Queen
had
no
response.

What
could
she
say?

Should
she
admit
that
in
a
perfect
world
she'd
love
to
date
both
of
them.

No,
check
that...

In
a
really
perfect
world
she'd
love
to
date
all
three
of
them.

How
could
she
admit
that?

That
would
only
indicate
to
Logic
that
he
would
never
be
enough
for
her.

But
that
was
far
from
the
truth.

And
if
she
continued
to
see
Logic,
then
Paul
would
instantly
realize
that
she
never
was
truly
over
Logic,
which
in
fact
was
partially
true.

And
Teddy,
well
let's
not
even
go
there.

It
would
just
prove
to
him
that
Queen
was
just
like
him,
which
in
a
lot
of
ways
was
very
true.

~*~*~

Going
home
for
spring
break
was
exactly
what
Queen
needed
to
get
recharged
and
refocused
on
what
was
actually
important.

Logic
was
right.

She
had
been
severely
depressed
and
never
really
realized
it.

Admittedly
she
loved
dick,
but
lately
things
had
just
become
outrageous.

Logic
actually
had
the
audacity
to
suggest
that
she
start
without
him
one
night.

Of
course
he
was
kidding,
but
still
his
comments
ringed
true.

Normally,
Teddy
was
available
to
share
the
burden
and
to
help
lighten
the
load,
so
to
speak.

Unfortunately
he
was
in
Atlanta.

Queen
and
Logic
went
out
every
day
and
they
spent
most
nights
together
too.

For
all
practical
purposes
they
were
joined
at
the
hip
except
when
they
were
joined
at
the
pelvis.

They
were
like
a
newlywed
couple.

They
craved
and
ravaged
each
other
daily.

Queen's
parents
were
ecstatic
that
they
were
back
together.

Her
dad
was
already
bragging
about
his
soon
to
be
NFL
son
in
law.

Queen
didn't
have
the
heart
to
tell
them
the
truth.

Partly
because
she
didn't
know
what
the
truth
actually
was.

On
the
surface
it
was
evident
that
they
were
a
couple.

But
beneath
the
surface
Queen
was
struggling
with
her
feelings
for
two
other
men
who
were
equally
as
incredible
as
Logic.

How
could
she
tell
her
parents
that
she
was
juggling
three
men,
without
appearing
to
be
a
hoe.

Hell
she
couldn't
even
tell
her
best
friend
Jade.

As
circumstances
would
have
it
she
wouldn't
have
to
say
a
single
word
to
anyone.

They
would
soon
find
out
for
themselves.

Queen's
web
of
deceit
started
to
unravel
when
a
bouquet
of
two
dozen
red
and
white
roses
were
delivered
to
her
parent's
home.

The
card
simply
read,
"I
miss
you
and
I
love
you
more.

Can't
wait
to
see
you.

Love
Paul"

As
might
be
expected
that
was
more
than
enough
to
commence
the
inquisition.

Nothing
got
by
Queen's
mom.

And
expensive
flowers
and
a
profession
of
love
from
another
man
did
not
support
the
theory
that
Logic
and
Queen
were
as
happy
as
they
appeared
to
be.

"Queen
can
I
talk
to
you?"

"Sure
Ma.

What's
up
?"

"Something
came
for
you
today
and
I
wanted
to
ask
you
about
it
before
Logic
came."

"Okay...."

Queen
responded
confused.

"What
was
it?"

"Come
with
me."

Queen's
mom
said
as
she
lead
Queen
into
the
dining
room
and
pointed
to
the
gigantic
floral
arrangement.

"These...

Here's
the
card."

Queen
didn't
need
to
read
the
card
to
figure
out
who
the
flowers
were
from.

Paul
had
been
routinely
sending
her
flowers
since
the
breakup.

Queen
took
the
card
from
her
mom's
outstretched
hand
and
silently
read
it.

"Okay,
so
what
do
you
want
to
know?"

Queen
nonchalantly
asked
as
she
admired
the
flowers.

"Mye
Queen,
don't
try
to
play
me
like
a
dollar
store
flute.

Who
is
this
man?

Are
you
cheating
on
Logic
with
him?"

"It's
a
long
story
Ma."

"Girl,
you
better
get
on
with
it.

I
don't
have
nothing
but
time.

Now,
what
the
hell
is
going
on?"
