“Mmmm. That’s what I was hoping you would say. Let’s go
home, bébé. You need to show me what you would love to do with me,” he growled
with a devilish grin on that amazing face.

And just like a year ago, Evan grabbed my hand, quickly guiding
me to our waiting car. Before we pulled away, I thanked that window. That
wonderful holiday window made my life parfait. It truly was a window to love!

HERE I WAS, returning to L.A. from
London, more specifically to Hollywood, the land of palm trees, sunshine, fake
tits and starlets. Like the rest of the hopefuls looking for glitz, glamour and
fame, I was about to take a monumental gamble. I would be putting all my time,
effort and money into a film project that would either make me or break me.
This time around in tinsel town things were going to be quite different. I did
have some contacts and credits to my name, but it was the blockbuster, mega hit
I was striving for this time. Hell, yes, an Oscar award would be nice too, but
one thing at a time.

Riding in the back of a town car to the house I rented in
the Hollywood Hills high above the Sunset Strip, my cellphone rang. “Hey Jer.
I'm on my way to the house now. As a matter of fact, I'm almost there.”

“You're going to love it, man,” Jer remarked, sounding like
a typical salesman. “There are a few perks you won't believe.” Jerry Burns was
my long time agent and sometimes friend; it depended on whether he was trying
to screw me over or not.

“Pulling up to the gate now, hang on, let me punch in the
code,” I said leaning out of the car window, keying in the correct numbers and
watching the gate swing open. “Okay, I'm in.” Winding our way up a slick,
stamped-concrete driveway I added, “Wow, looks good from the outside. Better
than the photos you sent me.”

“It should be at the rate you're paying,” he reminded me.

“Aye, I told you not to mention that again,” I reprimanded
him.

The ultra modern two-story house was truly stunning, sitting
pristinely on a cliff facing out to the Pacific Ocean. The concrete and steel
architectural structure featured sleek, clean lines, a flat roof and glass
windows from floor to ceiling.

“Wait until you wake up every morning in the master
bedroom,” he said, still trying to sell me on the property that I was paying an
absorbent amount to rent for six months to a year. “The corner is completely
glass, and looks toward downtown L.A. on one side and the ocean on the other.”

“Sounds great, buddy,” I said half listening to him as I
made my way up the front steps that were carved out of natural stone. “I'm
heading in the front door now.”

Turning the custom egg shaped brushed-brass door knob, I
stepped onto a raised slate floor entrance and took in the open space concept.
My driver carried in my bags: I took care of him and locked the door behind
him. Turning my attention to the interior design, I saw teakwood accents and
hardwood flooring throughout the bottom floor. A retro lighting fixture with
three large white globes suspended at various lengths, hung above a large,
off-white, sectional sofa in the living room. Beyond the sitting area, a round
stone dining table with ornate metalwork with wood and leather seats sat in
front of huge glass window that looked out to the backyard.

I was in awe as I gazed around and the only words I heard
from Jerry were, “Kitchen is stocked with your favourites.” Upon hearing those
words, I ventured further into the house as he rattled on.

A steel rail ran along the three floating steps that took me
down from the entry way and into the main living area. I stopped and took a
look around. It was old Hollywood for sure and if my luck held, maybe somebody
way back in the day lived here when they created a hit movie and their magic
would rub off on me. To the back of the house I saw the kitchen and made a
beeline for it. It was a massive room, outfitted with teak cabinets, concrete
counters, steel appliances and a dark slate floor. I opened the fridge and
marveled at the extensive selection of food and beer Jerry had stocked for me.
That guy really knew his ales. I reached for a one, twisted it open and took a
good long pull of the cold dark brew before turning around to look out the
window at my expensive view. And what a view it was! Between me and the view of
the Pacific Ocean was a naked woman about to dive into the pool.

“Uhhhhhh... Jer... Is anyone else staying at the house?” I
inquired in a wavering voice.

“No,” he answered quickly and asked, “Why do you ask?”

Captivated, I watched her swim a lap in the flat,
reflective, grey bottom pool before she pulled herself up and out and walked to
a lounge chair to lie down. My eyes never left that body but my attention does
turned back to Jerry long enough to say, “Gotta go, Jer. Call you in a couple
of days.”

“You ok, Zach? I heard Jerry ask.

“Yeah... Yeah... I'm a... just completely overwhelmed with
the view,” I stammered, taking a swig from the amber bottle I was gripping a
bit too hard.

“I told you it was an amazing place,” he announced proudly.

“Oooh yeah...” I chuckled. “You have no fucking idea,” I
answered then disconnected, as the sun goddess rubbed lotion into her gorgeous
body.

I moved into the dining room area which was just off the
kitchen and finished my beer while looking out at that marvelous view and
contemplating my next move. If I walked out there I might scare the shit out of
her. It would also be a shame if she covered up that hot body. She was thin,
but not too thin: her curves were all in the right places and she had luscious
tits I'd love to fuck. Lusting in her direction, I realized I was a peeping
Tom; correction, make that a peeping Zach. As my curiosity got the better of
me, I realized I needed to make my present known and give her the option of
putting clothes on. First, I grabbed another beer from the fridge before I head
out.

As I stepped out through the steel framed sliding glass door
to introduce myself, she got up on her hands and knees giving me a full view of
her bare pussy before she laid flat on the chaise lounge. “Holy shit!” My mouth
began to water and my cock was instantly as hard as a rock. Taking a deep
breath I adjusted myself, slip on a pair of shades and headed toward the vision
of loveliness.

“Hey there sun worshiper,” I said flashing my pearly whites,
looking over the top of my sunglasses so that she could see the naughty gleam
in my eye.

TIME TO SAY “merci” to a few people…

First, I must thank my best friend Tammy Kat for introducing
me to romance novels and I dedicate this book in her memory. I hope that my
book is available for you in heaven.

To ma maman, I bid an ENORMOUS thank you even though you
will probably never see these words. It’s you and me against the world. I love
you!

A big thank you to all of my family and friends that have
encouraged me when I got this wild idea to finally sit down and write a romance
novel. How many times did I hear; HURRY UP… I CAN’T WAIT TO READ IT… IS IT DONE
YET? Well, now I have an answer for all of you; hurry up, read it, are you done
yet… Did you love it?

Gigeebelle thank you my friend, for being the first one to
laugh, to cry and to lust after my handsome leading man.

Carmela, Gloria, Stacy and Rosee thank you for reading my
book and giving me valuable input. It encouraged me to set a publishing date
knowing you all loved my story.

JT Formatting, thank you for making my words come to life.

Once Upon a Book Cover, you took my artwork and made it look
amazing.

And last but far from least… to my amazing editor, Ruthie
Bradford, I say, MERCI BEAUCOUP! You motivated me every step of the way and
without you I would probably be months away from publishing. It has been a
pleasure working with you and I hope you are ready, mademoiselle, because we
have a series to finish!

FIFI FLOWERS IS an internationally
known artist who paints her daydream city of Paris, adding her special flair of

archival paper.

Fifi has taken her love of Paris and romance to the pages of
her first novel, A Window to Love, due out on August 11th, 2013. Fifi's love of
writing began at a very young age, and finally, during the fall of 2012, she
sat down, and instead of putting paint to paper, put her pen to paper and began
her first novel. A Window to Love is the first in her series of eight romance
novels.

Fifi has a bachelor's degree in Art and a minor in Art
History from California Polytechnic University. She also attended UCLA Film
School for Production Design.
