KEVIN KIELY
was born in Ireland and began writing in his teens. As well as two collections of poetry, he has published novels for adults, had plays broadcast on RTÉ and engaged in literary journalism and editing.
He has a wide range of work experience, including teaching, lecturing,
horticulture
, quality control, caretaking, deliveries and house painting. He has received five Literature Bursary Awards from the Irish Arts Council, and is Honorary Fellow in Writing with the University of Iowa. He has lived in Europe and the US but is settled in Ireland.
