“The infamous finger's of
Dan just got replaced with Rhet's mouth,” I sighed and looked up at
Rhet. “You can be an ass whenever you want, if you promise this is
what I get in return.”

Rhet laughed this time and
helped me sit up. I started to unzip his pants but he pushed my
hands away. I looked up at him, “Really, isn't that going to hurt?
I mean I would love to repay the favor.”

“Next time, I just really
wanted to show you I'm sorry. I don't want anything in
return.”

“Just talk to me next
time, don't get all clammy and ignore me. That was not cool,” I
said and stood to put my underwear back on. I was a little
embarrassed about my granny panties. I probably should have worn a
cute thong, but I wasn't planning on getting any action. I slipped
my pajama shirt on and looked for Rhet's shirt. “Where's your
shirt?” I asked and continued to look around.

He held up his torn shirt
and we both started laughing, “Sorry, you just kept talking to me
and all I could think about was making out with you, and I guess I
just snapped?”

“I like it when you snap.”
He chuckled and put his torn shirt back on.

We held hands and walked
out of the barn. I waved bye to Paint and I swear he grinned at me.
When we arrived at my cabin, he walked to my door, gave me a sweet
kiss, and promised to not shut me out again. I don't know what this
meant now, if we were on a path to a lifetime love, or if we were
just seeing how it goes. I guess we'll talk about it later. I told
him to have sweet dreams about me, but to maybe take a cold shower
first. He winked at me and said goodnight.

When I walked into the
bedroom, Chloe was playing solitaire and looked up at me. I shut
the door and sat down next to her on the bed, “So he doesn't have
magical Dan's fingers.”

She gave me a sad look and
started to rub my back, “I'm sorry, that sucks when they aren't as
good as they look.”

I started laughing and she
gave me a weird look. “But he does have Rhet's mouth!”

Chloe pushed me over, “You
little slut! You weren't even gone that long. He went down on you?
Shut up, you hate that,” she practically yelled while I tried to
shush her.

“Be quiet, my gosh.” I
laughed as she laid down besides me. “I guess Brian needs some
lessons because that was amazing. Now I see what all the fuss is
about.”

“It definitely can be. I'm
proud of you.” She hugged me and rolled over and pushed the cards
off the bed.

We turned off the light,
crawled in bed, and talked about guys for a while before we both
fell asleep. My dreams were filled with Rhet making up with me,
over and over again.

Chapter 11

The next morning Chloe and
I woke up a little early, and decided to go on a run. We were
outside stretching when Greg and Chloe's mystery handsome man
jogged by. They stopped, and came over to say hello.

“Morning, girls. You're up
early. Going out for a run?” Greg asked and smiled at both Chloe
and me.

“Morning, Greg. We are.
How did you guys sleep?” I asked and noticed Mr. Hotty Pants was
smiling in Chloe's direction.

“We slept great thanks, oh
and this is Camden, the best man.”

Camden stepped forward to
shake our hands. “Good morning, ladies. Thanks again for the tour
last night, we had a really good time in the sauna and hot tubs.”
He smiled and showed his really nice, really white, really straight
teeth. I could practically hear Chloe's swoons racing through her
head.

“Great, I'm so glad you
guys are enjoying yourself. We have a lot more fun activities
planned for you as well,” I said and started stretching my
quads.

Camden looked over at
Chloe. “Would you ladies like to join us? We haven't started our
run yet; we are only going about three miles. Maybe you could show
us a good trail?”

“That sounds great,” Chloe
said with a huge grin and ignored the pain I was inflicting on the
back of her arm.

“Perfect, let's go,” Greg
said and I had no choice but to start running with them. I didn't
want to be rude.

At that very moment, Rhet
decided he needed to walk out of his cabin and caught us just as we
started running by. He gave me a 'what are you doing' look. I just
shrugged and blew him a kiss. He grinned and pretended to grab my
imaginary kiss and placed it on his cheek.

“Is that your boyfriend?”
Greg asked and set a steady pace for us.

“No, maybe, I don't
know...” I smiled and blushed a little. Greg laughed and gave me a
knowing look like, 'oh that point of the relationship.'

“How about you, Chloe, do
you have a boyfriend?” Camden asked and jogged right by
her.

“I'm not really the dating
type. I live vicariously through Chloe's relationships.” We laughed
and she turned to look at him. “How about you, I bet you're a heart
breaker.”

Greg let out a small
laugh, and Camden slapped his arm, “No, not a heartbreaker. I just
got out of a relationship a few months ago, and I'm ready to be
back in the dating scene.”

He did not just wink at
Chloe.

I immediately interrupted
their 'moment.' “There is a trail up to a beautiful waterfall. It's
about 3.2 miles round trip. It's amazing and that way you will know
the trail just in case your party wants to come back and go
swimming later.” Greg and Camden both loved the idea so we took off
and enjoyed the jog together.

We didn't talk much,
because frankly it's not really that much fun to talk and run, but
when we reached the falls the guys and Chloe ooed and aahhed. It
really is majestic up here and we took a few minutes to cool down
and to enjoy the scenery.

On the way back we ran
until the last half mile, and then it turned to walking and we
chatted the rest of the way. Camden and Chloe had a lot in common
and my faith in her being able to stay away got slimmer and slimmer
by the minute. Chloe mentioned to them that we were able to get
Saturday night off and were heading to the city. I grabbed her hand
and gave her a, 'I will kill you in your sleep if you invite them
with us’” look and she didn't say anything after that.

When we arrived back to
the ranch I told the guys about our new menu and that we would be
serving breakfast burritos this morning.

“That sounds so good, I'm
famished. We will see you beautiful ladies around,” Camden said and
took Chloe's hand.

He better not kiss
it...

Kiss.

Damn it!

Chloe blushed and I said a
quick goodbye and grabbed her hand. She looked over at me and
couldn't help the dreamy look on her face. “Oh my gosh, he is
freaking hot.”

“This is not going to end
well is it?” I sighed and we headed back to the cabin to change. We
still needed to meet the Pattersons for breakfast before they
left.

“Not if he keeps that up,
I can only hold out for so long before I spontaneously combust, and
besides you and Rhet are going to be all kissy kissy, and I will
need someone to help me enjoy my time here.”

“We are not going to be
kissy kissy, at least not in the open, and you will be fine. I
promise.” When we got to the cabin we took turns in the shower and
got ready for breakfast. Chloe took a little extra time choosing
her outfit for the day. When she pulled out her denim miniskirt and
button up tank, I knew who she was dressing for. I went with some
jean shorts and a coral top. We both had our boots on, and looked
killer if I do say so myself. When we finished we were still a
little ahead of schedule so we decided to peek in on Tina and see
what she was doing.

Right when we entered the
back of the kitchen, Tina was just finishing up her breakfast
burritos with homemade pork green chili. It smelled delicious of
coarse, and both of our stomachs started rumbling. Tina shooed us
out of the kitchen and told us to go enjoy our breakfast out in the
dining hall. Did I mention she is amazing?

We found Rhet and Cole
sitting with the Pattersons. It looked like they had just gotten
there. We smiled and waved to each other and headed their
way.

“Good morning, you guys.
How was your night?” I asked and looked over at the two girls. They
were so pretty and really did look a lot a like.

They stood up and gave
Chloe and me a hug, and one of the girls said, “It was so wonderful
sleeping in a bed!” We all laughed and sat down at the table. I
looked over at Rhet and he smiled, and gave me a little
wink.

“I couldn't imagine
sleeping in the forest in a tent. It's sounds horrible, and more
like a punishment to me,” Chloe said with a disgusted look on her
face. Everyone turned their heads over at her, all with a very
confused look on their face, but when I mentioned she was from L.A.
they shook their heads knowing now why she was so
anti-camping.

We had such a fun time
eating breakfast with the Pattersons, and when we were all finished
we gave all five of them huge hugs and said our goodbyes. I told
Chloe that Carol should be getting to the ranch and we should sneak
over to the lodge so I could introduce them. Chloe is also a very
good judge of character, and I knew she would give me her honest
opinion.

When we arrived at the
Lodge, we walked up to Molly. “Hey Molly is Carol here yet?” I
asked and she smiled up at Chloe and me.

Chloe looked down at her
belly and pointed, “That looks really uncomfortable.”

Molly laughed and started
to rub the little life inside of her. “It is definitely starting to
get that way, but it's all worth it in the end.” I'm sure she
didn't convince Chloe one bit. “And yes, Carol is in her office.”
She pointed down the hall and answered the phone.

“Come on, I'll introduce
you.” I tugged on Chloe's arm as we headed down the
hall.

When we were at Carol's
door, we heard two voices talking and we both looked at each other
and smiled deviously. We put our ears up to the door so we could do
a little spying. We couldn't hear much but I could tell Carol was
talking to my dad.

I wondered why the door
was closed, but just when I went to pull away the door flew open
and Chloe and I both fell face first down on the carpet. My dad
rolled his eyes and stepped over us. Carol shrieked and put her
hand over her mouth.

“Oh my goodness girls you
scared me!” Carol said and helped Chloe stand up. We blushed and
acted like we were just about to grab the door when it
opened.

“Sorry, we really didn't
mean to do that,” I smiled softly at her. “Oh, and Carol this is my
best friend from college, Chloe.” I smiled and nudged Chloe
forward. Carol took her hand and asked if we wanted to sit
down.

“So what can I do for you
two?” Carol asked and went around to sit on the other side of her
desk.

I sat down first, “Not
much really, just coming to check in and see if you're ready for
your first today.”

“You're so sweet, and yes
I am! I have really been looking forward to starting this job. I
have a lot of work ahead of me, but it's what I love.” She smiled
at both of us and we just stared back awkwardly.

“So you married Tina's
crush?” Chloe blurted out and I said a soft, 'Chloe!' and nudged
her leg with mine. Carol had just taken a sip of coffee and spit it
out, hitting us a little on our face.

“Oh my goodness, I'm so
sorry!” Carol shrieked and stood up to get us a Kleenex. Chloe and
I wiped off our faces and I shot her a look, but we couldn't help
it and busted up laughing. When Carol sat back down she looked at
us, “Well I wasn't expecting that question. Tina is still upset
about that? It was our freshman year of high school. But, yes. I
did.” She said the last part quiet and put her head down. “If it
matters, I would take it back if I had the chance.”

“I'm sorry Carol, that
just kind of slipped out,” Chloe blushed and grabbed my hand to
stand up. “We will let you go so you can start your work. It was so
good meeting you, you seem really sweet.” Chloe said quickly and I
smiled and gave her a little wave as we walked out of her
office.

“Chloe! I can't believe
you said that,” I said and we giggled all the way out of the lodge.
Right when we got outside, Carol yelled for us. Chloe and I turned
and saw she was running out the front door.

“Lexi, wait,” Carol said
and walked quickly up to us. “Sorry, I wanted to tell you this but
you ran out of my office so fast.” She smirked up at us and we
blushed. “I am a certified yoga instructor, and your dad said
something about you being interested in starting up some classes
here at the Ranch?”

I quickly got excited and
ran up to her, “Are you serious? Yes! I am. And no way. Well, now I
know why you have such a killer body.” I winked and gave her a
small hug. “this is great, so yeah just think about when you would
want to offer some classes. Maybe now you can justify living out
here.” I smiled at her and she seemed genuinely excited.
