"I don't know what you're talking about." I play dumb.

"What the fuck ever. All of you guys are always checking Ms. Baker out. Preston just don't care anymore.  How long? Is that why you don't want to be with Sydney? Because of her?" She looks over at the door.

I follow her line of sight and see Brooklyn through the kitchen window. "You can't say anything. Please, Preston can't know," I beg.

"Sydney's my best friend. She has wanted to be with you for awhile, and now I hold the answer to why you won't.  She's too old for you, and Sydney's our age. Give her a chance." I run my hands through my hair.

"I don't like Sydney like that. Don't tell her." I lower myself down on the next lounger.

"I won't, under one condition," she says.

"What?" I panic, nervous about what she's about to ask me.

"Date Sydney and make her happy. I mean, happy, if you know what I mean."  I frown.

"What? No, I can't now. Besides, I don't want to be with Sydney." I glance around the yard, hating that someone knows. I have to just take the chance that she won't tell anyone, although I doubt that she will keep this from Sydney. I hear the door open and close. I look over, and Preston is walking toward us.

"Dude, hitting on my girl?" Preston jokes.

"Nah, man, just hanging. Where ya'll been?" I try to carry on a conversation, but each time I look at Sadie, she has this knowing look now, and I know it's only to pressure me into dating Sydney.

"Lunch and a movie. Should have gotten here sooner." I start to walk toward the back door.

"No big deal. Holler at you in a few." I slip inside. Brooklyn turns to me, and her smile fades as she sees the scowl on face.

Brooklyn

I feel like something is wrong when I see Landon's face. "What's wrong?" I question.

"Sadie knows." He looks up toward the ceiling.

I swallow hard. "What do you mean?"

"I went to fetch your bikini, and she already had it. Asked me if 'I was looking for this?' as she was holding it out to me." He pulls my bikini out from his back pocket.

I begin to panic. "Landon, Preston can't find out."

"I know, babe. I know." He looks out the window as he gets to where I'm standing. He wraps his arms around me, trying to comfort me. "She said that she won't tell anyone under one condition. I don't want to tell you though." He kisses my forehead.

"What condition? Is she blackmailing me?" I'm pissed and nervous all at once.

"Not you. Me. She told me that I had to start dating Sydney. I told her 'no,' that I'm not interested. It's only you I love. So I don't know what to do.  I know we can't let Preston find out. I'm sorry, Brooklyn." We hear commotion, and we both look out the window. Sadie and Preston seem to be arguing. "Fuck, what's that about?"

"He can't know, Landon, please, we have to figure something out," I beg.

"Let me think." Just then, the back door swings open, and Landon steps away from me as Sadie and Preston storm in. Sadie looks over at us with a knowing expression as she walks out the front door, slamming it behind her.  Preston stomps in, heading toward the stairs. "Dude, what happened?" Landon questions, as if wondering if she mentioned anything to him.

"I think she’s fucking cheating on me. She shifted, and I swear I saw a mark on her thigh. I asked her, and she denied it. I got to go cool down." He goes upstairs without another word.

"I need to go talk to him." I start to move around Landon.

"Brooklyn, wait, I think she is too. I saw the hickey on her leg. Just let him cool down, and I'm going to talk to him about her. He can do better." I hug her to me. She automatically wraps her arms around my middle. She feels amazing in my arms.

"Okay, if you think so." I lean back and then press my lips against his. After a second, I back away from him in case Preston comes back down.

A little while later, Landon heads upstairs to chat with Preston. I walk out and lie on a lounger, enjoying the sun. They both reappear. "Mom...Mom..." Preston says from above me.

"What?" I shield my eyes.

"We’re headed out for awhile." He looks a little sad.

"What happened with Sadie?" I ask, curious.

"She called. I told her I need some time away. She’s still denying anything happening, but I know I didn't put that mark there. I know that Sydney fucks everyone, so it won't surprise me if Sadie does too." Preston looks disgusted.

"I'm sorry, baby." I get up and hug him. "There are other fish in the sea. Besides, you start school again in the fall, and there will be plenty of other girls."

"I know. Thanks, Mom." He kisses my forehead. "We'll be back later."  He heads toward the door.

"We'll talk later," Landon tells me before looking over his shoulder to the door. He leans over lightly and kisses my lips.

"Okay, be careful." He walks inside too. I pace around before calling Lacy to ask if she wants to come over and have a few margaritas with me.

**

"So Preston broke up with Sadie?" Lacy asks me as I hand her our third margarita. We're both hanging out at the pool. The sun is descending behind the trees. I think we're both pretty toasted.

"Yeah, I guess she's been fucking other guys. Preston said that Sydney does all the time. I just hate that he's messed up with her."  I sip my drink.

We continue talking and drinking, and after a couple hours, we're giggling like high school girls. I think we've had a few too many now, and I lost count at four. In walks my boy toy and he looks delicious. He smirks at us as he approaches.

"Girls, what's up?" he asks, eyeing me in my pink bikini. Lacy giggles.

"Having a party, you want to join?" I giggle. "Where's Preston?"

"He met up with a crying Sadie." He sits on the bottom of my lounger, looking between both of us. "They were going to stay out later and talk some."

"I wish he would stay away from her," Lacy says. "I don't like those girls."

"I agree," I say.

"I'll be back. I got to hit the little girl’s room." Lacy stumbles into the house.

"Drink too much, baby?" Landon leans over and kisses my lips.

I giggle. "No. Just relaxing."

"I can relax you. He stretches over my body, and so I wrap my legs around his middle. "Fuck, you feel so good." He reaches behind my neck and unties the strings. Lowering my top, he bends down and sucks my nipple into his mouth, twirling his tongue around my piercing. I moan while lifting my hips.  Lacy still hasn't come out. "Did she pass out in there?" Landon says as he looks up at me.

"Probably." I push his head back down toward my chest through my slightly drunken state. He chuckles as he takes the other nipple into his hot mouth. After a while of no Lacy, we progress into removing my bottoms too. He flips them behind him as he lowers himself to lick back and forth in my cleft. I grind against his face, enjoying being violated by his tongue. I feel his finger enter into my now slick core as he sucks on my clit. "Landon, that feels so good. I want you to fuck me right now."

He raises up from between my legs. "Are you sure? What about Lacy?"

"She passed out. I knew she would. She always does. Here." I reach up and pull his shirt over his head. His pierced nipples and muscular abs are mouthwatering. I lean forward and lick him from one nipple to the other. He moans as he starts fumbling with the buttons on his jeans. He stands up to rip the jeans down his leg. I get up and walk down the steps into the pool. Ever since the first time when he touched me in the pool, I've been dreaming of having him in there. He turns around and follows me in, displaying his very impressive cock. I swim over to him, wrapping my legs around him.  He pushes my back up against the sidewall of the pool just as he enters me.

"Fuck, Brooklyn, this is so good." I bounce up and down his shaft, my back scratching against the wall. I nod. I reach behind my head, holding on to the sidewall as he thrusts in and out. He rubs against my clit as I feel my release pounding to get out of me. After a few more rubs and one final thrust, I groan out my release just as he stops emptying inside of me. We're both panting. He kisses me between my breasts. We both still as we hear the door open. I'm becoming more sober now and worried who will find out our secret. Landon peaks over the side and whispers. "It's Lacy."

"Fuck," I whisper.

"Brooklyn? Where did you go?" she slurs. "Landon?"

She walks closer to the pool after she noticed Landon in there. "Landon, why are you swimming? Where did Brooklyn go?"  She reaches the edge of the pool, looking down at him, and gasps as she sees me between Landon and the wall. "Oh my god, Brooklyn, what are you doing?" Her eyes are huge.

"Lacy, calm down. Can you hand us a towel please?" She turns and grabs us each a towel. We both exit out of the pool and cover ourselves with the towels. "I can explain."

"Okay, explain. How long have you been doing this?" She looks over at Landon. I can tell this has sobered her enough to understand that Landon and I were just having sex.

"Not too long. It just happened. I didn't want it too. You can't tell anyone. Please," I beg.

"But he wanted too," she points at Landon. "He's always been close to you. I always saw the way he watches you."

"It was after his accident." I drop my towel to put my bikini back on. Lacy gasps again, looking over at Landon, who is watching me change.  He smirks.

"Brooklyn!" She stresses, looking at Landon then back at me.

"I'm not shy, Lacy, plus, he's already seen it all." Landon chuckles as he scoops up his clothes, heading toward the house. Once he's inside, I turn to Lacy. "You have to promise me that you won't tell anyone. Preston especially."

"Brooklyn, you're my best friend. I will never tell anyone. Are you sure you know what you're doing? I mean, he's a kid." We both sit on the loungers.

"Thank you. I think I know what I'm doing. I tried to avoid him for the longest time, but he was persistent, and I crumbled. There's something about him. I know there's a huge age difference, but I can't seem to stay away. Maybe once school starts again, he can find someone more his age. I will just have to move on." Just as I say this, Landon comes back out toward us. He's redressed.  He sits behind me, pulling me between his legs. He kisses my shoulder as he wraps his arms around my middle.  Lacy's eyes are huge at his affection toward me.

"Not happening. I don't want a girl my age. I want Brooklyn. I heard what you just said." He pinches my side. I smile back to him.

"Well, I’ll be damned. Age is just a number. You both do look good together. I promise my lips are sealed." She motions with her finger to her lips as if she sealed it.

"Thanks, Lacy. That means a lot to Brooklyn. She worries about people finding out," Landon tells her.

"Are you sure you’re only twenty?" Lacy chuckles. "And what are you majoring in anyway?"

"Twenty-one next week and Pre-Law, like my dad. He's so excited and hopes to someday have me start at his firm." Landon sounds excited himself.

"That's great. What law are you going into?" He kisses my shoulder again before answering.

"Corporate law is the firm my dad is a partner in. So that's the plan." Landon's phone rings just as he says this. He pulls it out of his pocket. He holds it out, and I notice that it's Sydney. He hits ignore.
