As she inched down and slowly lowered herself onto his gloriously hard erection, taking him fully inside her, she felt his gasp of surprise against her mouth. She laughed. A hearty, deep laugh of pure, undiluted joy.

“Brat,” he said.

“Uh-huh. So you’ve told me.” She rose up then lowered herself again, pulling a deep moan from him. “And the answer is yes.”

He rolled them again. As he lie buried deep inside her, he framed her face with his hands. “And you’ll never, ever leave me again. No matter what.”

“Never, my love,” she promised, meaning it with all her heart and soul.

Epilogue

Brandon stared at the small log cabin that had been converted into a shop. A bubble of happiness and a feeling of supreme pride burst within him. The sign over the door, in a bold scrawl, simply read: Bella’s Garden.

“Well,” Bella said from beside her husband, “what do you think?”

“I think you are the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. Run away with me?”

She laughed and, standing up on tiptoe, kissed his cheek. The tiny pink bundle in his arms squirmed and mewled.

“Even Cassie thinks you’re amazing,” he whispered. “Don’t you have a terrific mother?”

Isabella pulled the blanket down just a fraction of an inch and looked into the pretty green gaze of their one-month-old daughter. A miracle. Isabella’s whole life was a miracle. She’d married the man of her dreams and had a child with him. And today she was opening her very own flower shop.

“You’re going to be late for your flight,” Isabella said as her gaze flicked up toward Brandon’s.

He leaned down and kissed her softly. “I know. I wish I could stay with you, though. Your first day and all.”

She felt that tiny burst of pleasure in the area of her heart as she met Brandon’s intense gaze. “Mom will be here in an hour to help when I open.” She smiled again. She felt as if she’d been smiling ever since she realized how very much Brandon loved her. “Besides, I didn’t fly out to the flats with you your first day. Wilks’ Guide Service is yours. Bella’s Garden is mine.”

He chuckled that low, deep sound that still made her heart skip a beat. “Touché.” He kissed her again and then transferred their daughter into her arms. “Be good. I’ll be back by four. Don’t be mad if I come and check on you.”

“Never.”

Brandon wrapped his arms around his girls. “I’m so proud of you, Bella,” he whispered. “I love you so much.”

Isabella raised her face to his for a kiss. “Then I guess that makes us even, doesn’t it?”
