He slanted his lips over hers again and kissed her slowly, savoring every inch of her wonderful mouth. She mewled when his fingers teased open her cleft to play with her plump clit. He moaned when his fingers slid lower and discovered how wet she was for him. He toyed with her privates and moved her hand to fondle his. Their combined noises of pleasure hovered in the steam from the shower head.

“Oh, Dante, I'm coming,” she whispered.

“Come for me, babe.”

Dante watched her shake and shudder in abandon, saying his name as she rode the euphoric waves to the end. Her vagina sucked his digits as it contracted and her release washed over his fingers hot and wet. He licked them clean when he was done, took his dick by the root and poised the tip at her entrance.

“Dante, don't. I'll get you off by hand, but you can't penetrate me.”

Her hand jobs were amazing, but somehow it wasn't enough this time. He needed to be inside of her and he could feel the demon fighting for control of his body. It wanted out. Thoughts of ramming his cock up into her and fucking her up against the wall until she turned her back on the light nearly drove him insane. She would enjoy it too. Was it really so bad if he pushed her into it as long as they both had a good time?

Of course it was. What the hell was he thinking? He couldn't force her into it. That would be wrong. Vile fucking demon.

“I need to be inside of you,” Dante told her. “Just let me go in a little. I can even stop before I finish. I just need to feel your pussy around my cock.”

“I'm sorry. I can't.”

“You don't want me?”

“Of course I want you, but I don't want to go to hell.”

He pushed his body up against hers and breathed onto her skin. “I promise you it will be worth it.”

Dante no longer knew which of them was speaking through him at the moment. He felt possessed and high with lust from having her near.

“I can't break my vow. You know that.”

“Yes, you can. Just break it for me,” he whispered, nudging his cock upward slightly so more of her slit was opened for him. If he just pushed a little harder, the head of his penis would be up inside her and the feel of his erection partially inserted in her cunt would be enough to cloud out the battle between right and wrong. She would fall hard and it would all be for him.

“Dante, stop tempting me. You know what will happen if we do this.”

“We'll be in heaven.” Dante moaned, feeling drugged with passion as he gave a slight push of his hips and felt the crown of his prick wedge up into her. He gasped, growing wild with excitement. One more hard shove and he would fill her, possess her.

“Dante, stop. Get your cock out of me.” Sonya tried to grab his shaft, but he curtailed her attempt by knocking her hand out of the way.

“I know you want this. Stop resisting and just feel. Let me remind you how good it is just to let go and feel the sinful pleasure washing over you.” Dante started to push another inch of his length into her when she slapped his face.

He pulled out of her and snarled. She looked scared when he grabbed her by the throat and glared down at her.

“I won't always have this soul, Sonya. Someday I'll lose it and when that day comes you'd better cry out to any god who will listen, because not even he will be able to keep me from getting to you,” Dante threatened her.

“What's gotten into you? You're behaving diabolically. Now get control of him before -”

He cut her off by squeezing her throat harder. “You do it. Put my cock inside of you. Let go with me.”

“Dante, let go of me before I'm forced to hurt you,” Sonya choked out. “I'm not going to break my vows.”

“Why not?” he whispered.

“Because it's wrong.”

“Why is it wrong?”

“Because God said it was.”

Dante growled at this and released her throat. He used the strength in his legs to push open the thighs she'd closed. “So there's a limit to your love for me, but not with him, is that it?”

She shoved his penis away. “I love you, Dante, but I can't put you before God.”

“I put you before God!” he yelled. Dante had no clue where this was coming from. He only knew he wanted to hurt her, make her pay for something, but what?

“What are you talking about?”

Even he didn't know.

“Get off of me!”

“I'm your god now.” He grabbed her wrists in one hand and gripped the root of his appendage with the other. “Say it.”

“No! You're not my god. Now get out.” She squealed when his cockhead slid between her folds again in search of her vagina.

“Say it, damn you!” he growled. “You're my slave and my mate. Now worship me, goddamn you!”

His cock pushed into her pussy, but it was a short-lived victory. She punched him in the face and yanked his erection out of her. He grabbed her again, flinching in pain when she slapped him in the nuts.

Dante slapped her hard across the face. Something jarred inside of him at the sound. He hit her. He actually hit her. That wasn't like him at all.

Sonya gaped at him as though she were looking at a stranger she couldn't trust. “What the hell has happened to you?”

Dante was just as shocked as she was. He willed his conscience back to the surface so the demon couldn't get a foothold again and hurt the woman he loved. “God, Sonya, I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me.”

“You need help, Dante. The demon is winning. You're slipping and you're going to bring me down with you.” Sonya appeared devastated by his actions and possibly by her subsequent words. “If you don't find a way to control him, I'm going to have to leave you. I love you with all my heart, but I won't break my vow. Not for you or anyone.”

Dante got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. He didn't even bother to wait until he was dry before exiting the bathroom. He just needed to get out of there before he went ballistic again.

Dante walked down the darkened street alone. His thoughts were only of Sonya. He needed her in his life, but it was impossible to see her every day and night without succumbing to the urge to put his hands on her. He understood that she didn't want to go to hell, but she loved God more than him and that hurt beyond words.

Dante rounded a corner with his hands in the pockets of his jeans and leaned against the side of a building with a heavy sigh. He remembered his life as Aramis, the werewolf, and he'd inherited the memories of this once-living man, Dante, when he became trapped inside this body with the demon.

But the demon's past remained in the dark to him. Dante recalled the demon's memories while he possessed this body, but where was he before that? Why his vehement vendetta to hurt Sonya?

“What was she to you?” Dante murmured aloud.

The answer came in a thought, a gut feeling. He didn't remember.

“Hello, old chap. It's been a long time, hasn't it?”

He looked up to see a man who looked to be somewhere in his thirties approaching. “Do I know you?”

“You did once, but I doubt you'd remember. My name is Jude.” The stranger extended his hand.

Dante didn't shake it. The man looked familiar, but Dante didn't know him. “You must have me mistaken with someone else.”

He turned to leave.

“Oh, I don't think so,” Jude called after him. “You just can't stay away from her, can you, Nimbus?”

Dante froze and glanced back over his shoulder. “What did you call me?”

Jude raised his crafty eyes as a sinister smile played with subtlety across his face. “You know, I finally figured out where Sonya lives and I've been watching the two of you.”

“Excuse me?” Dante clenched his fists by his sides, ready to pop the other man in the face if need be.

“You may possess a different body now and that werewolf trapped inside with you manages to hide you, but your aura is unmistakable. It wasn't until Hope had a vision of you trapped in an undead body with a wolf shifter, that I was able to go about searching for you the right way.”

“Who's Hope?”

“My slave. She used to be quite rebellious, but once I sucked the soul out of her, she became rather amiable. She has visions every now and then.”

None of this made any sense to Dante. “Why did you call me Nimbus?”

Jude smiled. “Because that's your name. Dante is apparently just a mask you wear. It's clever really. Sonya didn't even recognize you. Now all you need is to lose your soul and then we can damn her for killing our son.”

“Our son?”

“Yes. We had a double vaginal penetration with Sonya and Sully was the byproduct of that.”

Dante shook his head. “Sonya would never kill her own son.”

Jude pulled a flask from his pocket and took a swig. “She would to redeem herself. I should think you would know better than anyone the unspeakable prices she's willing to pay to win back her place in heaven.”

Dante felt a sharp spasm of pain in his heart. He knew all too well.

Jude returned the flask to his pocket. “It seems like a good deal of effort for such a small payoff. I never did like the place much, but to each their own. Water?”

He patted the canteen at his side.

“No thanks. How do you know so much about Sonya?”

“I'm your best friend.”

“You're a soul vampire,” Dante realized. “I think you're lying. She never would've slept with your kind willingly.”

Jude grinned. “Lethe did a number on your memory I see. This canteen contains water from the River Mnemosyne.”

Dante shook his head. What a loon this vamp was. “The mythical river of remembrance in hell?”

Jude extended the canteen to him. “It's not a myth. The river was bloody difficult to find, but once I did, I collected some water from it to help restore your memories if I ever ran into you again.”

Dante scrutinized his face. Odd that the vampire seemed so sincere when his story was that of a crackpot. “I don't trust you.”

A heavy, masculine voice approached from a few feet behind him. “Do you trust me, Dante?”

He turned to see his former business partner and friend, Drakkar, walking toward him. Dante's eyes narrowed. “I have nothing to say to you, Drakkar. Your butler raped Sonya and I can only imagine you did the same.”

Jude smirked. “Is that what she's calling it?”

Dante punched him so he fell flat on his ass. Drakkar grabbed Dante from behind and tried to hold him still.

Jude wiggled his nose and dusted his backside off when he stood. “I can see you're going to give me a hard time, aren't you? Very well.”

Dante broke free of Drakkar's hold when Jude approached and hit him again. They forced Dante's mouth open and poured water from the canteen down his throat. When he kicked Jude in the groin, Dante was struck over the head from behind. As he sank to his knees and his vision became fuzzy, he heard Jude tell Drakkar to commence the spell. Then everything faded to black.

* * *

When Dante came to, he was in a state of shock. He remembered. His name was Nimbus and he was an incubus. Sonya was his blood mate, but the bitch left him and their son, Sully, to become a black angel so she could be forgiven for turning her back on heaven.

Nimbus tried to move, becoming pissed when he realized his hands were shackled overhead in chains. Who was the crazy motherfucker who thought confining him was a brilliant idea?

He saw his soul devourer friend walking over to him. “How are you feeling?”

“Jude.” Nimbus finally recognized his longstanding friend. “Did I really have amnesia for one hundred fifty eight years?”

Jude nodded and stood in front of him. “I'm afraid so. You remember everything now, though, don't you?”

“Yes.”

“And Sonya?”

Nimbus stiffened. “Yes.”

His heart moved with tenderness for her and then hardened in anger. She would pay, but his conscience wouldn't allow it. The damned werewolf with a soul refused to let him hurt her like he wanted to.

Jude nodded over to the table in the corner where Drakkar mixed some kind of concoction and chanted in a low voice. “Drakkar's working on the spell right now. When he's finished, that confounded soul will be driven from you.”

“I'm glad to hear it,” said Nimbus. The wolf spoke through him. “No, damn you! I won't lose my soul! I won't hurt her!”

Jude grinned. “Bipolar much? How much longer, Drakkar?”

“About a minute,” he replied.

Nimbus jerked against the manacles like a psycho, trying to break free. He could feel Aramis going nuts inside of him. “Unchain me! I won't let you do this!”

“Yes, you will,” Jude countered. “And once you're normal again, I'm sure you'll agree that Sonya must pay for her crimes against her family.”

“What are you going to do to her?”

He grinned. “That's your jurisdiction. She's your mate, so I'll let you decide her fate.”

Nimbus flailed against his restraints. “Let me go, you fiends! I won't let you damn her!”

The wolf's protests irritated the hell out of Nimbus.

Jude too, looked exasperated by this. “Oh for god's sake, is that spell almost finished, Drakkar? I'm not sure how much more of this sweet, wholesome version of Nimbus I can take.”

Drakkar nodded. “Just a few more seconds and the man who's trapped in there with him will come flying out.”

“Good. Then we'll kill him, or better yet Nimbus can do it since he's had to live with the prude for so long now,” Jude decided.

Nimbus yanked against the chains and tried to kick Jude, but the vampire moved aside in time. “She's a pure angel, you vile devil! Burn in hell, both of you!”

Jude rolled his eyes and then snickered. “I'll excuse that last comment since you're not yourself right now. And as to your other comment, Sonya isn't an angel anymore and she's hardly pure.”

“I won't let you touch her! I'll protect her with my -” Nimbus gasped as he felt a sudden wave of pressure building from deep inside of him. His head went back and he felt possessed as a strange golden light came out of him before it became a man who was thrown onto the ground by an invisible force. It must be the werewolf, Aramis.

“Well, done, Drakkar,” Jude praised. “It worked.”

Nimbus saw Aramis roll over, appearing shocked by the new development.
