The Prince

Watching her swim and drink a margarita pleases me. I can’t wait to tell her that this could be her life. No, I’m not a pervert, and I wasn’t watching her when she was in her room. The security cameras inside the master suite are shut off for right now. If I do get to see her undressed, I want it to be because she chose me.

I was thinking of laying out my proposal at dinner tonight, but I need to see Lorelei now. One of my best men was on business in the United States, and I sent him to deal with the men holding Lorelei’s grandmother hostage. They ran like scalded dogs, and I don’t think she’ll be having problems with Vigo Ladmere again.

He’ll never contact her again if he values his life.

The royal family doesn’t make a habit of assassinating small time criminals like him, but I can always make an exception. Especially since, he went so far outside of his expertise trying to steal my jewels. I don’t want to make an example of him, but I will. Actually, I do want to make an example out of him, and I hope he gives me a reason.

Lorelei is out of the pool sipping her drink, and she looks contented. I think I’m going to make my introduction now. My phone rings, and I see that it’s my brother.

A deal we’ve been working on for months is about to fall through. Jamal says that some asshole Italian businessman is threatening to make things very uncomfortable for us. My other brothers are still much more comfortable dealing with things the old ways, so I know I need to get to our offices and defuse the situation.

Lorelei will have to wait. I brief her guards on the situation and tell them I’ll be back in time for dinner.

“You give her anything she wants. And, make sure she doesn’t get scared again. I don’t want to see her crying a second time.”

“Yes Majesty.” They say in unison.

She’s in good hands. These are my two personal bodyguards, but I want them protecting my treasure. I’ve already decided that she’ll be the mother of my children, and that makes her Najadin’s greatest asset.

Lorelei

I make my way down the hall and find Abir and Gabe watching soccer.

“I’m hungry. Is it alright if I make something to eat in the kitchen?” I ask hoping they don’t get mad when I interrupt their game.

“Aviva is in the kitchen. She’ll make you whatever you want.” Gabe says to me without turning around. “Have her make us some too.”

I walk into the kitchen and a beautiful young woman with dark hair and bright green eyes is sitting at the counter reading a magazine.

“Oh, hello Lorelei. I’m Aviva. Everyone here calls me Viv. I am one of the royal family’s personal chefs. I’ll make you whatever you like to eat. I’ve got a few things going for the feast tonight, but I can work around.” She says and smiles.

“Mac and cheese? I’m missing home a bit, and my Nana’s cooking.” Nana used to make me her special mac and cheese whenever I spent the night at her house.

“Well no promises, but I’ll try to do Nana’s specialty justice. Did I hear that big oaf Gabe say he was hungry too?” She asks and then laughs melodically.

“I heard that.” Gabe yells good-naturedly from the other room.

These people are so kind, and they act like family. I’m not sure what to think of all of this, but I know that I already feel at home. Except that my Nana isn’t here. She’s the only family I have left because my dad has been in prison since right before I was born and my mom died when I was twelve.

I let myself think for a moment how perfect life would be if I could just stay here in this beautiful house and bring Nana too. I have to push those thoughts aside, though because I’m here for being a thief. Although, none of the people around me are treating me like a criminal.

“Viv, where is the Prince?” I ask as I watch her move around the kitchen with the grace of a dancer.

“He was here, but I heard he had to leave because of business. I heard Abir say that he’d be back in time for your party tonight.” She says and smiles over her slender shoulder.

“My party?”

“Yes, the party Prince Syed is throwing in your honor. The reason you’re here? Oh, you didn’t know. I’m sorry. I hope I didn’t ruin the surprise.” She says and a blush colors her olive skin.

“Oh no. You didn’t I just hadn’t thought of it as my party until you said that.” I say to cover. I don’t want her to feel bad. She’s been so kind to me.

“It’s done. If you want to have a seat, I’ll be happy to serve you.” She says as she plates the food.

“That’s not necessary. I’ll take it, and I’ll take the men their food too.”

“You don’t have to do that, Lorelei. It’s my pleasure to serve you.”

Something is definitely up. I insist that I can take the food and thank her again. I take the tray of food out to the living area and hand Abir and Gabe a bowl. Then, I sit in a chair next to them and watch the game.

“You like soccer, Ma’am?” Gabe asks between bites.

“I don’t know. I’ve never watched it. But, you two seem to be enjoying it, so I figured I’d give it a chance.” I take a bite of the mac and cheese, and while it’s not Nana’s, it is delicious.

That was all the encouragement Gabe needed. He spent the next hour explaining the finer points of what he calls “football” to me. I have to admit that I’m a fan. It’s a good way to spend the rest of the afternoon.

The doorbell rings around five p.m., and Abir goes out to get a delivery. He comes back with a dress bag and a shoebox.

“Ma’am, your gown for the evening. I’ll put it in your room. You should start getting ready for the party.”

I go into my room and open the bag. The dress is royal blue silk, and the bodice is crystal encrusted. The shoes are Italian leather and a perfect match.

This gown is fit for a princess.

The Prince

The deal with the Italian shipping company is about to fall through by the time I arrive. Tempers are flaring, and I’ve got to get everyone calmed down because there is a lot of money on the table with this deal. The royal family doesn’t need the money, but we do need the good will that comes with a smooth business deal.

Capricorn Shipping does need the money, though, and we’ll make bitter enemies of them and their countrymen if we don’t make this right. We may not need the Italians right now, but the world is always changing. We may need them tomorrow, or we may need them a year from now. When we do, I want to make sure they are our friends.

“Gentleman, I think I have a solution.” I say loudly as I enter the room.

A hush falls, and I explain what I’m thinking. My assistant briefed me on the issues on the way over, and it seems simple to me. They just need a different perspective. Fifteen minutes later, we’re shaking hands and laughing. The deal is done, and I’m on my way back to my Lorelei.

The car can’t get there fast enough, but I don’t want to cause an accident. Once we arrive at the compound, I make my way into my temporary bedroom to get ready for the evening. I still haven’t even met my future princess, but I want to make sure I look good for her.

Once I’m dressed, I go to her room and knock on the door.

“Come in.” Says the sweetest voice I’ve ever heard.

I open the door slowly, and my breath catches in my throat. She looks like a princess. Hell, she looks like the future queen of my kingdom. I bow to her. I’ve never bowed to a woman in my life. I’ve never served anyone before.

I’d scrape at her feet for a moment of her attention.

Lorelei

Prince Syed is standing in my bedroom, and while I should be worried, all I can do is smile. He looks like a fairy tale prince in his tuxedo. My prince. That’s a silly thought. Though they keep telling me I’m a guest in his house, I’m sure that’s code for prisoner. After all, I’m still a thief no matter how much hospitality those around me provide.

“Your Majesty.” I say and bow.

“Lorelei, you look magnificent. Do you like the dress?” He says and smiles even wider.

“I do, thank you.”

“It’s the same color as the jewels you stole. I thought you would like it.” Prince Syed says and chuckles.

My heart starts to race, and I can feel a line of sweat beading on my forehead. He must see how panicked I am because he rushes to my side and places a reassuring hand on my shoulder. When he touches me, it feels like lightening striking.

“My dear. I’m so sorry. I was only joking.” He says but draws his hand back quickly.

When I look into his eyes, I can see that he felt the spark too. My pulse quickens, and there are butterflies having a party in my belly. I’ve never had a reaction to a man like this before, and this isn’t my first time in the same room with a rich, powerful, devastatingly handsome man. Maybe it’s just because he’s royalty. There has to be some explanation for the heat between us.

He’s the one.

I feel the words in my subconscious. It’s alarming and exciting all at the same time. I want so much to be here under different circumstances. I wish I could take the job back. I wish that I’d never done anything to hurt this man at my side.

“I’m sorry too.” I say and I feel a lone tear roll down my cheek.

“You’re forgiven.” He says and wipes my tear away with his thumb.

The Prince

I guess using the theft as an advantage is out now. I couldn’t help it. I do forgive her, and I understand why she did what she did. I wish she’d come to me for help with Vigo, but how could she have known that she could? No one will ever hurt Lorelei again as long as I live. Even if she doesn’t marry me, she’s under the protection of the Crown from this day forward.

“Are you ready to attend your party, my darling.” I ask her and offer my arm.

“I am. But, I don’t understand why any of this is happening. I thought that I was being arrested. Now I’m here in your home, and you’re throwing a party for me.” She says and casts her eyes to the floor.

“When I saw you on the security video, I felt drawn to you. I brought you here to protect you. You could be prosecuted severely for what you tried to do, and I’m not sure that my father or brothers would care about your reasons.” I take both her hands and look right at her for the next part. “And I have a confession. I brought you here originally because I wanted to use your crime to convince you to marry me. I’m a man that’s used to getting what he wants anyway he can, and what I want right now is you.”

“You were going to blackmail me into marrying you?” She looks slightly horrified.

“Yes, and I’m sorry. I decided earlier today that it was mistake, and I am determined to win you over. If you choose to be my princess, I want it to be freely.” I’m happy that she’s still holding my hands, and the look on her face is softening.

“I don’t know what to say. That’s pretty horrible, but then again, you also saved my Nana. Am I free to leave then?” Her question hurts my heart, but I should have expected it.

“You are, but I hope you’ll stay for the party.” It’s the truth, and I think that is the best thing I can give her right now.

“I would hate to disappoint Aviva. She’s gone to so much trouble preparing a feast. And, Your Majesty, I know about doing things you would normally never do to get what you want. I’m glad you decided to be honest with me.” She says and squeezes my hands.

“So, you’ll stay?” I ask her hopefully.

“Yes, my Prince. You said something about wanting me to be your wife. How can you know that? We’ve just met. You’ve never even kissed me.” She says and bites her bottom lip in a way that makes me crazy with desire.

I can’t hold back any longer. I’m normally the strong one in the family. I’m the one that stays calm and collected in the face of anything, but I’m losing control with Lorelei.

“I can fix that.”

I let go of her hands, and take her into my arms. I run my hand up her back and gently grab the back of her neck. There’s a moment just before my lips touch hers that it feels like we’re floating in space. I feel weightless and free with this woman in my arms.

Our lips touch and it ignites a fire in me. Lorelei is soft and sweet. I slight moan escapes her mouth and I’m instantly turned on. I’ve been aroused by beautiful women before, but never like this. I feel something primal and raw deep inside my core.

My manhood stirs and demands to be satisfied when Lorelei presses her body closer to mine. I can’t take her here. Not before she agrees to be my wife, and not right before the party with a house full of guests. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t be satisfied.

“I want to please you, Lorelei. Let me do that.” I almost sound like I’m begging.

This woman could ruin me.

Lorelei

I’ve never been with a man before. I’ve never had the time or met a man I wanted to let get that close to me. Prince Syed’s offer is more than enticing, though. The truth is, my body is buzzing and begging for his touch. I want to tell him I’ll be his wife right now, but something tells me I should wait for a formal proposal. It wouldn’t hurt to let him do what I think he’s asking to do, right?

“Yes.” I say barely above a whisper.

The prince picks me up and caries me over to the bed. He puts me on my feet at the end of the bed and kneels down in front of me. His hands take hold of the hem of my gown and pull it up to my waist. He groans with appreciation when he sees the lace panties I’m wearing. I take hold of the skirt, and he hooks his thumbs in the lace.

The Prince pulls my panties down and lets them fall to the floor. He grabs hold of my bare hips and pushes me gently back on the bed. His strong hands grasp my thighs and push them apart. I can feel that I’m ready for him, and I have to slow my breathing because the anticipation is making me light headed.

Prince Syed leans in and runs his tongue gently up each one of my nether lips, and my entire body shudders with pleasure. It’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before. His fingers find the folds and tenderly pull them apart. When his tongue flicks out from between his lips and makes contact with my center, it’s like fireworks exploding behind my eyes.

Every inch of my body is washed over with warm, electric pleasure. I want him to slow down and hurry up at the same time. My body wants this feeling to extend as long as possible, but it’s also demanding a frenzied finish. The need I’m feeling for his body and his skin against mine is overwhelming. He’s barely touching me and the Prince has turned me into a whimpering mess.

He starts to alternate between licking and sucking my sensitive nub, and it’s my undoing. I lose control and start to cry out. My hands knit into his hair and pull his face closer to my center while I grind myself against his chin. I need more. I need him inside of me.

Prince Syed stands up when my body starts to calm, and I sit up immediately. I undo his belt and unzip his pants as fast as I can.

“Slow down, my darling. We can’t make love right now. Not yet, and not like this.” He says softly.

“Let me taste you then. Let me give you pleasure, Your Majesty.” I beg him.

He nods his head, but I can tell it’s taking all of his strength to hold back. I pull him out of his tuxedo pants and take his head into my mouth. He moans and throws his head back when I swirl my tongue around the tip. I’ve never given a man head before, but I think I’m figuring it out.

Prince Syed grasps the back of my hair and tugs. My head tilts back, and I’m able to take more of him into my mouth. He starts to move his hips and I just hold still and let him use my mouth for his pleasure. He just made me climax, but what we’re doing feels so forbidden, and it’s making me wet all over again.

I slide my lips up and down his shaft while I use my hand to stroke the base of his cock. It doesn’t take long, and he goes over the edge. The saltiness hits my mouth, and I swallow it all enthusiastically.

Knowing I can make a man feel so good makes me feel powerful. I wipe my bottom lip with my thumb and go into the bathroom to freshen my makeup while Prince Syed straightens his clothes.

“Are you ready for the party my darling?” He asks and extends his hand to me when I come out of the bathroom.

“I’d rather stay here in bed with you.”

“Very soon, my love.” He says and smiles at me affectionately.

My love.
