CHAPTER ten

“Dinner was great. Thanks, Marcus.”

“You’re so easy to please.” He hugged her and brushed his lips lightly across the crown of her head.

“I love a good burger with fries and a cold beer. Now I’m in the mood for some candy. Maybe a lollipop of sorts.” She poked Marcus in the stomach.

“Oh, I got a lollipop that will keep you busy all night long,” he said, chasing her into the bedroom.

“You did say we were gonna get naked after dinner.” Taking her clothes off, she disappeared into the bathroom.

“I did, but why are you locked in the bathroom? Let me in.” He banged on the door playfully.

“Give me a minute.” When she came out, she wore the little white baby doll from Frederick’s. “I thought you might wanna see me in this one since you’ve already seen me in the other. Do you like?” Sydney twirled around like a ballerina.

“You were right. These were a waste, and you’re not going to be wearing that one all that long.” Scooping her up into his arms, he placed her on the bed.

Stripping down to his boxer briefs and covering her body with his Marcus propped himself on his elbows and looked directly into her eyes. “You truly make me the happiest man alive. We’re going to figure everything out and it’s going to be great. I promise.” He touched her lips, and then parted his slightly, barely kissing her lips on and off, increasing her need to kiss him.

She clasped her hands behind his neck and pressed her lips against his, separating them with her tongue, and kissed him until he gasped for air. It got hot and heavy after that. Sydney rolled Marcus on his back, straddled him, and began placing rapid kisses down his body until she reached “The candy shop”.

With her teeth, she grabbed the elastic of his boxers and pulled them down, releasing the most scrumptious lollipop she’d ever had. Taking it completely in her mouth, she began circling it with her tongue. When she reached the top, she sucked just the head. Then she gently massaged his slit with her tongue.

Their hands were all over each other. Marcus reached behind Sydney, untied her top, and threw it to the floor. Pulling her body close to his, he rolled her over to her back. He flicked her nipples with his tongue and moved down her belly. He placed a gentle kiss on her newly pierced belly button before he reached the waistband of her shorts. Pulling them down slightly, Marcus licked along the markings they left. Sydney wiggled beneath him with excitement. In one swift move her shorts were off and on the floor.

His nose pressed against her clit as he turned his head left then right, extending his tongue rapidly. If Marcus had hair, Sydney would have had her fingers entangled in it. Instead, she had the firmest hold of his earlobes, raising her hips every time Marcus moved his tongue. He drove her wild until she reached her first orgasm.

In a moment, Marcus pushed inside Sydney, and she felt pure ecstasy. Sydney clawed his ass. Marcus had Sydney’s legs pressed above her shoulders. After every thrust, Sydney gasped a louder “oh”.

After Sydney reached her second orgasm, Marcus rolled to his back and pulled Sydney on top of him. She lifted her hips slowly and thrust down, taking him deeper and deeper until she felt Marcus’s legs stiffen underneath her ass. She rode him like that until he came, milking him with her orgasm until the very end.

Completely exhausted and soaking wet with sweat, they lay side by side holding hands.

Later, when Sydney could feel the steady beat of Marcus’ heart against her cheek, she asked, “Babe, are you sleeping?”

“No, what’s up?” Marcus mumbled.

“Why do you have a housekeeper? Is your house that big? I know Rockford Park is a pretty upscale neighborhood.”

“I have a housekeeper because I don’t like to cook or clean. Even though I live alone, the house gets very dusty because I don’t have much in it, and Stella keeps it clean and full of good cooked food.” He rubbed Sydney’s shoulders. “You’re going to love Stella, and she‘s going to absolutely adore you.”

“Does Stella live with you?”

“She could if she wanted to because I have plenty of bedrooms, but she lives with her husband.” He gazed at Sydney. “I’d like to have a wife to come home to me.”

“How many bedrooms does your house have?”
Why does he keep beating around the bush? How fucking big is this house? Is it big enough for me and my kids?

“Six bedrooms and four and a half baths.” It’s all pretty much empty though, except for my bedroom, the garages, and my office.”

“I’m very confused. You have this huge house, but you don’t have anything in it? What’s the deal, Marcus? Are you OCD or something?”

“I fell in love with the house. It’s an old Georgian Villa. The office is completely decorated because I’m in it most of the time working. My bedroom has furniture and clothes in the walk-in-closet. The garages are full of my toys. The rest of the house is empty because I never use the rooms and don’t know what to do with them.” He looked a little sad. “I always wished I’d have someone to share it with. I would love it if you would share it with me.”

Sydney was completely surprised by his proclamation. “Where would I put my clothes if your clothes are already in the walk-in closet?” She smiled jokingly and waited for a reaction.

“I’m very serious, I would love it if you and the kids would come and live with me in my house. I’ll even let you put your clothes in the other walk-in closet,” he said, smiling.

“Oh, boy, I’ll get my own walk-in closet.” She laughed. “I would love to live with you in what sounds like a beautiful home, but I’m not sure my kids are ready to just pack up and move. I’ll have to sit down and discuss it with them.” She ran her fingers along his mustache. “I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be with you all the time.”

“I’m almost positive you don’t live far from me. That would mean the kids wouldn’t have to change schools. You’re already familiar with the area. The only thing that would change would be that you’d come home to me.” He grabbed her hand and kissed its palm.

“You do understand it’s gonna take some time. I can’t go home with you now.”

“However long it takes, I’ll wait. But don’t think for a minute that one day is going to pass when I won’t get to hold you and tell you that I love you.”

“When are you leaving Vegas?” Sydney suddenly asked.

“I’m leaving when you’re leaving. I have an open return, so I’ll be flying back to Philly with you in two days,” He took her face in his hands and kissed her. “I’m not letting you out of my sight.”

“I love you, Marcus Matthews.”

“I love you, too, Sydney.”

CHAPTER
eleven

Whether it was because of Sydney’s scent or the sun glaring through the window, Marcus woke earlier than he wanted. He was spooning Sydney, and it felt so good. His morning erection poked her right in the ass.

“Um, babe, I’m trying to get some sleep here. Could you put that away for maybe another hour or so?” Sydney said groggily as she bumped her ass back slightly.

“Ah, it’s got a mind of its own, and you’re not helping the situation by antagonizing it with your ass.” He bumped her back with his dick.

“Since I’m up now, what’s the game plan for today, Cruise Director?”

“First we’re going to have sweet morning sex,” he said, kissing the back of her neck, “then we’re going to pack up and head over to Paris.”

Sydney quickly turned over and faced Marcus. “What, we’re going to Paris? Paris, France?” Her eyes practically bulged out of her head.

Marcus couldn’t help but smirk, “No. The Paris Las Vegas Hotel. I reserved a pool villa for us today, and we’ll be spending the night in one of the suites. I originally thought we would do the Eifel Tower but after seeing your reaction to Paris, I have an idea. Maybe you’d like to marry me and go to Paris, France for our honeymoon? We could take the honeymoon when everything back home is settled.”

Sydney was stunned. “You’re serious? Are you actually proposing to me?”

“I’m not very prepared with an engagement ring. Oh wait.” He quickly got out of bed and dug something out of his pants pocket. “I do have this ring.” He held up the belly ring he had bought a few days ago. “I was hoping you would wear it as a promise ring, but now you can wear it as an engagement ring.” Marcus walked around to Sydney’s side of the bed and knelt down in front of her. “Will you marry me, Sydney?”

He looked so damn hot kneeling in front of her naked. She could feel her face flushing. “Yes, I’ll marry you.”

Marcus pulled the sheet off of Sydney, carefully removed her dragonfly belly ring, and replaced it with the one with the diamond. He kissed her navel and then her lips. “I love you.”

Sydney placed her hands on the sides of his face. “I love you, too. How about that morning sex?” She pulled him and directed him back into bed.

Marcus couldn’t stop kissing her face. He kissed her forehead, each of her eyelids, the bridge of her nose, the tip of her nose, each cheek, her chin, and then he concentrated on her lips. First he licked the top one, then the bottom. Slightly separating them with his tongue, he touched his lips to hers and circled his tongue inside her mouth to meet hers.

He kissed her neck, continuing all the way up to her ear and back down to her collarbone, giving a little bite there. Sydney moaned, pulling Marcus back up to her lips for a deep kiss. His hands cupped her breasts and gently squeezed. He felt her nipples becoming erect in his palms.

His touch ran down the sides of her body, giving Sydney goose bumps on her arms. She grasped his ass, pulling him closer to her sex, feeling the nearness of his barbell to her clit. It felt like an electric shock ran through her body. She wanted him deep inside her. Sydney wrapped her legs around his waist and tried to draw him closer.

Marcus had other plans. “Not yet, baby. I’m going to taste and kiss every inch of your sweet body.”

“I want you now,” Sydney whined, still trying to bring his body closer to hers.

Scooting out from under her legs, he grabbed the backs of her thighs and held her legs up while he kissed them. His tongue ran down to the lips between her legs, licking each side before thrusting in for a taste. She was so wet and sweet. He lapped at her slit as if he were eating an ice cream cone.

Shivers ran the length of her spine. Sydney grabbed the sheets beside her and thrust her hips into the air, forcing Marcus’ face deeper into her mound. She swayed her hips side to side, inviting his tongue back inside her. Invitation accepted. Once his tongue was extended, he used the tip to delight her G spot.

“Marcus, I need you in me. Now.” She reached for his earlobes, held tight, and pulled his face back up to hers. Kissing his lips hard, she said, “please.”

Marcus grabbed his shaft and stimulated her clit with the ball of the barbell until she was near the edge. “I want to feel you come as soon as I hit it.”

“I’m there now,” she screamed.

He rammed his dick to her root, and she came instantly. Marcus withdrew just to his rim and rammed it in repeatedly. Sydney held on to his ass as he pumped in and out, digging her nails into his skin as she began to orgasm again. The pain was pure pleasure, causing Marcus to reach his end.

Enjoying the warmth of being inside Sydney, Marcus propped himself on top of her and kissed her lips gently.  “This feels so right, you and me. Marry me tonight. We can go to the chapel in the Paris Hotel. Then we can start to plan the honeymoon that much sooner.”

“I have a feeling it’s gonna be a honeymoon with you every day. I really hope you’re not disappointed when we get back home, and I’m not available to you at your every whim.”

“As long as you promise me you’ll be in my bed every night, we’ll find time for the extra sexual activities.”

“I really want to say yes, but there are so many factors that are running through my head right now.”

“I’m so glad you’re finally telling me this. I was starting to worry about that blank look on your face every time I ask a serious question. However you want to handle this when we get back home, I will support you, even if it means a few nights of us being apart.”

“I will have to explain everything that has happened to my family and hope they don’t freak the fuck out. I’m freaking out. I’m getting married tonight.” She felt so giddy that she couldn’t contain her giggles. “I’m going to pass on the pool and take a little time to find a dress and maybe get my makeup done.” She kissed Marcus on the tip of his nose and got out of bed to get dressed.

After Marcus left to make plans for the day, Sydney went shopping for a dress. The first boutique she visited had the most eclectic looking wedding dresses. No run of the mill eyelet lace and satin sweetheart neck dresses with cathedral length trains in sight. She had gone that route once and wasn’t traveling it again. She searched through the racks for over an hour until she found exactly what she was looking for.

It was an ivory silk bodice with a single spaghetti strap over the right shoulder and a lace cluster of flowers over the right breast. The skirt was silk and covered with the same lace overlay, tiered with the back a little longer than the front. It was beautiful and sexy at the same time. When she came out of the dressing room, the salesperson was staring at her.

“Is it too much for a woman my age?”

“Actually, you look damn good in that dress. Your fiancé is going to love it, and we have a shoe that is absolutely perfect for you.” The sales girl turned and disappeared into a back stockroom. She returned with a pair of ivory silk, single strap stilettos with matching lace that wrapped around the ankles, “These are hot. Try them.”

“Yeah, my fiancé is gonna love these. Nothing higher?” Sydney joked, “I’m not real good in heels.” After putting them on, she couldn’t say no. They looked absolutely perfect with the dress.
I’ll just put them on before I go into the chapel. He’ll never know unless I go stumbling down the aisle.

On the way to the Paris Hotel, it dawned on her that she would need a wedding band for Marcus.
He’s not your typical man. He needs something different.
Once she got to the jewelry store and looked into the case holding the men’s wedding bands, she immediately knew which one was right for Marcus. A solid black titanium ring. Perfect and masculine, just like him.

When Sydney reached the front desk at the Paris Hotel the counter girl was expecting her. “Good afternoon, Mrs. Matthews. Your suite is ready. You also have a five o’clock spa appointment, and your ceremony is scheduled for eight tonight. Will there be anything else?” She handed the room key to Sydney.

I didn’t make a spa appointment. Holy fucking shit. I’m getting married at eight o’clock.

When Sydney entered her suite, all of her bags were already there. A basket of fruit, a tray of cheese and crackers, and a bottle of champagne were already on the table next to a note. “I miss you! Love, MM”

Sydney checked the time. She had almost three hours to kill. Unsure of what to do with herself, she brought all her bags to the bedroom.

After arranging her things, Sydney sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the dress. Unconsciously, she grabbed for the chain around her neck and began twirling the band around her finger. Once she realized what she was doing, she looked down at her left hand, specifically the wedding rings still on her finger.

For twenty years, the only time she took them off was for the deliveries of her babies. Philippe wore his rings around his neck on the chain, the one she wore now. Sydney knew she couldn’t continue to wear them after tonight. A tear rolled down her cheek. That chapter in her life was over. She needed to move on.

She removed the rings from her finger and the chain from around her neck. Still clutching the rings in the palm of her hand, she took Marcus’ wedding band from the box and tied it to one of the laces on her shoe. She kissed the rings in her hand and placed them in the box.

There was a lot to figure out when she got home, but she didn’t want to worry about that now. She had the entire plane ride home tomorrow for that. Today was her wedding day, and she wasn’t going to cry anymore.

Marcus was waiting when Sydney entered the spa. He wrapped his arms around her and planted a kiss on her lips in greeting. “I’ve missed you all day.”

“I did, too. Whatcha do all day, babe?” Her words were a little slurred from drinking the champagne in the room to settle her nerves.

“A little of this and that. I didn’t drink, though, that’s for sure,” he joked, holding Sydney steady. “How much of the champagne did you drink? I hope you ate something with it.”

“Yes, I had grapes and some crackers with cheese. I only drank, like, half the bottle. If you didn’t want me to drink it, why did you leave it?”

The hostess from the spa directed them towards the Jacuzzi room, “Don’t worry, Mr. Matthews. It will wear off once she’s in the Jacuzzi.” Marcus grabbed Sydney’s hand and followed the hostess to a private room where a bubbling Jacuzzi waited for them. The girl handed him two robes and left the room.

Before Marcus could even put the robes down, Sydney was undressing herself. He quickly undressed himself and joined her in the Jacuzzi.

“This is nice,” she said, resting her head on the back of the pool. Within moments, she fell asleep.

They had been in the Jacuzzi for only half an hour when the hostess knocked and advised them that it was time for their massages. Sydney bolted up when she heard the knock. “It’s over already? “I didn’t even get to be with you,” she pouted.

“It’s fine, we’ll have plenty of time to be together. Are you feeling better?”

“Much, I really needed that nap. I’ll make it up to you tonight. I promise.”

“Oh, I’m looking forward to it,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows.

The hostess led them into a room with side by side massage tables. They each took a table and lay face down. The massage therapists came in and removed their robes and covered them with towels.

Sydney heard moans from Marcus and wondered where the masseuse was touching him. She so desperately wanted to touch him, even if she could just hold his hand, but the tables were too far apart. At one point, she reached for him and was scolded by her masseuse.

Marcus’ masseuse kept reminding him to relax. His muscles were so tense. All he could think about was the masseur next to him with his hands all over Sydney. He hadn’t thought about that when he made the arrangements.

When their time was up Sydney and Marcus looked at each other and shrugged. Neither of them felt any more relaxed than before. The hostess led them to the locker rooms where they could shower. When they reached the doors, Marcus turned to her and asked, “Aren’t there any unisex showers?”

The hostess cocked her head and replied, “This isn’t that type of establishment.”

“We can just go to our suite and shower. No problem, babe.” Sydney interjected.

“I’d love to, but you still have a nail and hair thing, and a make-up do-over something. I’m going to shower and get a shave and some other things. I’ll meet you in the chapel at eight sharp.” Marcus kissed the tip of her nose and entered the men’s locker room before she could decline the additional services.
