"What about a ceiling?" Sydney asked.

"I like sleeping under the stars so that's optional."

"Oh," Sydney said, then her eyes unfocused slightly for a moment, then came back into the
here and now
. "Well, then we'll pick something we like and you'll just have to deal with it."

"Perfect," Neil assured her.

After going to their bank to register their accounts with new ID's and order new checks, they made as large a deposit as they could without the bank notifying the IRS or the FBI. Then they headed out to the college area to view the list of condos and apartments.

It was six o'clock when they came to the condo in Olympia Heights, which overlooked Westwood Lakes in the back with the balconies and the bedroom windows. The stairs were gorgeous, the master bedroom had a huge skylight, and the master bath had an amazingly large tub, with a separate two head shower. And, the renter was looking for someone to rent-to-own.

They looked at each other, looked at the owner, and said, "Let's talk business."

After over an hour of negotiation, they all agreed that simply buying the place with the owner carrying the paper was the best option for everyone. Shayla's read on the man, prompted her to ask, "Do you mind cash?"

"As in, U.S. currency?" he asked.

"Yes," she said, her face open, but expressionless.

"No," he said after a moment. "I can do cash."

"Then we'll make a one-hundred thousand dollar down-payment, and run the paper for fifteen years," she offered.

Watching him, she saw that he almost asked —
where is the money coming from
, but didn't.

"Deal," he settled on.

"We'll meet you here tomorrow then with the down payment and to pick up the keys," she told him.

"Ten o'clock?"

"We can do that," Sydney told him.

He looked at their wedding rings, and then said, "Do you mind if I ask you a question? It's personal."

"You can ask, and if it's too personal we'll say so, but with no harm and no foul," she offered.

"Good enough," he said. "My daughter, she's tearing herself apart because she believes she's a lesbian and it horrifies her. At first her aversion was agreeable to me, since I didn't want her to be gay either. But now... well she's hurting. Seriously hurting."

"That's terrible," Sydney said, her voice soft and soothing.

"I agree," Shayla added. "But, what's the question?"

"I've told her most of her life that gays were against the will of God and unnatural. I've even gone so far as to protest things like gay marriage. How do I tell her I've been an ass and that she should follow her heart?"

"Just like that," Sydney told him. "Exactly like that. Baby, I've been an ass, I was dead wrong. I want you to follow your heart."

"Meaning it," Shayla added, "would be helpful too. Think it through. If she follows her heart, she's going to be bringing home girlfriends, and they are going to be necking in her room. How old is she?"

"Just turned eighteen," he told them, deep in thought.

"I don't know if this means anything," she told him, "but my respect for you just went through the roof. Not because I have a wife. That's got nothing to do with it. I've found love like you obviously have for your daughter to be truly amazing, and rare."

"Thank you," he said. "And I'll take your advice and think this through, because you are right. I can't say that, and object to the obvious actions that will follow."

"People do it all the time," Shayla murmured, thinking of her own childhood. "But something I've learned just recently, is you never know what you're really committing to when you make that promise," turning to look to Sydney, she added, "but if you can keep it, it's worth whatever it took to get there."

On their way home, one of
Blu Rayne's
songs came on the radio, with Neal playing guitar. They turned it up, laughing and screaming out the window as they drove up the freeway.

In celebration mode, they purchased some wine, and Thai food, and brought it home to tell Neal the news.

They found him plugged into his laptop, working on mixes. His face was a mask of concentration. They took the food and wine into the kitchen and dished it into serving bowls.

"How was apartment hunting?" He asked, setting his headphones aside.

"Not as good as the ride home. We heard one of your songs on the radio!" Sydney burst out, then ran and jumped on the couch with him, kissing him and then putting his face into her breasts. "You're a real rock-star!" she told him.

He smiled and kissed her breasts and grabbed her ass hard enough to make her squeal. "Actually," he said, setting her to the side and getting up, "I need to talk to you about something."

"Yeah?" Shayla asked, setting the serving bowls on the dining table.

He nodded. "See, Joey called, from
Blu Rayne
? They want me to do an East Coast tour with them, hitting New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Detroit and then Chicago. They already have the venues, and they're going, whether I go or not, but it will help the new album sell better if I go with them."

"Wow," she said, and sat down. "How long would you be gone?"

"About six weeks, actually more like two months really," he told her.

"When?" Sydney asked, all the wind blown out of her happy time.

"End of next month is when we leave. I told him that we're just finding a rhythm with each other and it might not be the best time —"

"No," Shayla told him, and got up to open the wine, "No, that's bullshit. This is important, to you and to us. This is a career, and our first date told us you were this good, so we had eyes-open."

Sydney looked at her with wide-eyes. "But two months?" she asked.

"Sydney, when we get ready to get into our business, we're going to be traveling all over the place for at least the first year. This is a big step for him. This is what it's about. Like you said, he's a real rock-star now, and we're his wives."

"Can we go with you?" Sydney asked.

"Well, I asked that and the answer is no. There's no room, and we're moving fast from place to place. Joey patiently explained to me that he's tried with his wife several times. It never worked out because you won't get to spend any time with me. We'll pull into town, have a show that same day, crash exhausted in some hotel room or on the bus, and then drive like mad to the next city where we do it all again."

"Groupies follow the band," Sydney pouted.

"Neil, call Joey and tell him that you're going. There is no way we can call ourselves your wives if we hold you back on this. That would be the ultimate sucky thing to do!" she told him, and then glared at Sydney. "Now, come in here and eat, and let us tell you about our new place."

Sydney pouted through most of diner, but was coming out of it as they told Neil about the condo, the price, and the purchase.

"You're buying it? That's, well, cool," he told her.

"There's a room down stairs that will make a great home studio for you, with another room for our office. The master bedroom has a sky-light, so you can sleep under the stars, and a wonderful shower where you can fuck us against the wall. Also there is an amazing bathtub were Sydney and I can console ourselves while you're on the road," Shayla told him.

"There's also a two car garage," Sydney added, playing with her food. "It's not attached but it's right in front of the condo. I don't think there'll be a problem with getting your trike and the Shelby under cover if we want."

"Sounds like a good place. Perfect even. And it's near the college?" he asked, forking food into his mouth.

"Close enough. I was thinking about Vespas. You know, those Italian scooters? We'll have different class schedules and it would be nice to have separate transportation. What do you think?" she asked.

"I can fix them so they're a pain in the ass to steal. Their good scooters though. Fun as hell," he told her.

"Syd?" she asked.

"I could wear a bikini on a Vespa and look super sexy," she mused. "Even with a helmet on."

"You should probably tell your sisters this Sunday about your tour," Shayla told him.

"Yeah, the sooner the better I guess," he sighed.

"We'll still visit them while you're gone, and go to their games Neil. You don't need to be hard on yourself over this," Shayla consoled.

"You will?"

"Of course we will," Sydney told him. "Jeez. What kind of wives do you think you have for Christ's sake? Fuck!"

"I think I have better wives than I deserve," he told her.

Sydney grinned, "I'm going to miss you and I'm going to pout and I'm going to rape Shayla, but she's right. This is important. I want you to go. So, like she said, call Joey and tell him you're in. Do it now before I start pouting again."

After dinner, Neil took Sydney into the backroom and had animal sex with her, ending with a howling session of anal sex against the wall. She listened to them in the office, going over their current expected income, and the deal on the condo. Her abs were still a little sore, but she felt they would be fine tomorrow morning.

Since Sydney hated furniture shopping, she went online, and put together several orders for delivery next week. Some of their stuff they would take, but the place didn't go with the black leather couch and chair, or the black lacquer coffee table, and matching end tables. Their new condo was open with large windows and rooms. The living room area had a high vaulted ceiling with tall windows striping up the wall, letting thick shafts of sunlight pour like waterfalls into the room. They weren't living in a bat cave any longer. They needed colors and whites and plants.

When she heard Sydney climaxing with Neil's cock in her ass, Shayla leaned back from her laptop and rubbed her clit fast and hard, coming with her wife.

Chapter 15

Shayla woke Sunday morning close to eight and close to orgasm. Sydney was licking her clit and had just pushed two fingers into her.

"Oh sweet mercy," she moaned and then the orgasm rushed her.

Sydney held her in the throes of the orgasm for over two minutes and then finally sucked down on her clitoris hard enough to send her into climax. "Holy shit! Fuck! How the fuck?!" she panted her head spinning from the prolonged orgasm.

Sydney then got between her thighs and began to fuck her with her clitoris tribbing her into an insane state. Shayla bucked and arched and let out a fierce outcry, with her head shaking back and forth. "God damn it! Oh shit! Please!"

"Take it bitch," Sydney growled at her, and began fucking her faster and harder.

"Yes, make me your Bitch!" she moaned but then another orgasm took her and her hands clenched onto Sydney's ass. "Oh god!" she cried out through her wide open throat, her eyes rolled a like a wild animal's when confronted with fire, and clawing madly at the bed.

When Sydney came it was like all of Syd's love for her turned into liquid light and was injected into her heart. She gripped her lover and fucked her back, prolonging Syd's enjoyment of her, and then allowed Sydney to collapse on her breasts.

Running her fingers through Syd's hair, while Sydney sucked on her breasts, she looked to her right and found the rest of the bed empty.

"Where is Neil?" she asked.

"I don't know. He had me suck him off, and then got out of bed, put on his jeans, grabbed some socks and his boots and left the room. I think he left to do something."

"You didn't ask?"

"Shayla, I was still dazed from his climax. You know I get off when I suck him," Sydney told her.

"Sorry, I did know that," she soothed and let Sydney return to sucking her breasts.

She looked at the time. Every Sunday they went to visit Neil's family. Having come from a family without emotional support, or any other support for that matter, it was a treat for her. Sandy, Neil's youngest sister, and her were good friend's now, and often texted each other throughout the week. Occasionally Sandy would call and tell her about the latest boy she was in love with. Sandy, she decided, loved falling in love. It was quite cute. It was also a privilege given to her by Amanda, her mother, who Shayla respected a great deal. Amanda gave her daughters, and Neil, a solid foundation of emotional support. They were free to go out into the world and possibly get hurt, knowing they could come back home to her and lick their wounds.

She never had that, and viewed the world through the eyes of a child accustomed to being attacked by those who were supposed to love her. She had no trust, and no sense of reliance on anyone but herself. Her world was out to get her. Her world succeeded in hurting her many times a week. She was so lucky to have met Sydney.

"I love you Syd," she said softly.

Sydney looked up at her, "Thinking bad stuff again?"

"No, good stuff, like how lucky I am that you fell in love with me, even when I couldn't fall in love with you," she told her. Then, looking into Sydney's eyes she said, "I am in love with you now though. You know that right? If ever something were to happen and Neil left us, I would never need anyone but you with me."

"Neil's not going to leave us," Sydney told her. "But I know what you mean, and it melts me to hear you say that."

"Well, we usually leave at ten, so let's get up and get ready, unless you're going to fuck me again."

"Shayla, if we only got out of bed when I didn't want to fuck you, we would never leave this room," Sydney told her.

She laughed lightly, "I'm glad I turn you on."

"When we get back I want to use the vibrators on you again, alright?"

"Hmm, that was intense last time."

"Can we try something new?" Sydney asked.

"Hmm?"

"I got a pair of padded handcuffs. I want to use them on you this afternoon," Sydney told her.

Shayla bit her lip, "I've never done anything like that before. In fact, I've always been rather violently against it. Can I think about it?"

"Yes, of course. It's not fun if you're emotionally against it Shayla. I want to do it so you get more out of our sex together, not less."

"Alright, I'll think about it," she promised.

Sydney rolled off her and then kissed her. They made out for several minutes before they heard the front door open and then close.

"Neil?" she called.

"Yeah, it's me," he called back.

"Alright. We'll be ready at ten," she assured him.

"Good," he said as he came down the hall.

He stopped at the doorway and looked them over. "You two sure are sexy in the morning."

"Thank you lover," she told him, and got out of bed, heading for the shower.

Both of Neil's sister's teams won their soccer games, so Shayla asked Amanda if they could treat them with ice cream at a parlor across the street.

"The whole team," Shayla told her.

"I think that will be accepted, at least by the girls," Amanda smiled.

After the chaos of two girls’ soccer teams descending on the sleepy ice cream parlor, They went home with Amanda, following Neil and the girls on his trike.

"So, what's new?" Amanda asked.

"Did you see Neil's ring?" she asked.

"You got him that? I was looking at that when you arrived this morning."

"It's actually two bands that are tacked together to make one man's ring. One band is from me and the other from Sydney."

"Well it's eye-catching."

"Did you and Robert ever play around with things like handcuffs?" Shayla asked.

"Meep!" Sydney yipped in the back seat, and clasped her palms across her mouth.

Amanda didn't notice, or was pretending not to notice, which she had discovered Amanda was good at.

"Well, not handcuffs, but he did tie me to the bed several times," Amanda confessed.

"Did you enjoy it?"

"Yes, I did. It was — I know this is going to sound odd — but it was actually liberating."

She nodded her head and said, "You're right, that sounds odd."

"Well, think of it like this. You and Sydney are in bed together and making love. When she rubs you, or kisses you, you respond, right? You feel a sort of obligation to return sensations, to participate," Amanda explained.

"Well, yeah sure," she agreed.

"When you're tied up and can't use your hands, you’re allowed to simply enjoy the sensations. There's no obligation because you have no means to act. It's guilt free luxuriance," Amanda told her.

"Hmm, I never thought about it like that. I only saw the complete lack of power, and being defenseless," she confessed.

"Which is why you do things like that with Sydney, or Neil, not just anyone. Because you
are
defenseless, you
can
be hurt. And if you are worried about that, you're not going to enjoy the experience no matter what they do to you or for you," Amanda told her.

She was thoughtful for a while and then she said, "There have been many good things about falling in love with Neil, but meeting you and having you as a friend, and a mentor, is definitely in the top three."

Amanda looked at her and she could see emotions welling up in her, "Thank you Shayla."

"Thank you too."

At dinner, once everyone was at the table, Neil told his sisters and Amanda about the band tour.

"Neil!" Jill complained, "That's right in the middle of playoffs!"

"Yeah, and two months?" Sandy joined.

"I know, but Sydney and Shayla are going to video the games and put them on YouTube for me, so I can watch them in the hotel after the shows."

"You are?" Sandy asked, turning to look at Shayla.

"Yes," she told her. "We are. He won't miss a single play. I promise you."

"Aren't you upset that he's leaving?" Sandy asked her.

"I would be more upset if he stayed. He wants this. This is like his soccer. And this is his playoffs. Have you heard his songs on the radio?"

"On the radio?" Jill asked, looking back at Neil.

"Yeah," Sydney told Jill, "We've heard them several times now."

"Can we hear it?" Sandy asked.

Sydney said, "Sure, I got his whole album on my phone. Do you have computer speakers?"

In a few minutes, they had the computer speakers hooked up to Sydney's phone and Neil's album playing.

"That's Neil on the guitar," she told Sandy.

"Wow, this is so cool! I want your album!"

"Me too!" Jill told him.

"I'll get you both a copy," Neil promised them. "I'll bring it by tomorrow, while Sydney and Shayla are getting their pictures taken."

"You are?" Sandy asked.

"We thought it would be nice, yes," she told Sandy, and then flashed a warning look at Neil who chuckled.

"So, like family pictures?" Sandy pressed.

"Sort of. Yes."

"You're both so pretty. Do you think I could have one of your pictures for my wall?" Sandy asked.

"I think we can arrange that," she said, deciding they needed two photographers now. "Do you think we can get pictures of you and Jill in your soccer gear for our wall?"

Sandy looked to her mom, "Can they?"

"I think we can do that, yes," Amanda nodded with a smile.

On the way home, Neil stopped by a health food store and came out with a small bag which he handed to her as he got back on the trike. Shayla opened the bag and found a jar of coconut oil inside. She showed it to Sydney who shrugged letting her know she had no clue either.

She decided that with Amanda's point of view, being tied up sounded close to  movie-time, where she was rubbed and massaged by both of them without being expected to act. Their enjoyment was in the doing, not in the receiving. So, she stripped her clothing and waited for Sydney to come into the room.

Sydney came in and got her laid down on the bed and then handcuffed her to the bedpost. Instantly she felt a spike of fear and fought to control it. This was Syd, her friend and her lover,
her wife.
Sydney wasn't going to hurt her. Sydney was only going to have sex with her, and she enjoyed sex with Sydney. But the fear remained.

"Syd? I can't do this. Please. Please unlock me. Please?" she asked, her voice rising, and then into panic.

Sydney came quickly with the key and got the handcuffs off her without asking why, or making any comment at all. Then then she hugged her.

"You ok?" Sydney asked her.

"I just got scared. I don't know why. I was good with it, honest. I trust you, and I love you. You're my best friend and my wife. But the fear just wouldn't go away," she babbled and noticed that she was trembling. "I'm sorry Syd. I am. Can I make it up to you? Just tell me how."
