Now that I had the time to notice, I realized how weary I was. A few days ago, I had been sitting in my recliner planning my next career move. Now I was orchestrating a Martha Stewart Christmas Eve for Emma’s new beau, hosting my nephew’s holiday wedding, and juggling the myriad details of the UCC’s gala fundraiser.
