SPECIAL THANKS
So many people went into making this book possible. First of all, I need to thank Aimee, Tim, Anthony and William Brennan, who I owe at least a kidney each to at this point. You have done so much for me and you and have no idea how much I appreciate it. Thanks to Cameron Northey for your bad ass cover design and roommating skills. A very very very big thanks to Catherine Russell and everyone at the Snapple Theatre in New York for your support, for believing in me and for all of your help. You guys are the BEST. Super big shout outs to Luke Easley and Brian Knowles for helping me get sober and keeping me sober – without you, this book would have never been written.
There are so many amazing and supportive people in my life that I need to thank as well. Tom D’Angora for showing me that I could smile again and for of course, sharing the laughter and love. Evelyn Zilberman, Eric Saggese, Candace Holloway, Sally Schwab and every member of the Schwab family, Jason Cook, Michael Duling, Katelyn Sornik, Jennifer Tucker, Valerie Issembert, Krystal Roccaro, Damian Winters, Edward Donner, Emily Wilson (enter new married last name here), Maureen McDermott, Stephanie Buck (I don’t know if you are really bisexual now, but I know you kissed a girl in high school so as far as I was concerned the jury was still out on that one), Jonathon Kearny, Kally Duling, Kathryn Owens for believing in me and taking that initial chance on me – even though it didn’t work out, Laura Hoffman-Watson, Lori Graham, Marla Schaffel, Maya Days, Meg Dougherty, Meghan Thornton, Britney Spears, Nick Blaemire, Justine Lore, Sara Vaccariello and Tim Rogers.
I was also like to thank my amazing siblings, niece and nephews. Your continued support and faith in me keeps me pretty inspired and makes me feel so incredibly loved. I would be nothing without all of you – Tony, Kim, Jamie, Kevin, Nikki, Finn, Devon, Jolie, Reed and Blake – I love you all so very much.
Most importantly I would like to thank my parents Pat and Keith. If you hadn’t “done it twice” like my mother always says, I wouldn’t be here. You have continued to support me in good times and bad and never ever gave up on me. Hopefully the sales of this book will buy us a house in Boca Raton and we can move there forever. It probably won’t – so don’t get your hopes up – but thanks anyway. Love you guys so much!!! Also props to my TV mom Susan Lucci. You just get better with age – don’t you?
I would also like to thank any ex-boyfriends, second cousins or people in this book that I did not mention by name. Especially the citizens of New York and Washington D.C. for putting up with my terror and the good people down at the DCC. You know who you are – thanks for your help.
