"It doesn't take long when you know what you're doing," he responded, sitting down at the computer without another glance in my direction.

No, it doesn't
. He'd made me come three times in five minutes.
That had to be some sort of world record
, I thought as I left and went to sit with Jess in her office.

She looked up and smiled when she saw me. "How's it going with Will?"

"That man is …
grrr
," I growled, making sounds of irritation before flopping down in the chair in front of her desk. "You could've warned me that
he
was the IT guy!"

She giggled and covered her mouth. "You like him! And don't even deny it. He wouldn't get you so worked up if you didn't."

"I don't want anything to do with him! I tried to make him leave and he wouldn't."

"Um-huh. Right," she said, not buying my B.S. "And I have to ask…if you want you can tell me to mind my own damn business. What's Will like, you know...in bed?"

I couldn't hide my smile. I'd wanted to share with someone but didn't want to admit I'd had a one-night stand to any of my pretentious friends. Just days after meeting a guy at
Sin
, my friend Kylie was in a serious relationship with him, saying things like he might be "the one."

"Ha! That smile says it must have been pretty damn good. Hell, I didn't know he had it in him."

I laughed and shook my head. "Me either. He made me come three times within five minutes on the elevator."

"
Jesus
! Three times on the elevator? Wait, the one in Dylan's building? Doesn't it have cameras?"

"Oh shit!" I said, jumping up from my seat in a panic. "No. Please tell me it doesn't."

"I thought there was a security company that monitored it."

"Oh God."

"What ... what did you two do in it exactly?" she asked, biting her lip and trying not to smile.

I groaned and flopped back down in the chair, knowing it was too late to worry about cameras now.

"He … went down on me in a very...compromising way, even more so than normal, and then we, well, you know."

"He is just full of surprises! Based on my own experience, and from what Lauren and Jules have said when we…compare notes, I think these boys received some amazing Sex Ed in high school. And amen for that."

"Tell me about it. My ex was so damn selfish that after he busted a nut that was all she wrote."

"Ugh. What an ass! Don't men know that women would fuck them more if they got us off occasionally?"

"You'd think. But that didn't bother my ex…he had tons of women on the side."

"Oh no, Lacy! What man would cheat on you?"

"An asshole. Which is why I ended things when I graduated two weeks ago."

"Well, good for you."

"Now if I could just stop thinking about him. Sort of hard to do when he keeps texting and calling nonstop. But this time I'm done."

"Is that how you ended up with a certain someone?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. I was looking for the opposite of Zack, but it seems assholes come in all shapes and sizes. At least I got seven orgasms out of it."

"Seven? In one night?"

"No, more like five in twenty or thirty minutes and then two the next morning."

"Wow! The man works magic fast," she said with a giggle.

"Yeah, he does," Will said from the office doorway. "I'm already finished with your computer, too."

My face lit on fire as he stood there and smirked, his hands casually in the front of his pockets, knowing exactly what we'd been talking about. I wondered embarrassedly how much he'd heard, until I thought of a way to wipe the smile off his face.

I stood up and headed for him, pushing out my breasts and rubbing them against the front of his chest, taking my time to get by him in the doorway. I heard his groan as his back pressed against the door frame.

"Thanks, Will," I said, mere inches from his face, then I put an extra sway in my hips as I went to my office, knowing he was watching my ass. I didn't expect him to follow me.

"Hey, Lacy, wait! I really am sorry about lying to you."

"Uh-huh."

"I am. That's…not me, and I wish you'd give me another chance."

"No, thanks. I don't want any more one-night stands," I told him as I went around and sat at my desk.

"I don't either. I want to take you out on a real date."

"Sorry but I'm not a fool me twice kind of girl."

"Come on. Dinner and a movie. I've got one I think you'll like. It's short and really hot. Takes place on an elevator …"

I gasped and looked up at him. "No! Please tell me you don't have that."

"I do have that," he said with his dimpled, cocky grin. "Did I forget to mention that I digitally store and manage the video surveillance for Dylan and Jules's building?"

"You do? And you have…that?”

"Oh yeah. And I've watched it a few times. My dick's getting hard just thinking about it."

I couldn't help but gasp again at his naughty words, glancing over toward my open office door. Will followed my eyes and took a step backward to close it. I wasn't sure that privacy was a good thing.

"Did I mention it also has full audio?" he asked, and if possible my face became hotter. I pressed my cool palms to my cheeks trying to soothe them, but Will just kept right on going, making it worse. "I'm not sure whose name you screamed more, mine or God's. But maybe you were referring to me in both instances since you said, I was 'a sex god.'"

"You're going to give me that video," I told him, unable to even look at him now.

"Oh, so you
do
want to see it?"

"No, I want it to destroy it."

"What? Why? It's too fucking good to be destroyed."

"If you've shown it to a single person I will sue the shit out of you," I threatened him.

"Whoa! I haven't shown it to anyone and I'm not going to show it to anyone but you."

"What if someone finds it? I'm trying to start a career in television. That video could ruin me!" I felt my eyes begin to water, from anger or embarrassment, I wasn't sure which. Probably a combination of both.

"Hey, calm down. My networks are all locked down tighter than Fort Knox. I swear, no one will ever see it, Lacy."

I shook my head and covered my face as the tears started flowing down my cheeks. "Like I can believe anything you say."

"Damn it, Lacy, please don't cry," he said, spinning my chair around to face him as he bent down in front of me. "I'm not the asshole you think I am."

"Please just leave," I said, not wanting him to see me upset. I didn't open my eyes until I heard the door close again.

Chapter Four

Will

Jesus. H. Christ
. What were the odds of running into Lacy again, and here of all damn places? I was stoked to see her, but could I possibly fuck up anymore with her? Nope, it was impossible. Now that she knew I'd lied to her, and that I had a video of us on the elevator, she'd never speak to me again.

I went to say goodbye to Jess, and maybe get her advice on whether or not I could fix the mess I was in with Lacy. She had experience with men who fucked up. Lord knows my good friend, her husband Tyler, did it on a regular basis.

I knocked on her open door and Jess turned around from her computer, then frowned. "No luck?" she asked.

I shook my head and then took a seat in the chair across from her.

"Why is it that when I finally meet a beautiful woman like Lacy I not only lie to her, but basically run her off the morning after we're together? Oh, and did I mention I just made her cry?" I asked, pointing my thumb over my shoulder to Lacy’s office.

"No! What the hell is wrong with you, Will?"

"Believe me, I wish I knew. I can't stop fucking up."

Jess laughed. "Sounds like Tyler when we first started dating. Do you remember how bad he kept screwing up? But I still ended up with him anyway, because no matter what he did, I couldn't help falling in love with him."

"I give up," I said, rubbing my hands over my face in defeat. "There's something I need to give Lacy though. You think you can get me her address? I won't stalk her, I promise. This's something I don't want to drop off here."

"Yeah, I can probably get it and text it to you," Jess said.

"Thanks," I told her, standing up to leave.

"Hey, Will. How's it going with Lacy?" Joe asked when he walked in and joined us.

"About as well as you and your prosecutor."

"What prosecutor?" Jess asked. Joe shook his head and gave me a pleading look.

"I don't remember her name. Gorgeous, petite redhead, sassy, and cut Joe down in about two sentences."

"Katie!" Jess exclaimed.

"Oh, is that her name?" I asked, laughing when Joe winced.

"So when do you want to head back to
Sin
?" Joe asked.

"Hell, I need to get a certain woman off my mind…so whenever you want."

"Tonight's college night," he said with a big smile.

"You really want to go out on a Wednesday night?" I asked. "And aren't you too old for college girls?"

"I'm only twenty-eight, jackass, which means I'm finally about the maturity level of college girls. Sadly, you've still got a few more years to go."

I laughed at his logic. "Then by God, let's go to
Sin
."

...

"Let's go" turned out to be famous last words.

"Is that…is that Zack Bradford. Holy shit, it is!" I told Joe with a punch to his shoulder. The two of us were sitting at the bar, and I was drinking like a fish tonight since I could cab it home.

"No way," he said, shaking his head in disagreement before taking a swig of beer. "What the fuck would the Wildcats starting quarterback,
the
best quarterback in the entire league, be doing in
Greensboro
on a Wednesday night?" Joe responded, before turning around to look for himself. "Holy fuck, that is him!" he exclaimed.

"Told you!" I laughed.

Women (and even a few men) were falling all over themselves to get to the huge, famous man, but he was undeterred. He headed straight towards a blonde on the dance floor. Not just any blonde, but one with long, strawberry tinted golden hair…

"Wait. Is that Lacy?" Joe asked. "Zack Bradford just
kissed
Lacy!"

Then it hit me. She said her ex's name was Zack, and I heard her tell Jess I was his opposite. You couldn't get any more opposite than me and football God Zack Bradford. "Fuck. That's her ex."

"No way! Her and Zack motherfucking Bradford dated? But they don't look like exes. My exes don't let me kiss them like that."

"That's real helpful," I told him with a glare.

"Hey, you know what you need to do - make her jealous."

I laughed even though my gut was twisting. "Right. Lacy's the hottest woman in here and she's with a fucking NFL quarterback. How the hell am
I
supposed to make
her
jealous?"

"If she's the hottest woman here, and she wanted you, then you shouldn't have a problem snagging another hot woman. And Jess said she heard that the two of you had mind blowing sex! If that's true, which I still find very hard to believe, then Lacy will be jealous to think another woman is going home with you tonight to be the recipient of those…skills."

"You are so full of shit."

"Hey, my argument is sound. If I'm right, you owe me a beer. If I'm wrong I'll buy you one."

"Deal," I agreed.

"Look, there seems to be trouble in paradise," Joe said, nodding towards the couple.

Lacy didn't look happy, now that he mentioned it. Her face was turned away from the quarterback and her mouth was set in a hard line, while her palms pushed flat against his huge chest.

"It's on. Who seems a willing participant?" I asked, looking around the bar.

"Her. The brunette at the end of the bar," he nodded in her direction. "She's on her third drink in like two minutes, so she's probably down for anything."

The woman was pretty, not Lacy gorgeous, but pretty.

"Wish me luck," I said, then made my way toward the end of the bar. If nothing else the location would make me more visible to Lacy.

"Hey, how's it going?" I asked the woman as I leaned against the bar. She smiled up at me, which was a good sign.

"Better now,” she giggled. “I'm Jasmine."

"Will."

"Will what?"

"No, that's my name, Will."

"Oh!" she laughed, clearly tipsy. "Well Will,
will
you dance with me?" she asked, then laughed hysterically again. Normally I wouldn't attempt dancing, but tonight, all bets were off. I'd had enough liquid courage that I'd try anything right about now.

"Sure. Let's go," I said, grabbing her hand to lead her to the dance floor. We didn't even dance a full minute before she launched herself at me, her tongue prodding my mouth while both her hands held my head in place. I thought I was going to suffocate before she came up for air.
Jesus
. Joe was right. At this rate she'd have my dick out and be riding it in no time. Not that I cared. The only thing I was worried about was whether or not Lacy had noticed, and if
she
cared.

When I glanced around I saw Lacy talking to Joe, and quickly looked away. What was her name? Oh yeah, Jasmine was covering my mouth again until I had to pull away to breathe. Looking back over I wasn't sure if I should flag down Joe to save me or keep at it. He gave me a smile and a thumbs up. What the hell did that mean? I broke away from the clingy woman and told her I needed to take a break to grab another drink, leaving her on the dance floor.

"What's up?" I asked Joe when I got back to the bar.

"Lacy is pissed at the quarterback. She told me she broke up with him and he's an arrogant ass that won't give up. When she saw you and the human suction cup she looked ill, and headed outside to get some air.'"

"Which way did she go?" I asked. He nodded toward the door leading to the patio. "Should I?"

"Hell yes. If nothing else she'll probably want you to help her get the message across to her football stalker."

I'd take whatever I could get, so I headed in that direction. Stepping out into the stiflingly humid night air I found Lacy sitting on the dirty ground. Her phone was in her hand, the backlight shinning on her frown.

"Hey," I said when I approached her. She looked up at me and then away.

"Hey."

"You okay? It looked like some giant football player was hassling you. Do you need me to have words with him?" I asked. She at least gave a small smile.

"He's a
giant
asshole," she replied quietly.

"He the guy you're trying to forget?"

"Yeah, but it's hard to do when he won't leave me the hell alone."

"I bet Joe can get you a restraining order."

She laughed. "I might consider it."

"You want to dance with me and try to get the point across? I'm not much, but jealousy doesn't really have high standards."

"Okay," she said, and I reached a hand down to help her up.

"And I mean, if you think you need to kiss me, I'll suck it up and go along with that too," I told her with a smile.

"It might come to that," she said, with a nod of her head.

"I guess I can take one for the team," I replied as I intertwined my fingers with hers, and opened the door to go back inside.

She led us to the middle of the dance floor, then wrapped her arms around my neck. I was damn thankful we'd caught one of the infrequent slow songs, Ed Sherran crooning
Thinking Out Loud
. I slinked my arms around Lacy's small waist, pulling her body tightly against mine. God, it felt good having her in my arms again, smelling like those damn cherries.

"I got the flash drive and your note," she said against my ear.

I'd put the elevator video on a thumb drive, deleted it everywhere else and left it for her, password protected with the penthouse code only she would know from the other night. I'd asked her to at least watch it once before destroying it.

"Did you watch it?" I asked against her ear.

"Maybe."

"You did!" I exclaimed, then laughed. "Did you get all hot and bothered watching it?"

"Maybe," she said again, which was another yes…but not one I was going to rub in.

"Whenever you're up for an encore performance let me know," I told her. "No more elevators though."

"Okay," she said softly. I pulled back to look at her face to see which she was agreeing to, when her lips met mine, tasting like those addicting fucking cherries. I couldn't even think of holding back as our tongues met and thrust in and out of each other's mouths.

"What the hell, Lacy?" a deep masculine voice interrupted over the music.
Oh shit
. The big dude could kick my ass ten times over.

"Zack, meet my date, Will. Will, this is my
ex
, Zack."

"Nice to meet you," I said, not lessening my grip on Lacy to even shake his hand. I wouldn't tell the asshole I was a huge fan. I wasn’t sure I was anymore.

"You'd rather be with
him
, than me?" Zack Bradford asked. I wasn't offended, since I was just as surprised by her decision.

"Yes, I would," she responded adamantly. "Can you believe oral sex actually goes both ways? I was shocked when Will demonstrated that little fact, and made me come three times on an elevator!" Wow, that was a low blow, but I couldn't keep the shit-eating grin off my face.

"Men with little dicks have to make up for their inadequacies in some way," he countered. I wasn't extra-large but "little" had never been the adjective used to describe my dick. I didn't even have time to respond before Lacy came to my rescue.

"His dick is
anything
but little, and I came just fine that way too. Why couldn’t you ever manage do that, Zack?" she asked, sounding like it was the God's honest truth.

"Whatever. You know you miss it," he said with a clenched jaw.

"Right, I miss it so much I broke up with you. We're done, so stop calling and texting and showing up. There's not a single part of you that I miss, especially not your cheating dick."

"Fuck you, Lacy," he spat at her, before he turned and started walking away.

"Not anymore!" she yelled back at him.

"Holy shit! You're a feisty little thing, aren't you?” I laughed. “Is all that true?" I asked.

She exhaled, then looked up at me. "Yes."

"Wow. It's nice to know there's one thing I'm better at than that big son of a bitch."

"That asshole could never be even
half the man you are," she said softly, making my heart swell up in my chest. "Take me home with you tonight."

"Hell yes. My real one this time," I told her. After she went and said a quick goodbye to the two friends she'd come to the club with, we started for the door.

"See ya, Joe," I said, when we walked by the bar on the way out.

"You owe me a beer," he yelled, and I nodded in agreement. Against all odds, he'd been right.

"Now, just a warning, my real ride is not as nice as the million dollar Porsche."

"But it's yours."

"That is true. And honestly, I've had so much to drink that I don't need to be driving. We should just get a cab."
