Authors: Robert J. Thomas
Thanks to
Dave Hile
from Hile Illustrations for the magnificent artwork on the cover and
Barb Gunia
from Sans Serif. They are both spectacular people who have this innate ability to capture just what I am looking for on the covers of my books.
Thanks to my dearest friend,
Michael J. Reddy Sr.,
from Immortal Investments Publishing has published many famous sports celebrity books including Gordie Howe, Bill Gadsby, Willie Horton, Otto Graham, Eddie Feigner and Billy Taylor. He will also be publishing books for Lem Barney, Johnny Bower, and many more. Michael will also be depicted on the cover of “Sin’s of the Father,” which will be the third book in the series. Thanks for always lending an ear and your continued support. Michael will be depicted in this series of books as Frank Reedy and he will be on the cover of the third book, SINS OF THE FATHER.
My wonderful, beautiful and talented wife,
Jill
. She is responsible for the typesetting and formatting of everything between the covers. In other words, she makes it all look good.
Michael J. Reddy Jr.,
another fantastic person and true friend. He is depicted on the cover as Tim Sloan, Jess Williams’ brother.
Mark Neal
who is depicted as Eddie Sloan on the cover. Thanks for your friendship and making Eddie Sloan come to life. You can see him ghosted in the clouds. He will also be on the cover of “Sin’s of the Father.”
Acknowledgements
Murry Kalinsky
who is depicted as a bounty hunter named Murry in this book. Murry is from New York and we became friends when we met in Cancun, Mexico. Murry recently lost his beautiful wife Judy and we will all miss her. She was a great lady.
Carl DiCono
who is depicted as a bounty hunter named Carl and the partner of Murry. Carl is from Atlanta, Georgia, and if you were to ever meet Carl and Murry, you would understand why I used them as characters in this novel. Carl was also from New York and now lives in Atlanta with his wonderful wife, Anita.
Thanks to all of my rough draft reviewers
Tim and Paul Oneill, Aimee Reddy, Bill Gabriel, Tammy Harder,
and my grandson,
Eric Lockhart
. They all helped in making the book better. If you find any typos in this novel, I’m sure it’s their fault.
A special thank you once again to
Ted Williams Jr.,
who depicts Jess Williams on the cover. When I asked him if he would pose for the cover on the first book, he did so enthusiastically and with a flare that only he could pull off. The illustrator and photographers were amazed at how well he responded to the camera and how well the photos turned out. So when I asked him to pose for the second and third book covers, he never hesitated, and once again captured just what we were looking for. He’s a perfect model able to slide right into character and a great friend.
