Madison nodded, but instead of following behind, she said, “We need a minute.”

“No worries. Tara’s not going anywhere.”

When the two left, Madison folded her arms and stared at Sean’s handcuffs. “How did a little girl like her get a guy like you into those?”

“I don’t know.” He rolled his eyes, clearly agitated by the situation. “I think she put something in my drink.”

“There is something seriously wrong with that girl,” Madison said as she tested the handcuffs. “Pretty secure.”

“Yeah, I know.”

Madison stepped back to look him over and couldn’t help but think how sexy he looked.

He pulled on the cuffs again. “You want to uncuff me?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Come on, Madison, get me out of these.”

Madison laughed and gave him a mischievous grin. “You know, you’ve been a little dominant in the bedroom. Always having to be the one in charge.”

He shifted uncomfortably on the bed, “Yeah, and you like it,” he shot back. “So don’t deny it.”

“Oh, I’m not denying it, but since Tara went to all this trouble, and you look so damn good lying there at my mercy, maybe I’ll leave you like this.” She cocked her head and gestured toward the overhead mirror, turning the tables on him. “You know, so I can be in charge of your pain and pleasure.”

He let loose a groan. “Jesus Christ!” Her glance left his face and took in the bulge in his jeans. She trailed her fingers along his hard thighs and toyed with his button. “You really need to stop playing with fire, Madison,” he bit out, his eyes smoldering.

“Why, when it’s so fun?” She pulled open his jeans, released his zipper and let his cock spring free. Sean’s hips jutted forward, his rock-hard erection beckoning her mouth as the yacht swayed against the dock.

As precome glistened on his crown, she said, “Oh my. You’re burning up, Sean.” Then she made a tsking sound. “And there really is only one way to extinguish these kinds of flames.” His eyes blazed with yearning as she leaned forward to run her wet tongue along the length of him.

“Fuck,” he murmured and bucked against her mouth.

Madison gave him a naughty-girl grin before she pulled him in deeper for a long hard suck. The handcuffs jangled and Sean’s cock swelled in her mouth.

A moment later his muscles tensed and his voice came out like rusty nails when he said, “So help me, God, you are so going to pay for this, Madison!”

She lifted her eyes to see him, and when their glances met, and she saw warmth and tenderness mingling with lust, she knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that in his eyes she was beautiful and desirable and they really were playing for keeps.

Her heart swelled with the love she felt for him. “That’s what I’m counting on, Sean. That’s exactly what I’m counting on.”

Good at Being Bad:

His warm breath tickled her neck. “I’ve missed you, Ally.”

She opened her mouth to speak, but what could she say. She’d missed him too.

As lust overrode common sense and desire sang through her veins, she found herself melting into him.

His warm hand slid under her blouse and brushed over her stomach. His touch sent shock waves through her and unleashed her need. As she took pleasure in the feel of his strong hands on her body, and felt his hard arousal press against her back, some small coherent part of her brain warned that she was crossing a line, one that might not be so easy to come back from and would undoubtedly result in heartache.

Allison gulped. “We shouldn’t be doing this.”

Carter spun her to face him. He wet his mouth as dark eyes full of passion searched her face. “Do you want me to stop?”

Her womb clenched as moisture pooled between her legs. “Yes. No. I don’t know.”

Carter brushed the soft pad of his thumb over her lips. “That bad feeling again?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay, tell you what, sweetheart. Let’s not overthink this. Instead, let’s just do what feels good.”

She opened her mouth, but her words of protest were lost on a moan when his lips crashed down on hers. Warm need pulsed through her blood as he kissed her long and hard until her body throbbed with pent-up passion. When he deepened the kiss and she tasted the beer on his tongue, she knew she was utterly trumped.

God, it’s been too long since I’ve been kissed like this.

He abandoned her mouth and pressed his lips to that sensitive area on her neck as he pushed a knee between her legs to widen them. His lips felt like fire on her skin, and there was nothing she could do to stop herself from grinding her pussy against his hard thigh. Pleasure coursed through her, hot and heavy in her veins. She couldn’t deny that she wanted this, wanted him so much she ached. Her hands raced over him with aroused eagerness, tugging at his T-shirt.

God, I need…

When she whimpered, Carter looked at her. His voice was so intimate, so soft and full of emotions when he asked, “Did that feel good, Ally?”

She gave a slow nod, her breath labored, unsteady. With that, Carter tore off his shirt and pulled her close. She ran her hands over his hard back muscles, reacquainting herself with his strong, athletic body. His fingers found the buttons on her blouse, and he opened them one by one, until her hard nipples were exposed through her lace bra.

A low sound crawled out of his throat as he brushed his thumb over one distended bud. “How about this, sweetheart? Does this feel good?”

Instead of answering she let her lids fall shut, her body basking in the erotic sensations rolling through her.

Allison ran her tongue over her kiss-swollen lips as want burned a lazy path through her body. Carter pulled her bra cup to the side and lowered his mouth to her breast. That first, sweet flick of his tongue over her sensitive nipple had her arching into him and moaning in sensual bliss.

“Oh God, yes,” she cried out, and that seemed to be all the encouragement Carter needed.

He quickly removed her sweater, blouse and bra, leaving her standing there in nothing but her jeans. He took a long moment to look at her near nakedness, the heat in his eyes intensifying and warming her all over.

He stepped close, lightly caressing her arms as he dipped his head, his hair brushing her cheek. “You’re beautiful, Ally.”

Her gaze slid over him, need pumping through her veins. “So are you.”

He packaged her in his strong arms, and she could feel his cock press into her stomach. His eyes were dark, his gaze tormented. “Tell me you want this.”

As his primal essence completely overwhelmed her, she struggled to think, to rationalize. But her brain didn’t want to work, and her body only wanted to feel. In that instant she made the quick decision that tonight was too perfect to pass up. The combination of the full moon, the sand and surf, not to mention the half-naked man before her was more than she could take. She’d gift herself with this night in Carter’s arms, then tomorrow…well, tomorrow she’d get her head on straight and her life back on track.

But tonight…oh, tonight…

It’s a thin line between love and hate. When it shatters, watch out…

As a teen, Sydney Boyle’s crush on her foster parents’ son—despite their six-year age difference—brought her nothing but heartache. So she did what any smart girl would do: feigned indifference.

Keeping her distance is pretty tough, now that Sean is the head of the family publishing company. Forced into close contact, denying her long-suppressed attraction is getting harder by the day.

As Sydney grew from a shy, sweet teen to a mind-numbing beauty, Sean could only stand by and watch, his father’s warning ringing in his ears.
Hands off.

But now they’re both adults. And it won’t be long before he ends one of their daily, nose-to-nose office arguments by just hauling off and kissing her.

Cue the snow, some close dancing, and a steaming Jacuzzi in a mountain cabin, and things take a turn for the hot and steamy. But giving in to temptation could mean one of them can never go home again…

Warning: Lesson in How to Make a Man Stand Up and Take Notice: take one tight red sweater, add some sexy two-stepping with a few hot cowboys, rub, twirl, wiggle and…stand back and let the pissing contest begin.

Irresistible:

Without thinking, Sean slid his fingers into her silky hair, dropping his head to capture her mouth, but before their lips met they were interrupted.

“Ma’am, may I have this dance?”

Sean slowly raised his head to see yet another cowboy eyeing Sydney. This one was a little taller than the last and built like a Brahma—and raised by a coyote by the gleam in his eyes.

“The woman’s with me.” Sean spoke without thinking. Judging by Sydney’s widened eyes, his words had shocked her as much as they had him.

“Sean?” His name was almost inaudible on her lips.

“Excuse us.” He maneuvered her through the dancers and toward their table. Before they reached their destination, she pulled to an abrupt halt.

“Uhhh…what just happened?”

He bristled, reaching for the only thing that came to mind. “You don’t want to get involved with the likes of these men.”

“And why not?”

“Look at them, Sydney.”

No sooner did he say it than he regretted his words. Because look, or more to the point ogle, was exactly what she did, receiving several interested smiles in return that made his hackles rise to the surface.

“Okay. That’s enough,” he barked.

Her brows shot upward so fast he half expected them to disappear into her hairline.

Enough
?” She paused. When she spoke again her tone firmed. “No. What’s enough is your overbearing—
Errr
…” she growled. “That you think you have some say over my personal life. You’re my boss. I work for you. But you’re not my guardian or my protector. That’s all—” Her voice cracked. “That’s all there will ever be between us.”
