“Fuck me,” he ground out rocking against her core, hitting her clit with every pass and sending aftershocks of pleasure through her body.

Crashing his mouth on hers, he devoured her in that moment. If she were honest, he owned her completely. He’d possessed her body in ways she’d never dreamt of before.

Pulling away, he pressed his forehead to hers, both trying to control their chaotic breathing. Opening her eyes, she had a moment of surreality.
This was actually happening. He was really going to own me.

“You ready, sweets?” he whispered.

Nodding her head, he slowly let her body slide down his not once losing contact.

“I’ll meet you by the door. Hurry.”

Searching through the clothes in her closet, she didn’t think she had anything worthy of going on a date with Landon. Everything was old and either threadbare or had actual holes in it.

Deciding to just keep it simple with a black halter top that matched a pair of black, high-waisted cut-off jeans, she grabbed her chucks and jean coat hoping she didn’t look like a mess.

She was explosive. The way she lit up for him with simple, small touches blew his mind. He’d never met a woman as responsive as she was.

She was a perfect mix of fiery passion and innocence. If he were a betting man, he’d lay money that she was as innocent as they came and he couldn’t wait to find out.

“I’m shocked you got in her pants. Such a frigid little girl our Cecilia is
.

Why are people so stupid?
He wondered, turning to look at her roommate.

“Stop while you're ahead why don’t you?” he snarled.

“Hey, not my fault she’s such a stuck up bitch.”

“Brittany?”
Fuck. She’d heard.
The hurt in his goddess’s voice made him angrier than the assholes from that morning.

“Oh please, Cec. You are. You think you’re so much better than everyone else when all you are is some freak show that belongs in the circus.”

Crowding her roommate until she was pushed up against the wall, he told her, “Spread the fucking word, bitch. Cecilia is mine and anyone who says one more bad thing about her, I will end them. No fucking question.”

Pushing away from her, he went to his woman. Not slowing down as he approached her, he crushed her mouth under his, devouring everything he could and showing his possession of her.

As Landon pulled into his parking spot in the underground garage of the building he owned, panic threatened to take hold of her. She knew he was rich; she grew up with his sister tormenting her about it. But to see it up close was entirely different. Overwhelming.

“Cecilia?” Landon calling her name stopped her from going into full-fledged panic mode. Barely.

“I don’t know if I can do this. You’re so… You. And I’m just blah. How can this work?” She found it hard to find the words to explain to him what she meant, but he seemed to read her mind.

“You’re worried about what other people will think?”

“I’m worried… I’m worried I won’t measure up, Landon,” she whispered softly.

“How? Cecilia, I don’t give a fuck what people think of me or what I do or
who
I fall in love with,” he told her passionately.

“Love?”

Laughing at what she grasped onto, he told her, “Yeah, sweets, love.” His smile lit up his face quelling some of her fears.

“You’re in the public eye, Landon. A lot.”

“Your point?”

She hated him for making her say it out loud. She hated drawing attention to them. “My scars.”

“Who the fuck cares?” he roared. “Cecilia, the only one who seems to care about them is you. I sure as fuck don’t.”

“A lifetime of torment tells me other people do too.”

“Fuck!” Frustrated, he banged his hand on the steering wheel. “Let’s go upstairs,” he told her getting out of the car and slamming the door, making her flinch.

Climbing out slowly, she walked towards him as he stormed up to her. Gripping her hair tightly he told her again, “You’re fucking mine, Cecilia! I won’t let you go. Scars or not. You’re mine.” He punctuated each word with a sharp tug of her hair.

The pain was made bearable by the pleasure his forceful actions slid through her body. Rubbing her pelvis against him, she was unsurprised to find he was hard as stone. “Landon?”

“Yeah, Cec?” he whispered in her ear nibbling on the lobe.

“Love me?”

“For-fucking-ever, sweets.”

He hated how insecure she felt not only about herself but him as well, but he could understand it. They’d only known each other for a day, and already he knew she was meant to be his. She still had to play catch up with how she felt. He could wait; they had an entire lifetime ahead of them.

As they walked towards the private elevator leading to his penthouse, she seemed nervous and fidgety. “What are you thinking, sweets?”

“I… I’ve never… That is… Umm.” A blush stole its way up her cheeks letting him know exactly what she was nervous about.

“Nothing’s going to happen you don’t want, Cecilia.” He assured her.

“I know, it’s just… Earlier… You might expect things and that’s not me. I’ve never… Argh! Why is this so hard to say?” Frustrated, she ran her fingers roughly through her dark hair.

He had to hold in his laughter for fear of insulting her. “You’re a virgin?”

“Well, yes, but it’s more than that.” She wouldn’t meet his eyes.

A loud ding announced the arrival of the elevator. Guiding her on with a hand on her back, he swiped his card through the reader and they started the quick ascent.

He didn’t say anything on the way up, just stood solidly beside her. Watching her from his peripheral vision, he saw her looking at him with a questioning eye. She was wondering what he knew of her, what he planned for her, and most importantly, what he wanted from her. The answer to all three was simple— everything.

Shocked when she grabbed his hand between hers, he waited for what she would do. Drawing circles on his palm with one, she rubbed his forearm with the other. His muscles rippled with her soft touch. Anticipation drummed through his veins.

“You’re very… large,” she murmured finally.

“That so?” he asked softly, face still straight.

“Do you have tattoos?”

Smiling. “You’ll have to wait and see.”

Her fingers tracing his taut muscles were hypnotizing.

As the elevator reached Landon’s penthouse, her breathing picked up speed. She was ready for him. Maybe not the things his wicked eyes promised, but she wanted to please him. She wanted to give them a chance.

Her inexperience held her back from jumping him the way she wanted to. He was a huge man and until that moment, she hadn’t realized quite how much. He stood nearly a foot above her; his suit only accentuating his muscled arms and shoulders.

While she’d been tracing the bulging veins on his arm, she couldn’t help but wonder what kind of pleasure his strength could bring her. Surely a man as delicious as he was meant to bring a sensuality she’d never known before?

Pulling her behind him, Landon led her slowly around his penthouse pointing out the rooms and the view.
My gawd, the view is magnificent
, she thought in awe.

She stood in front of one of the many windows looking on as the sun began to set over lush green trees surrounded by a small body of water. The sun flickered like a fire lighting the night. She’d never seen something so beautiful.

Landon pressed his broad chest to her back wrapping his arms around her middle and laying his head on her shoulder. Together they watched as birds flew, clouds moved lazily, and traffic slowed for the evening. It was relaxing.

“I need you, Cec. Your body under mine. Your curves hugging me while I love you. I need to feel your heat, sweets. Are you ready for me?” His words left her a panting, horny mess in need of relief.

Turning in his arms, she watched as his eyes dilated with his need, shining bright with his want. “Yes, Landon,” she breathed out softly, knowing for once she was going to be loved for who she was.

She thought Landon was going to take her to his room but he pushed her up against the glass and proceeded to make love to her mouth. Tongues tangling, hands roaming, her entire body went aflame under his touch.

The softer his touch became, the harder her nipples pebbled and the more she squirmed to find relief. “Please, Landon,” she begged.

“Mmm, I love when you beg, sweets.”

Lifting her shirt above her head, he dropped it to the floor laying small kisses on her breasts above her bra. “Fuckin’ beautiful,” he mumbled against her skin.

Running his strong hands along her hips, he slowly moved them up her back. Popping open her bra, he slid the straps down her arms. When it would have fallen off, she quickly held the cups to her breasts. Hiding from his intense gaze, he growled deep in his throat, commanding, “Don’t hide from me, Cecilia.”

Lowering her arms, she let the silky material fall from her shoulders. Her scars felt like they were throbbing as his eyes landed on them. She had a criss-cross one going from the bottom of her left breast across her stomach. It was one of her worst ones. One no one but her had seen.

Landon was looking at her with a hunger like no other. Like she was his next meal. Like if he didn’t get a taste of her right that moment then he may not survive. It was a heady feeling that left her breathless for more.

It made her want to be everything he needed. And for once she felt like she could be.
