he must be insane, she thought as she tossed a few items into her overnight bag.  Miles Grayson says “jump”, and she asks “how high?”

Jeans, comfortable socks, a soft chamois long-sleeve, and some of her most expensive Victoria’s Secret matching ensembles.  She quickly scanned through her closet, selecting a favorite black sheath that made her natural curves look amazing.  She thought briefly about tossing in some pajamas, then decided against it.  She was going away for the night – possibly the whole weekend - with an experienced, sexy man.  She wouldn’t need pajamas.

A strand of simple pearls, matching earrings, garter belt, and six-inch spike heels went into the bag, too.  With a quick trip to the bathroom, she had her toothbrush, deodorant, make-up kit, and brush.

“Okay, I’m ready.”

Miles turned away from the mantle where he had been examining the collection of photographs on display.  There weren’t too many, just some of her favorites.  One of her parents, one of her and Nick at the lake, another of her and Holly.

“That was fast.”

Liz shrugged.  “I travel for work frequently.  I’ve got it down to a science.”

“Excellent.  Shall we?”

Liz took a deep breath.  Was she really going to do this?  “Yes, I’m ready.  Let’s go.”

he had heard of places like this, but she had never actually been in one before.

The carpet was a rich, decadent crimson; the walls were an expensive-looking creamy white with gold-accented wallpaper in a hedonistic Greco-Roman theme.  To the right was a cozy sitting area with a fireplace.  A large, sofa faced the hearth, flanked by two side tables and a coffee table.  A decent-sized flat screen was mounted to the wall.

Directly ahead was a Jacuzzi tub, the likes of which she’d never seen.  It was at least ten feet tall and in the shape of a champagne glass.

A few stairs led to a separate, glass-enclosed room on the left.  She blinked once.  Twice.  It was a personal-sized swimming pool!  Soft lights glowed from beneath the crystal clear water, sending dancing patterns across the walls.

More steps led to a second level, which included a huge circular bed adorned with a gold and white duvet and no less than six massive pillows.  Above, a mirrored black ceiling glittered with twinkle lights.  Another flat screen television hung on the wall so it could be easily seen from the bed.

Huge bathroom.  Small eating area.  Steam shower.  Cedar wood sauna.  Walk in closet.

And it was all in their room.

“A bit over the top, huh?” Miles said from beside her.

“Just a bit.”

She caught his sheepish grin in the
wall of mirrors
.  Thank God she’d been sticking to her diet and exercise regimen.  “I saw a brochure for this place when I took Brandon skiing last time I was in.  I was curious.”

Curious.  Which meant he’d never been here before, either.  And he’d chosen her to check it out with him.  She refused to read too much into that.

“If it’s too much –“

“It’s not,” she said quickly.  “Besides, it must have cost you a small fortune.  I can only imagine how much a suite like this runs.”

He shrugged, as if money didn’t matter.  Maybe it didn’t.  Based on the clothes he wore and the little bit she’d been able to glean from Holly, Miles Grayson was a successful businessman.

Liz picked up the small black remote and pressed a button.  Erotic moans filled the room in surround-sound as an adult feature lit up the flat screen.  She clicked the button off, turning red.  Miles chuckled.  “Well, that answers that question.”

The suite and everything in it was for one purpose and one purpose only – sex.  Lots and lots of sex.  And for the next thirty-six hours, she would be sharing this suite with Miles Grayson.

Yes, please.

A tingle of anticipation started in her core and radiated outward from there.  It crashed against a sudden wave of nerves.  What now?  She was no blushing virgin, but she’d never spent the night in a hedonistic sex cave with a man like Miles Grayson before, either.  The man oozed confidence and sexuality.

Her momentary thrill of excitement took a dramatic nosedive.  What if he found her lacking?  What if she wasn’t able to please him?  The last time they’d been together, Miles had done all the work, and she’d done little more than be swept away with the tide.  Surely he would expect something more than that...

“Relax, Liz,” he said soothingly, his big hands resting comfortably on her shoulders.  “Don’t overthink this, okay?”

Liz caught their reflection in the mirror.  Miles’ much larger body stood behind hers, his hands lightly massaging the tension away.  They looked damn good together.

He pressed his lips to the top of her head.  Liz closed her eyes and leaned back into him.  So solid.  So warm.  The effect was undeniable; the trepidation was swept away, replaced by desire.

“Are you hungry?” he murmured against her ear.

In that moment, Liz made up her mind.  She turned in his arms and cupped his jaw, secretly reveling in the slight rasp of whiskers.  As a general rule, she preferred clean-shaven men, but there was something incredibly hot and inherently male about that dark shadow gracing his strong jaw line.

“Yes.”

Before she lost her nerve, her hand moved down to his belt and began the task of unfastening it.  She did it solely by feel; her eyes didn’t leave his face.  The flash of heat, the bob of that sexy, masculine Adam’s apple gave her the strength and encouragement to slip her hands into the waistband of his boxer briefs.

Oh, my
.  She had known he was hard; she’d felt the rigid proof of his arousal against her back only moments before.  But she had underestimated just how thick he was.  During their last encounter, she had been so far gone by the time he revealed himself that she hadn’t accurately registered anything beyond that feeling of intense, exquisite fullness.

And she hadn’t foreseen the moisture already pooling along the tip, either.  Despite his calm exterior, Miles Grayson was every bit as revved up as she was.  That gave her confidence a tremendous (and much needed) boost.

Liz went down to her knees, taking his pants and briefs with her.  Miles sprung free with a low, guttural moan that had her dampening between her thighs.  Wasting no time, she circled as much of his base as she could and licked him.

“Jesus, Liz,” he bit out, his hands fisting in her hair.  He hissed and pushed his hips forward in a near silent plea.  The power of the moment filled her, lit her up like a nova.

She took him in her mouth and pushed impatiently at his shirt, baring his abs.  What a lovely view she had from here.  Lean, toned muscle lightly covered with dark hair, leading down to exactly where she was.  Exactly where she wanted to be.

The number of times she had attempted this particular form of oral pleasure were few enough to be counted on one hand.  A couple of experimental forays into this mysterious universe when she was in college; a few rather dismal attempts since.  In all honesty, it had never really been anything she enjoyed.  True, it wasn’t supposed to be a selfish act.  The intent was to give the man his pleasure, not take any for herself.

But that wasn’t the case with Miles.  For several long moments, she completely forgot about him and simply
feasted
.

“Enough,” he commanded roughly, tugging hard at her hair.  Enough?  No, it wasn’t nearly enough.  She tried to take him again, but he resisted.

“I’m not finished.”

“But I nearly am,” he said, his voice husky and so damn sexy.  “And I want to please you, Liz.”

oddamn it.
The woman was threatening to sever the very last thread of control he had with her wicked little tongue and soft, feminine moans of pleasure.  He tried to hold back, conjuring images of baseball stats, marketing reports, and the ugliest, fattest women he could imagine.  Nothing helped.  Within seconds, Liz pulled him back and forced him to pay attention.

Fuck.
He was so close.  He wasn’t a kid anymore.  If he lost it now, it would be a while before he was ready to go again, and he’d be damned if he left her hanging, made her wait for him.

“You want to please me?” she rasped, sneaking the opportunity to turn her head and lick the inside of his forearm.  A hot spike of need shot straight between his legs.  Who the hell knew
that
was an erogenous zone?

“Yes.”

“Then let me finish.”

He looked down into her eyes and was blown away by what he saw there.  Intense passion.  Raw desire.  Fierce need.  As if she wanted this as much as he did.

“Please, Miles.”

It was the plea that did it.  He kept his fingers tangled in her hair, but released his hold enough to allow her to surge forward.  She attacked him with renewed intensity, pushing him back against the wall.  His legs actually grew weak as she took him.  At some point, her sneaky little hand reached up and grabbed the remote, flicking the screen back to life.  Once again, moans and grunts filled the room, and he was treated to the erotic images of adult entertainment while she pleasured him with her eager mouth and hands.

It was so fucking hot.

He watched as long as he could, then tilted his head back and cursed.

“Liz.”

Incapable of saying anything more, it was the only warning he could give her.  Thankfully, she seemed to understand.  She shifted her weight, tilted her head to open her throat and surged forward.

Stars exploded behind his eyes.  Unable to hold back, he cursed again, spewing foul, vulgar words that put the dialogue of the adult feature to shame.  Liz stayed with him, clutching his thighs, rocking with him to extend the pleasure until his legs shook violently.

“Liz.”  Miles slid down to the floor, pulling her onto his lap.  He was breathing heavily, commanding his heart back to an easier tempo, while she snuggled against him and gave him a look of smug triumph.  “Thank you.”

She chuckled against his chest.  “You can thank me later.  Right now, I just want to enjoy this, okay?”

Okay?  It was
perfect
.

Chapter 12

M
iles laid his head back against the rounded edge of the pool.  The inner ledge was just the perfect depth for him to rest in the heated waters, submerged to just below his shoulders.  Liz reclined lazily against him, her back to his front.  It was a wonderful position to be in.  Her warm weight kept his baser urges in check, plus he got to view and play with her full, rounded breasts while they bobbed in the water.  Now that he had gotten the worst of it out of his system, he could take his time to enjoy and savor.

He smiled.  Bringing Liz here had been a stroke of genius.  He hadn’t been sure at first.  It had been an impulsive decision on his part, and it could have gone either way, really.  Liz could have balked, slapped him, and demanded he take her back to Covendale.

Instead, she’d dropped to her knees and... yeah.

Of course, he had rewarded her for that.  Many times over.  And he needn’t have worried about his recovery time.  Sure, it wasn’t as quick as it had once been, but as it turned out, Liz was the physical, feminine manifestation of Viagra.  He chuckled at the thought, the movement making her breasts dance for him.

Lovely breasts they were, too.  Full.  Imperfect.  And totally natural.  He couldn’t seem to stop obsessing over them.  He skimmed her nipples, felt her instant response, and started getting hard.  Again.

Liz moaned and turned gracefully in his lap.  She moved beautifully, like a dancer.  Over the course of the last day and a half, he had also discovered that she was extremely flexible, and had a great sense of balance.

She covered his hardening shaft, but refrained from taking him inside.  A stab of disappointment shot through him.  It was smart; he hadn’t thought to bring condoms to the pool, and unprotected sex was a bad idea.

Wasn’t it?

“Liz,” he began roughly as he dipped down to pull one stiff peak into his mouth.  She tasted of chlorine and hot woman.  “Are you on birth control?”

Her little rocking motions paused briefly.  “No.”

“Why not?”

She sat back, enough to pull her breast from his mouth.  “Because I don’t need to be.”

“Why don’t you need to be?”

She averted her eyes and tried to slide from his lap, but he wouldn’t allow that.  “Liz?”

“There are health risks involved with taking oral birth control when a woman reaches a certain age,” she said finally.  “And I don’t have sex enough to make it worth the risks.”

R
eality crashed into Liz with brutal force.  For the past thirty-six hours, she had been living in a dream world of sex and pleasure.  Since they’d arrived, they hadn’t stepped a foot outside the suite.  There were supposedly some great on-site facilities for guests – indoor tennis and racquetball, archery, mini-golf, even skating – but the indoor activities that Miles came up with trumped those, hands-down.

They hadn’t made it to a single meal in the restaurant, either.  According to the pamphlet she perused briefly, it had been built to resemble the Parthenon, and supposedly boasted an award-winning chef.  She hadn’t seen it.  All of their meals had been ordered through room service.

Hell, she hadn’t even worn a stitch of clothing since her outfit from Friday had ended up on the floor within an hour of their arrival.

She had been a complete wanton, exploring her sexuality with total abandon.  No wonder he made the assumptions he had.  She’d had sex with him the first night they’d met.  Had agreed to this weekend, barely knowing anything about him.  If that didn’t scream whore, she didn’t know what did.

“Liz, I’m sorry.  I didn’t mean to suggest anything.”

The pout in his voice almost made her change her mind.  Instead, she pushed away from him and kicked toward the other end of the pool.  Gripping the hand-holds on the metal ladder, she lifted herself out of the water.

“I know.  But it’s getting late.  We need to check out in less than an hour, don’t we?”

His reflection in the glass walls revealed his frown as she toweled off.  She could see him watching her.  Then his expression cleared and he sighed.  “I suppose.”
