Queen
knew
that
everything
he
said
was
in
fact
true.
Initially,
she
had
no
intentions
of
going
to
Med
School
with
one
boyfriend,
let
alone
two.
She
also
realized
that
the
only
way
to
walk
away
from
one
was
to
leave
both
of
them
alone,
because
neither
one
of
them
would
be
satisfied
to
let
the
other
one
have
her.
Nonetheless
Queen
wasn

t
prepared
emotionally
or
physically
to
let
either
of
them
go.
Not
knowing
what
to
say
and
quite
frankly
deciding
that
it
was
none
of
Dr.
Hope

s
business
she
remained
silent.

I
guess
that

s
not
an
option,
huh?

No,
I

m
afraid
it

s
not,
at
least
not
at
this
point
in
my
life.

Queen
confessed.

Don

t
say
that
I
didn

t
try
to
warn
you.
My
class
alone
is
going
to
give
you
nightmares.

He
laughed.

You

ll
be
lucky
if
you
can
even
spell
sex,
let
alone
get
some.

So,
is
that
what
this
is
about?

You

re
worried
about
my
future?

Queen
asked
puzzled.

X
smiled,

Something
like
that.

Something
like
what?
I
don

t
get
it.

Actually,
I
was
hoping
that
there
might
be
room
for
me
in
your
future.

What?

I
like
you
Mye
Queen
and
I
can
tell
that
you

re
at
least
mildly
interested
in
me
too.

Dr.
Hope
…”

Call
me
X.

Okay,
X,
don

t
get
me
wrong,
I

m
extremely
flattered
but
you

re
my
professor.
Isn

t
that
unethical
or
at
least
morally
wrong
or
something?
There

s
probably
over
a
hundred
different
rules
about
faculty
members
dating
students,
I

m
sure.

Not
really,
I
mean
it

s
frowned
upon,
especially
as
long
as
you

re
in
my
class,
but
it

s
not
forbidden.

But
I

m
still
in
your
class.

Yeah,
I
know.
I

m
still
working
on
that.
But
we

ll
figure
that
out.
”
He
laughed.

What?
Figure
what
out?
There
is
nothing
going
to
happen
between
us
and
I
am
not
changing
classes
in
the
middle
of
the
semester.
This
is
crazy.

Queen
laughed.

You

re
not
attracted
to
me?

What?

Is
the
fact
that
I

m
white
an
issue?

Of
course
not...

Of
course
not

you

re
not
attracted
to
me

or
of
course
not
it
doesn

t
matter
that
I

m
white?

Look
I
find
you
incredibly
attractive
in
any
color
or
in
any
flavor.
It

s
just
that
I
already
have
my
hands
full
right
now
and
we
have
a
conflict
of
interest.

So,
if
you
weren

t
involved
and
I
wasn

t
your
instructor
you

d
go
out
with
me?

Sure,
probably

Yeah,
I

d
go
out
with
you.

That

s
all
I
wanted
to
know.

But
I
am,
and
you
are
and
this
is
just
crazy.

Look
all
I
want
is
to
be
able
to
spend
some
time
with
you.
You
know

have
coffee
a
few
times,
maybe
some
lunch,
one
night
dinner

and
hopefully
someday
breakfast
in
bed.

As
Queen
inventoried
the
tempting,
delicious
vanilla
shake
sitting
in
front
of
her,
her
mouth
begin
to
water.
It
was
quite
obvious,
judging
by
his
swagger
that
X
was
packing
a
lot
of
heat.
And
his
quiet
confidence
and
sexy
grin
indicated
that
he
knew
exactly
what
to
do
with
it
and
Queen.
Still
she
only
had
two
hands
and
both
of
them
where
filled
with
smoldering
hot
black
steel.
So
what

s
a
girl
to
do?

Before
she
could
answer
her
own
question
her
cell
rang,
it
was
Logic.
She
quickly
indicated
to
X
to
excuse
her
for
a
second
although
she
did
not
leave
the
table.

I

m
sorry
I
have
to
take
this.
