Afterward, they slept.

Light was streaming in through the window as Ace woke to the sound of his phone ringing. Muttering about goddamn telephones, he looked at the caller ID, and answered the ring. "Yeah?"

"Ace?" Her voice was breathless.

"Who else would it be, Queenie?"

"He spanked me!"

"What?"

"Will Mazie fuckin' spanked me!"

Ace felt a little like a traitor, but he couldn't help but smile. His sister was a brat of the first order. This Mazie guy was beginning to sound pretty good. Ace sat down on a chair and got ready to hear the story. "Okay, Q. Tell me all about it."
