Chapter Forty Seven

The work on the club went quickly. Steve gave Gary a call to invite him and Ray in to go over the new security. They were both impressed with the technology, even they couldn’t see where the cameras were. They were so tiny yet they covered every corner of the building. They could even stream the feed to their laptops at home if they wanted to.

Briggs had
also come up trumps with his hand selected team of guards to man the office around the clock. They were all ex-army mates, Gary knew that if Briggs trusted them then they would be ok.

Ray had shown their
highest profile clients the details so they wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. They were all happy, so there was nothing to worry about, everything could now get back to normal and the club could carry on as it always had.

Today Gary wanted to take the next step and go back
into his room, he knew he had to do it sometime and he knew he would be ok because Alex would be with him. First he would show Alex around the new computer and security system, he wanted her to see her plan in action.

He drove in as normal
, this time he’d chosen to do this alone, not needing Alex for support. He’d been back and forth a few times since Steve had been working on the building, and had been fine on his own.

He had planned on meeting Alex in the office
. He knew Melissa and Ray would be busy elsewhere, he walked past the new security office where two of the men were on duty, watching the screens, they greeted Gary as he walked in the back of the building.

“Everything
is running smoothly Mr Sterling, nothing to report”, said one of the men.

“Good that’s what we like to hear
,” replied Gary. Gary continued onto the main office where Alex was waiting. She was sitting on the sofa.

“Anyone could have walked in here you know
,” said Gary with a smile.

“It’s
ok, I have my own built-in security. I knew it was you coming,” she said.

“I forgot about that
, come over here and take a look then, did you happen to see the new security office before you came up here.”

“
I did, it looks good.” Alex walked over as Gary logged onto the computer.

“We don’t have to leave this one on all the time now
. Ray and I have our own passwords, mine is ‘bound angel’, I thought that was a good choice, don’t you?” Gary smiled at Alex.

“Can I have a go?
” asked Alex moving towards the computer.

“Go ahead
.”

Alex sat down and began checking all the background details on the system. “Everything
’s in order, just going to have a look at some of the hallways and rooms.” She began selecting different cameras, bringing up different live feeds.

A
s she worked Gary saw a big smile on her face. “You love this don’t you!” he said.

“This is better than I expected
, we can even switch them off and on in yours and Ray’s and Melissa’s rooms. I see that Melissa has left hers on.”

Gary looked over and could see Melissa lying
naked on the bed with a younger man. Gary turned away for a second.

“Yours is still on. L
ook,” said Alex, this time she looked up to check his reaction, this was his first glimpse of his playroom since the night she was stabbed.

Gary stared at it
, the room looked just how it always had, there was no sign of blood anywhere, all traces of what had happened were gone.

Alex
put her hand on his arm, “You Ok?”

Gary took a deep breath
, “I think I’m ready to go back to my room.”

“On
ly if you’re ready,” said Alex.

“I need to
, can you turn the camera off in there?” asked Gary.

“I
’ll turn it off, but I’ll leave the background camera on to record.”

“Why
?” Gary looked worried.

“Don’t worry I have programmed
it to be saved to a file no one but you can access, it was a little something I added, so you can watch your performance back.”

“OK
, just as long as you’re not risking getting seen.”

Chapter Forty Eight

Alex held Gary’s hand as they stood outside the door to his playroom. Alex was invisible but Gary could feel her hand touching his. He reached forward and opened the door.

The room smelled
of fresh paint, yet everything was how he’d left it. He went in and closed the door behind him, Alex came into plain sight still holding his hand.

Gary
stood still. His eyes searched the room. He sat down on the bed.

“See
, it’s ok, nothing to worry about,” said Alex breaking the silence.

“I know,
I know. I just think I wanted it to feel different somehow, for there to be a reminder or something,” said Gary.

“A reminder
, you don’t need that, we are meant to be moving on,” Alex knelt down in front of him and looked up at him. Gary stared back, waiting for Alex to take control. Alex shook her head, not saying a word, and sat back still kneeling, and rested her hands on her legs, palm up.

Gary knew the sign, he ha
d drilled it into her and others enough times, she was the sub, he was in charge. Gary hadn’t been sure if she wanted to do that anymore. In fact he enjoyed it when Alex took over, but if he was ever going to get back to his normal ways he needed to do this.

He
went to the chest of drawers and opened them one by one, getting panties out of one, and a bra out of another. He came back over towards Alex, she’d hadn’t moved.

“Put these on and then retur
n to this position,” commanded Gary.

Gary sat on the bed and watched her slowly take off her clothes until she
stood naked in front of him. He could have taken her right there and then but needed to remain in control. She put on the underwear and knelt down again.

“Now reveal your wings to me
,” said Gary softly. Alex let her wings slowly appear. They felt soft against her flesh, she kept them furled down her back.

Gary
stood behind her and undressed.

“Stand for me Alex
.”

Alex stood.

“Now turn to face me.”

Alex turned to see him standing
there naked. She loved his toned muscular body and would have had him right there with ease, but she wouldn’t allow herself to, as this was about Gary getting his confidence back.

She
saw that he was holding a blindfold, it was the purple one from her first time at the club. Gary smiled as he came so close to her that his naked skin nearly touched her, he tied the blindfold over her eyes, she felt his sweet breath on her neck. She closed her mind so as not to allow her senses to help her see through the blindfold.

Gary moved around to her back and gently touched her wings, he had always been a bit frightened of them and would
n’t allow himself to really touch them, but now he felt aroused by how beautiful they were, it added to the fantasy.

“
On this day, like on so many others, I realize how much I love you Alex. You are the most incredible angel, you have driven your passion inside my heart. Your smile, laugh, eyes and extreme sexiness do things to me that I cannot explain. I love you my angel,” Gary said, with such feeling that it made Alex tingle inside.

He took some
rope and tied her wrists behind her back. For a second his mind went back to that terrible night but he suppressed the memory as quickly as it came, he wasn’t going to let it ruin this moment.

He
stroked her wings and he felt them move under his touch, he heard Alex’s breathing get more rapid. She could feel him touching her, the wings were truly a part of her. He ran his hands right across each wing as she stayed still, just taking deeper breaths. He began to kiss down her spine, and Alex let out a deep sigh as though she’d been holding it for a long time.

Gary slipped his
hand into the back of her panties and let his fingers gently touch her bottom. Then he pulled them off, touching her legs all the way down.

“Spread your legs
,” said Gary as he kissed her ear.

She
widened her legs exposing her lips for him. Gary put his hand on her, feeling the heat radiating from inside her.

He turned his
focus to her breasts, he cupped each breast and freed them tasting each nipple in turn. Alex began to moan, Gary smiled, growing more and more confident.

Gary
placed her on the bed so that her legs were hanging over the edge, he began to tease his way up from the inside of her ankles up to her knees and even further, Alex cried out with pleasure. Each touch drove her wild, Gary could feel her skin tingling on his lips, he knew her orgasm was building.

Soon his mouth was on
her dripping wet lips tasting her juices, he closed his eyes and sank his tongue deep inside her, she began to quiver with delight. This was magical. Gary brought her to orgasm again and again. Then he climbed on top of her and took her blindfold off but still left her tied. He kissed her on the mouth so she could taste herself. Their tongues began to touch as they searched each other’s mouths.

Then Gary pushed his length inside Alex. Again he started off with slow movement
s, building her pleasure, and slowing it right down to stop her coming, and then building it back up again. He continued this over and over until they both couldn’t take it anymore. They both came convulsively.

Gary untied her wrists
and Alex pulled herself closer and traced her hands over his skin and began to kiss him again.

Gary was now back on top of her again
, this time he pounded harder and faster into her. Then Alex mounted him, and her wings stretched wide and she began to lift them off the bed, but neither of them noticed, Alex wrapped her legs around Gary holding him in place, they were near the ceiling and it was so intense, neither of them could stop and the feeling of floating just added to the excitement.

Gary came strong and hard,
and Alex held him as his whole body shook, she came back down and they landed on the bed, just before Gary opened his eyes. They held each other in perfect harmony.

Gary fell asleep. Alex lay
next to him, she began to get a feeling of something wrong in the room again, it felt cold and she could see the breath coming from Gary’s mouth, it was like winter had entered the air.

Alex knew something was wrong, she gently pulled herself free of Gary and stood up
, not moving too far from Gary. Something else was there with them, but she couldn’t see anything. She spread her wings like a protective wall in front of Gary, who slept blissfully unaware. Something deep inside was telling her she needed to protect him.

The air was getting colder, Gary was shivering, something came close to her and it was like it
was pushing to get past her but couldn’t move her. Alex was frightened to move, whatever it was, was trying to get to Gary.

Gary started to wake
up, Alex turned quickly to look at him and she climbed on top of him, covering him with her body and wings. Gary opened his eyes and looked at Alex and smiled, Alex looked panicked.

Gary’s face
quickly changed. “What’s the matter?” he asked.

Alex p
ut her finger to his lips to hush him, and waited. The pushing feeling had stopped and the room began to slowly get warmer. Alex moved off Gary and sat up.

“Alex
are you going to tell me what’s going on?” asked Gary.

“It’s ok, I just thought s
omeone was coming in, that’s all. I thought I heard a noise.” Alex didn’t want Gary to pursue this, not until she knew what was happening.

“I think it’s time
for us to leave for today, you were amazing,” said Alex.

“You weren’t too bad yourself
, but you can carry on massaging my ego if you like.”

Alex relaxed
, she knew whatever it was had well and truly gone for now, but she needed to find out what had happened. She knew she could check the video on the computer.

Chapter Forty Nine

Alex persuaded Gary that they’d done enough for one day, but he still had energy to burn, so he said he was going to the gym. He hadn’t been for a while and needed to get back into shape, now more than ever.

Alex knew he was back in t
he saddle and ready to carry on, and she was pleased. One, because she could now check the video without him asking any questions, and two, because she wanted him not to rely on her too much. They still needed their own space.

Gary left, telling
Alex he would meet her back at home. Alex went up to the office. Before she appeared she made sure it was empty, then she went to the computer and logged in using Gary passwords, quickly she pulled up the file with the footage from Gary’s room. She found the part where she and Gary were making love, she fast-forwarded to when he was asleep. She slowed the sequence down, the corner of the room was out of focus, then a blurred image moved across towards where she and Gary lay.

Alex moved the images on until she got to the part where
she was protecting Gary with her wings. She watched as the blur came closer to where she was standing, it tried to go through her, it was like it didn’t see her and it was trying to get to Gary. She wanted to find out Marie thought.

Alex
copied the right part onto a memory stick and deleted the rest so that Gary wouldn’t see it.

Alex
hadn’t seen Marie since they had talked about Marie’s lost lover, she hoped she hadn’t upset her too much. Marie was in her dressing-room working on a new costume, she didn’t see Alex arrive but she didn’t need to.

“Hello Alex, come in
and sit down,” said Marie.

Alex
went over and found a clear spot to sit among the materials that were scattered all over.

“How are you Marie?
I hope I didn’t upset you too much the other night, I never know when to stop sticking my nose in,” said Alex.

Marie turned and smiled at Alex. “It’s forgotten
, don’t worry, I will talk about it when I’m ready, but until then please let’s not mention it again,” she said.

Alex nodded
in agreement.

“Anywa
y, what’s brought you here today? You look worried about something,” asked Marie.

“I
’ve got something to show you, you know I told you something didn’t feel right when I was at the club the other day, well I think I have discovered what it might be,” said Alex.

“Ok
, what have you found?” said Marie.

“I need your computer so I can show you
,” said Alex.

Marie took her into the living room and showed her to the computer. Alex
inserted her memory stick and clicked on the file.

“I found
this on the video of when me and Gary were in his room at the club.”

Marie looked at Alex.

I really don’t want to watch you two having sex,” said Marie laughing.

“No
, I only saved the part I need you to see, don’t worry I wouldn’t do that to you.”

Alex
played the video for Marie. Marie watched it through a couple of times.

“What does that i
mage look like to you?” asked Marie as she turned to study Alex.

“That’s why I came to
you, it’s too blurred for me to tell. All I could see was that it moved across the screen, and when I was in there I could feel something pushing past me to get to Gary, and the room got cold,” said Alex.

“So you could only feel the cold of the room and sense something was wrong
, but you can’t see anything but a blur in the video,” said Marie.

“Yes
, why?” asked Alex.

“Well
, it’s another ghost, it’s not as strong as your image on the screen but it’s a ghost all the same,” said Marie.

“What d
o you mean not as strong as my image?” asked Alex.

“
You and I can see
you
in the film, but anyone else would only be able to see Gary, but I can make out that the other thing, the blur, is a person. I think you can’t see it and it can’t see you!” Marie said.

“Why
can’t I see the other ghost?” asked Alex.

“Because you’re
new to this life and your ability to see others isn’t strong enough yet, but it seems that you’re stronger than the other ghost as it couldn’t even sense you were in the room,” answered Marie.

“This person
, can you see who it is?” asked Alex.

“All I can tell you is that it’s a man, I d
on’t recognize him,” said Marie.

Alex thought for a moment
, she logged into the club’s system and found the folder containing pictures of the clients. Alex brought an image up of a man for Marie to look at.

“Is that him?” asked Alex.

Marie looked at the picture. “That’s him, who is he?”

“It’s Harry,” said Alex.

“What, as in the man who. . .” Alex stopped Marie going any further.

“Why would he be haunting Gary?” asked Alex.

“He must have unfinished business.”

“Gary
told him Tracey was nothing to do with him, that it was Ray, I don’t understand”, Alex put her head in her hands.

“He’s taken
his anger to the grave, and his memories must be mixed up, he remembers his anger from before that night and is still out to harm Gary.”

“I
’ve got to protect Gary, but how can I stop something I can’t see?” asked Alex.

“I will have to research this, I’m not sure, but you need to talk to Gary and keep him away
from there until we work out how to stop this spirit,” said Marie.
