla looked Bianca up and down and didn’t have one bad word to say about her. She was fly, but not too flashy. Her hair was laid, and she had a really nice shape. However, she could see that look in Q’s eyes that let her know that he liked the girl. This didn’t sit too well with her. Although, they’d been broken up for almost a year, she still felt like he belonged to her. There was no way in hell she was letting anyone change that. Jayla made a mental note to ask Q about them later. It threw her for a loop that he actually said something to the girl. She decided not to let anyone see her sweat, although she was ticked off.

Bianca decided not to respond. She just kept on to the car. The girls were already inside, and they were all ready to roll. Kara, not being able to hold water was the first one to speak.

“Spill the beans bitch. What’s up with you and Mr. Famous?”

The rest of the ride Bianca explained how she and Q had met. The girls were genuinely happy for her, because they could tell that she liked him, but they couldn’t understand why it was that she felt like they couldn’t become friends. The lame excuse that she gave was not good enough for them.
