He dragged a pillow over his face, blocking out the site of Logan’s annoying face. “Go ’way.”

The couch next to his side dipped as Logan sat down. If Colin had thought he could manage it, he would have tried to shove him from the couch. As it was, he was trying his hardest not to move.

“I told you, you ate too many cookies.”

Colin would have liked to argue, to deny, but he couldn’t. He’d eaten an impossible amount of cookies, and now he felt impossibly bad. He was pretty sure if he so much as moved an inch, the cookies would be coming back up. So he wasn’t moving. Or even breathing that heavy. The less his body moved, the better.

“I’m dying,” he said, half convinced that he really was. He didn’t know what had possessed him, but he thought he might never eat another cookie again. The thought of icing made him gag. “Why did we need so many cookies?”

“I’ve got a large family, who’s going to stay for multiple days. Unlike you they’ll pace themselves, but they still go through a lot. And you kept eating them, I had to make sure there was enough.”

There was laughter in his voice. Colin squinted up at him, scowling fiercely. “It’s not funny,” he said. “I was tricked by their sugary goodness.”

“Sure you were.”

Logan leaned down, like he was going to kiss Colin, and Colin shoved his face away. “Nu-uh,” he said. “Not happening.”

“I was just going for a peck. I want to see if you taste like sugar. I feel like your blood has to have turned into it at this point.”

Colin stared up at him with narrowed eyes. “One peck.”

“You’re rationing kisses now, huh?”

“Do you want it or not?”

It wasn’t so much a peck as it was a lingering kiss. Logan licked his lips, pulling away with a smug smile.

“You do taste like sugar.”

He considered the state of his stomach. As long as Logan didn’t climb on top of him…. “I think you’ve got it wrong,” he said. “Maybe you should kiss me again.”

Chapter Four

wearing a Santa hat on his head and elf booties on his four giant paws. Colin wasn’t entirely sure what Logan was going for with that, other than extreme cuteness. Logan spent no less than five minutes chasing him around the living room, trying to get him to stay still long enough for him to get a decent picture.

“Good luck with that,” said Logan.

Colin looked up from his screen to find Logan leaning in the doorway, watching with a fond smile on his face and his arms crossed.

“Merry Christmas,” said Colin.

“Merry Christmas,” said Logan, crossing the room to him. “Did you manage to get any good ones?”

He’d managed two decent ones and had a host of blurry ones. “You should send me those two,” said Logan, dipping his head for a quick kiss. “What do you want for breakfast?”

Colin stared after him, mouth hanging open, as Logan headed for the kitchen. It had struck him all of a sudden just how… domestic this all was. He felt like he’d known Logan for months, when in actuality it had only been three days. But here they were, baking and cooking and kissing like it was nothing. He’d slept in his bed for the last two nights. They still hadn’t had sex. Had he missed something? Had they skipped the first year of the relationship and gone right for domestic contentment?

“Are you going to answer me?” called Logan.

“I’m thinking,” said Colin. It wasn’t a lie. He just wasn’t thinking about food.

“It’s not rocket science.” Logan came back, looking at him oddly. “You all right?”

“Is this weird?” blurted Colin.

“Is what weird?”

Colin motioned between the two of them. “This. It’s all very… coupley. Do you think that’s weird? We barely even know each other.”

“Do you think it’s weird?” asked Logan. He stepped close so he was in Colin’s space, putting his hands on his hips.

“I think I should think it’s weird.” But he didn’t. Which was where he was having his issue. There was no way this was normal.

Logan hummed. “I know you sleep on the left side of the bed. You have no self-control when it comes to cookies, hate Christmas movies, and wish you were Bilbo Baggins. You like your eggs scrambled with cheese in them. When you sleep in a bed, you sleep on your side, and you barely move. When you fall asleep on the couch, you move all around, and apparently you sleepwalk. You don’t like a lot of tongue with your kisses, ’cause whenever I try you pull away and try to distract me by kissing my neck. Behind your ear is particularly sensitive, and you like when I kiss you there. Should I go on?”

He felt like he’d been sucker punched. “No,” said Colin, wrapping his arms around Logan’s shoulders. “No. I think I get it.”

“What do you get?”

Colin beamed at him. “You’re smitten with me. It’s adorable.” He might have been making fun of him, but he meant it, and he could admit he was more than a little smitten himself. He did have one question, though. “Why’d you kiss me the first time?”

“You really want to know?”

“I really do.”

“You’re very attractive, and you kept blushing. Seemed like the thing to do.” He smirked. “Maybe I wanted to see if you blushed anywhere else.”

“That’s romantic,” laughed Colin. “Good to know.”

Logan leaned in and kissed up his jawline to his mouth. “Can we eat now?” he asked, his lips moving against Colin’s.

“I want pancakes,” said Colin.

out that making snowmen in a blizzard wasn’t the smartest thing to do. For one, they wouldn’t stay upright. And two, Colin felt like he was frozen solid and would never thaw.

“Can we please give up?” he asked Logan, who, crazy man that he was, was sprawled out, lying in the snow. His arms and legs were lazily moving. Colin was impressed they could move at all. He looked like the Michelin man, all bundled up. He had to have been twice his normal size at least.

Colin really had to question this man and his Christmas traditions.

“Yeah,” said Logan. “Help me up.”

Getting a good grip on him—between the gloves and the parka—wasn’t an easy feat. He sank down into the snow as he pulled. Logan wasn’t any help at all. By the time Colin pulled him up, the falling snow had obliterated his snow angel.

“That’s a shame,” said Logan. “I thought it was a good one.”

Rolling his eyes, Colin hustled for the house. He too was bundled up enough to bear a closer resemblance to a ball than a human. He couldn’t cross his arms.

They entered the house in a flurry of snow; Colin almost went flying as his boots slipped on the floor. Logan caught him at the last minute, shoving him back up with a push to his back.

“Any other traditions I should know about?” asked Colin, slowly lowering himself to the floor to begin the process of shedding his many layers.

“Just dinner,” said Logan. “We’ve done breakfast and playing in the snow. Can’t really do presents.”

“I’m all for dinner.” He tugged on his shoe, but it wouldn’t come off. Logan moved to help him. He braced himself, and Logan pulled. When the boot came off, Logan went staggering back into the wall. They repeated the process with the second one. “If I could feel my lips, I’d kiss you.”

Logan laughed, toeing off his own boots with no problem. “Why don’t you go get the hot tub going, and I’ll check on the turkey? That should give you enough time to thaw out.”

“You’re going to spoil me,” said Colin, standing and shoving down his snow pants. “Pancakes, a hot tub, fancy Christmas dinner. If it weren’t for you trying to kill me with that snowman stuff I’d think we have a good thing going.”

Logan kissed him, probably to shut him up. Colin’s lips were numb from the cold, but that didn’t stop him from making an eager noise and kissing back. When Logan touched his face, fingertips like ice, he jerked away. “S’cold,” he said. “Keep your hands to yourself.”

“Go get warmed up,” said Logan, backing away. “I need to check the food before it burns and we don’t have anything.”

The hot tub was attached to the pool, and it took Colin a couple of minutes to figure out how to turn it on. When the water started frothing, he looked downward as he contemplated sticking a toe in to test the temperature. He realized that he was fully dressed and without a bathing suit.

He wasn’t opposed to getting in naked, but he was opposed to being embarrassed should Logan show up in a bathing suit. What to do….

He got naked. Once the water was hot enough, of course. The froth concealed everything below waterline, but he didn’t think it was going to matter. He let his head roll back against the edge of the tub, and he groaned as the jets he’d sat in front of beat away at his back.

“Don’t you look comfy.”

He turned to look at Logan, who was fully dressed but not holding swim trunks. He thought that was pretty promising.

“Care to join me?” he asked in the corniest tone he could muster up.

Logan’s shirt hit him in the face. He let it fall in the water, the light gray material turning dark. “Rude.”

“You’re rude.”

“That comeback was awful,” said Colin, watching as Logan stripped out of his pants. Fit, he was so fucking fit. Colin didn’t think it was fair. His legs were long, and the muscles in his thighs and calves were so clearly defined, flexing every time he moved. His skin was tan, dusted lightly with blond hair. “Could you take any longer?”

Logan looked up, smirking, and stepped out of his pants. His underwear followed, much quicker. Colin’s mouth went dry. “Not fair,” he muttered.

Wading into the tub, Logan tossed his shirt onto the floor where it landed with a wet flop. He moved to straddle Colin’s lap. Colin immediately grasped his hips, fingers running over smooth skin. So much skin, all of it pressed up against him, none of it hidden by clothes.

He let his hands wander, running them down Logan’s thighs, till he could grip behind his knees, then back up, up to his shoulders and then back down.

Logan settled on his lap, wrapping his arms around Colin’s back. “You’re very tactile,” he said. “I would have never guessed.”

“Why’s that?” asked Colin, running one of his hands up Logan’s stomach, watching as his abdomen shifted with the touches.

“Doesn’t fit, is all. Just a feeling. Obviously wrong.” Logan played with the hair at his nape, scratching lightly along the back of his neck. Colin tilted his head forward to give him more room.

“Obviously,” he breathed, kissing Logan’s shoulder since it was right there. He sucked lightly on the freckled skin, grazed his teeth over it. When he came up, he asked, “Are we going to do more than kiss this time?”

“Mhm,” said Logan, ducking his head to kiss his way up Colin’s neck. “It’s about time, don’t you think?”

“Definitely,” replied Colin, moving to meet Logan’s lips. There was something about having a naked Logan straddling him that made it very difficult to keep the kiss slow. So he didn’t try very hard. He was breathing fast in a matter of seconds, bringing his hands up to hold Logan’s head in place as their lips moved together, and he tried to breathe him in.

Logan braced his hands on Colin’s shoulders, pushing himself up and down, his cock slowly thickening as it brushed against Colin’s stomach. “Wait, wait. One second,” gasped Colin against Logan’s lips.

Logan pulled away from the kiss, stopping his rocking motion with one last shuddering movement. “What am I waiting for?” he panted, eyes narrowed with impatience, fingers digging into Colin’s shoulders.

Colin wriggled a hand down between them and gave his own cock a quick tug. Logan pushed his hand away, wiggled his hips, and there. His cock brushed against Colin’s with every movement, sandwiched tightly between their stomachs. Groaning loudly, Colin gripped Logan’s hips hard enough to bruise and rocked his own up to meet him.

The water in the hot tub was starting to splash with their movements, rocking up and over the side.

Colin sucked hard on Logan’s neck, biting down and licking over the spot with his tongue, his groans muffled by the action. “Fucking vampire,” gasped Logan, gripping his hair and yanking his head back to kiss him. Colin whined into the kiss, hips twitching up hard enough to bounce Logan.

He almost fell to the side, stopping himself with a hand braced on the slick edge of the tub. Logan started to laugh, body shaking over Colin’s. “I think we should move this to the bed,” he said.

Colin certainly wasn’t going to argue.

They left their clothes in the pool room and padded naked through the house, leaving behind wet footprints. The occasional wet spot was left on the wall as they pushed one another against the nearest flat surfaces, kissing and touching, unable to pause for too long.

It was a miracle they made it to the bedroom, but somehow they did. Logan shoved him onto the bed and crawled up over him. He was smirking down at him as he slotted his leg into place between Colin’s. His thigh rubbed against Colin’s erection, and Colin arched his hips into the contact, a harsh breath stuttering out.

He tugged Logan down to him, letting out a small grunt as Logan just let his weight drop. “Asshole,” he murmured fondly, sliding his hands up Logan’s arms. He kissed Logan before he could retaliate, reaching up to hold his head in place for the kiss.

“Domineering,” said Logan when they were finally forced to break apart in order to breathe.

“That’s rich.”

Logan laughed, dipping his head to lick Colin’s neck. He bit him, not altogether gently, then smoothed his tongue over the hurt. Colin slid his hands down Logan’s back, gripped his ass tightly, and flipped them. Logan wrapped his legs around Colin’s waist, digging his heels into Colin’s ass. He lightly scratched his nails down Colin’s back.

“I’m impressed,” he said.

“Shut up.”

Colin kissed his neck and started working down his chest. His hands roved as he kissed salty skin, nipped at tiny pebbled nipples. He skimmed his hands over Logan’s side, felt him twitch and shudder, heard a giggle. Logan’s heel kicked his ass. “If you start tickling me, we’re not going to have sex.”

“What if I tickle you later?” Colin asked, swiping his tongue over Logan’s left nipple and then blowing on it.
