Read A Kingpin's Obsession: Ajoni's Story Online
Authors: London Starr
After we said our vows, Jonny made a speech at the reception held inside the house, informing everyone of why I never had a chance with Jordan Cole and that my husband was the one that got him into rehab and paid for it, completing my family
—
my father getting his life together did not make a bit of difference to Seeri though. After the reception was over, she absconded with Anjuwan back to D.C. while King and I flew to Jamaica on a private jet for a week.
Since then, I feel like a real queen most days that does not have to get out of the bed if I do not want to. My King and Anjuwan does not mind bringing me whatever I need. That includes the baby and whatever he needs, my laptop whenever business calls, or the phone when one of our parents checks in with us living out here in the back of the beyond.
King wanted to sell the house after Lea tainted it with her saltiness, except he could not get his parole officer to approve his move to D.C., and neither could Raw. King told me this a week after he proposed. I made an executive decision and quickly moved the Mitchell women who were about to hyphenate their name with Kingsley to Mecca County so he would stop risking a violation to his parole to be with me and Anjuwan every day. He had no problems with it.
We both think Larkin has something to do with him and Raw not being able to move to D.C. I guess Larkin is hoping to keep the former Blue Kings close while he digs for dirt on them. However, Larkin can tunnel through all the dirt he wants to, but he will not find any bodies that have been laid down, or the bones.
Raw, Leek, and King dug them all up, and had them cremated before spreading the ashes throughout the woods in the back of the warehouse that has been torn down for almost a year now. All of that cost a serious chunk of change that still did not put a dent in King’s money now stashed in a wall vault behind our bed. Somehow, he managed to amass over ten million tax-free dollars that only Raw and I knew was buried in the warehouse floor.
Kingsley’s Yacht Club is doing beautifully in D.C., and is a family business that Jonny and Vanessa take great pride in managing together for the last six months. They are the only ones that are not on paper besides me and Seeri, who found a little house in Mecca County and moved back here too when she heard her husband was relocating to D.C permanently to help run the business. King would have happily paid the rent for her, but Seeri made it clear plain as day that she would not be any city that Jonny lives in.
X and Slade are not on paper either because they are still in prison after getting caught with contraband; a damn cell phone. After both idiots got word through the jailhouse grapevine that Raw and King had been released, they used the phones to call the jump offs
taking care of their homes and cars in Mecca
—
X and Slade were hoping for an update on the Kings already out of prison since they didn’t know that Raw was already looking out for them, and got extra time on their sentences instead, or they would probably already be out.
King hired both of them a lawyer, and expect them to get out soon. I, personally, am not in any hurry to deal with the reunited crew of the Blue Kings again, but I don’t think the members still locked down will have any animosity towards me, or will have to deal with King if they do.
“Get out your head Ajoni, and tell me what you want, baby.”
I look down at the man that changed my life for the better just like he wanted to. “I want your calm, patient side, sweetheart. You’re being King right now and about to tear someone’s head off. Go upstairs and take a nap with your son.”
He snuggles up to me instead, and lays his head on my shoulder before smiling deviously up at me.
“I’ll take a nap if you take one with me, wifey.”
I start to giggle and raise my arm, looping it behind his back and pulling him in the crook of it, close enough to kiss him.
“Making more babies with you is
not
taking a nap, sweetheart.”
He shrugs. “Maybe not, but I promise I won’t be grumpy afterwards.”
“No, you’ll be
sleep
afterwards and leave me to deal with your moms, my parents, the kids, guests, and your crew by myself when they arrive in a few hours for our first anniversary party. Plus, Mama and Anjuwan will come looking for us when they come back from the store buying God knows what. There’s enough food here to feed an army. If you had waited to marry me, we could be honeymooning in Jamaica right now, and not have to worry about having this party until a year from now.”
“So you saying you put my ass to sleep whenever Anjuwan and CJ let us be alone in the same room together, huh?”
“Well, if the shoe fits,” I say smugly.
“Okay, that’s true. You wear my ass out. I swear you’re trying to make up for the eight years you didn’t have me around. But if you think I was going to wait to marry you after putting that four-carat rock on your finger and you agreed to marry me, you must’ve fallen and bumped your head somewhere between here and D.C., Ajoni.”
I cannot say I am surprised that he would not wait to marry me and getting his way about how soon we would do it, but I am shocked about one thing.
“I still can’t believe that Leek’s the one that married us.”
King laughs out loud and shakes his head. “Dude is a damn preacher! Prison is changing every one of the Blue Kings.”
“Hopefully for the better, love. I’m just glad you got over your obsession with me.”
He cocks an eyebrow.
“Bullshit, Mrs. Kingsley. I just manage my obsession better, but I’ll always be obsessed with you until one of us dies, and then I’ll just find you in heaven or hell because I will always love you.”
“And I’ll be waiting for you, Mr. Kingsley, wherever we end up because I’ll always love and be obsessed with you,” I say before I drop my mouth to his for a soul-searing kiss that I will never get enough of, and will probably lead to another baby
—I hope so

The End or is it?

a thank you letter to the readers
To all the readers who have taken their precious time to read Ileeria’s story, thank you from the author who appreciates you the most. Do not be afraid to lend even more of your support, and leave a review on Amazon or Barnes and Noble for any of my books. Even if you did not love this story, I welcome and value your opinion, and do not expect everyone to love every story I’ve written, but I appreciate your support very much. Every author who hopes to hone their craft does. I will not stop perfecting mine until everyone has read and loved a story written by my pen, whether it’s under my true name or pen name, that adores inking my imagination to paper so I can spread it far and wide, giving someone a warm place to go in a world that can be so cruel sometimes. That is my calling, and I listen to it every day, hoping to share it with you.
Sincerely,
LaToya Wilson, London Starr <3
