“If you’re a kindhearted girl who can control her inner nature then you can have that. That’s what we’re going to show the world, what Daniel is out here to do. To bring real peace between our races by showing everyone that it can be done. If you wish to be a part of that, Star, you may. All you need to do is behave yourself and show everyone you’re not an uncontrollable monster driven by lust.”

“Bullshit,” Clover snapped. “That’ll never happen. The world isn’t going to fucking change, humans won’t see us as equals, and like fucking hell
she’ll
ever be really loved for who she is.”

“Clover,” Doku scolded. Star lowered her head with ears drooping low while the harpy turned to Clover with a frown. “That’s so mean of you to say. She could be loved for who she is, she’s a very nice and attractive girl.”

“She tried to rape Dan twice,” Clover argued. “She wrecked the library and caused nothing but trouble with us. What’s so good about her? She’s nothing but a menace.”

“She made a mistake,” Doku defended.

“You’re all making mistakes!” Clover shouted as she backed away from them. “Dan isn’t going to change shit in the world, humans will never accept us for who we are, and we’ll never be a part of his harem!”

“Yes we can, Clover,” Doku insisted. “You and I can become a part of that.”

“No I can’t, he’ll never love me no matter how much I want him to!” Clover screamed at the top of her lungs. She then gasped in surprise and froze as Doku and Star stared at her in wonder. The jinx mewed quietly while Doku slowly stood up to face the elf.

“You want him to love you?” Doku asked. “You do have feelings for him, don’t you?”

“I don’t have feelings for him!” Clover yelled at her. She struggled to calm her breathing down while taking a few steps back then screamed and shook her head. “No, fuck this! Fuck this! I’m not falling for him, I’m not! He’s not a real man, he’s not right in the head, he’s… god fucking dammit!”

The elf quickly took off running into the forest, with Doku only taking one step before stopping as she lost sight of Clover who vanished into the night. Star slowly stood up behind her and saw the upset girl racing through the woods then turned to Doku with a curious mew.

“Clover,” Doku softly said. She looked to Star then back towards where the elf ran away before shaking her head with a tired sigh. “Please, stop running away from those who care about you.”

Racing blindly through the forest Clover tried to calm herself, her emotions suddenly becoming too much to hold in as she ran past trees and through shrubs with her quiver and bow slung over her shoulder. She stumbled over a rock, bounced against a timber with a grunt, and charged through some low hanging branches of leaves and twigs with a frustrated yell.

“That stupid human, there’s no way I’m going to be his next fuck!” Clover shouted with eyes shut tight. “He’s just a moron, that’s all! I don’t need this bullshit, I don’t need him, I don’t!”

Rounding a mossy boulder she slid and flailed about down a grassy slope before stumbling into a shaky run again, her breathing ragged while a tear was forming in her eye.

“You’re a fucking idiot, Dan! That’s all you are! So what if those bitches think they love you, it doesn’t change anything! Humans won’t love monsters! And monsters won’t love humans! We won’t! We won’t!”

After running aimlessly through the woods she passed through a shrub and suddenly dropped down a steep incline, screaming as she tumbled about while falling along the dirt and grass. Shouting obscenities and slurred curses the elf rolled down along the slope before flying off into the air as it turned into a cliff. She crashed into a tree and fell through the branches with loud snaps before dropping down onto the soft ground with a thump. Clover groaned with eyes shut tight while lying on her back, her world spinning before her bow and quiver fell from the tree and hit her in the chest. With a cough she turned onto her side holding her stomach, legs slowly stretching out on the grass before she tried to sit up while holding her head.

She paused then opened her eyes as there was light covering her and the side of the tree. Slowly she looked around to see that she had fallen right into a campsite. The campfire was burning brightly while set up nearby were a few tents along with a table and some chairs. A couple of horses were tied to a tree while staring at the elf in silence were several men dressed in darker clothing with leather boots and grizzly faces. A few had swords and daggers sheathed at their hips while those at the table who were in the middle of playing cards had an axe lying on the counter along with plates of cooked mutton and beans.

“What do we have here?” one of the men asked as they saw the elf staring at them in surprise.

Clover glanced to the side and saw her bow and quiver lying nearby, however only two arrows were still there after her fall.

“I think the good lord just dropped us a gift, boys,” another man laughed as they started leering at the girl.

Clover carefully shifted her eyes around to one man then another, seeing them all appearing to be strong and by the looks in their eyes not too friendly. No other women were in sight, and judging by the unkempt appearance of the humans it was easy to assume they could be bandits or worse.

“Hold it,” another cautioned with narrowed eyes. “Check out her ears. That’s no woman, that’s a monster.”

“Well I’ll be, you’re right,” a man said taking out his sword. “We’ve got ourselves a fucking monster snooping around our camp.”

“Oh no,” one jested as the men at the table stood up. “Guys, I think she was planning on raping us.”

“Shit, really?” another laughed as he picked up his axe. “What did we ever do to her?”

“I think that’s an elf. Yeah, I can tell by those stupid ears. I heard they’re supposed to be expert archers and elusive creatures of the forest.”

“And this one falls right out of a tree in plain sight?” another mocked with a sneer. “What a stupid bitch.”

Clover slowly looked down and closed her eyes, hands slightly trembling as she tried to steady her mind while the men began to gather near her.

‘This is what I need. Not Dan. This is what I’ve been waiting for all this time.’

“Please,” she quietly spoke. “Don’t… come any closer.”

Carefully her hand moved towards her bow. Before she could touch it two men quickly got close and held their swords towards her head.

“Ah ah,” one taunted shaking his head. “A little late for using that, don’t you think?”

“I’m only seeing two arrows in that quiver of yours,” the other laughed. “Now, I know you elves are supposed to be good archers, but how the fuck did you plan on taking us all down with only two measly arrows?”

“I wasn’t going to hurt you,” Clover pleaded as one of the men held their sword to her neck and angled her head to the side. “Please, have mercy upon me.”

“Mercy?” a man in back repeated. “You monsters don’t show mercy to us, why should we show it to you?”

“You know, your kind makes me sick,” the man holding the sword to her neck scoffed. “You think you can push us men around and take what you want, that we’re nothing but weak sperm givers to you and your fucking sisters.”

“I don’t think that at all,” Clover begged with fearful eyes. “Please, I don’t wish to harm anyone.”

“Is that so?” a bandit laughed. “Well, the rest of you disgusting monsters think that. You like raping and killing our kind, don’t you? Admit it. You just want to be in charge and have your way with all of us, isn’t that right?”

“No, I don’t,” Clover timidly replied. “Please, you’re scaring me. I beg of you to let me leave.”

“Aw, we’re scaring you? Guys, I think we’re being too mean to her, she looks like she’s about to cry.”

“Not going to lie, aside from her freakish ears she isn’t that bad looking,” another commented with a gleam in his eye.

“You know, you’re right,” the one with the sword chuckled as he eyed over the girl.

Clover trembled and timidly held an arm over her chest, the sight making all the bandits laugh as they saw her become more fearful from those words.

“What’s wrong? I thought you monsters wanted us men to fuck you.”

“No, I don’t want that,” Clover pleaded with a tear in her eye. “Not here, not like this. It would only be right in bed with my priestess’ blessing.”

“You need the blessing of your priestess to have sex with a man?” a bandit laughed. “Really now. Well somehow I don’t think she’ll mind if we have some fun with you.”

“And if not, like hell if we care,” another reasoned with a shrug.

“No, please don’t!” Clover cried out as she quickly lunged away and tried crawling on her hands and knees. The men grabbed her legs and dragged her back, the elf screaming and clawing at the dirt while the bandits laughed at her.

“Let me go! Please don’t!” Clover pleaded as the men hauled her over into the camp. Two others lifted her up by the arms and dropped her onto the table, the elf thrashing around while screaming as the men held her in place and gathered around.

“No, you can’t!” Clover cried out as the men yanked off her boots then her skirt. “It’s not right, I can’t like this! Please, have mercy!”

“It’s almost like she doesn’t want to get raped herself,” a bandit laughed, causing the others to join in as they yanked off her cloak. The girl screamed and lightly flailed around as they had no trouble getting her tunic off and then her shirt. They shoved her back down onto the table and yanked off her panties, getting a round of catcalls and whistles as Clover held her hands down between her legs and shook her head wildly.

“Please don’t do this! I can’t mate with a man like this! If I get pregnant without her blessing my priestess will punish me! I’ll be an outcast in my home!”

“Oh no, is that true?” one of the men mocked while they pulled her hands over her head and tied them together.

“Gosh, boys. If we knock her up we’ll be ruining her life,” another jokingly warned, with the men laughing amusedly as Clover screamed and tried to kick free.

“Help! Someone help me!” Clover cried out while feigning tears. “They’re going to rape me! Oh dear lord, help!”

She screamed and shook her head before she was slapped across the face hard, the elf grunting in pain then timidly watching as the men held her legs apart while keeping her at the edge of the table.

“Look at that pussy, looks just as good as human one, don’t you guys think?” one of the men laughed.

“Just put a bag over her head so we can pretend she’s normal.”

“Nah, I want to see her cry and beg more. C’mon, you stupid bitch, say you’re sorry enough and maybe we’ll let you go.”

“Please, I’m so sorry,” Clover pleaded while she was held down and spread out. “I promise I’ll never go near another man again, I swear. Just let me go, I beg of you.”

“Hmm, nope. Not feeling it,” a man countered shaking his head. “Alright, we gave her a chance to apologize. Let’s fuck her until the sun comes up and see how she likes being raped.”

“No, you can’t…” Clover breathed out fearfully.

“Oh, we can,” a bandit chuckled as he lowered his pants and brought out his erection. He pressed it against her exposed flesh and rubbed it back and forth, causing Clover to gasp in shock as she stared at it with wide eyes.

“Oh god…
NO!
” she wailed while showing fright.

‘C’mon, you assholes. Just fuck me and get it over with.’

She looked around at seeing the men laughing at her while keeping her pinned on the table. One of them was pulling on her pigtail while the one holding her arms back was gripping them painfully tight. The ones holding her legs apart were doing so very roughly and at an angle that was uncomfortable for her. Another slapped her face while one of them struck across her chest and nipples, the elf screaming from the touch then struggling to hold in her growls and words so not to seem out of character.

‘You fucking pieces of trash, just… just get on with it already!’

Clover closed her eyes and tried to remain focused. She wanted to push all other thoughts out of her head, to endure what she had chosen to endure in order to get pregnant with a daughter.

‘This is the only way for me, the only way for elves to survive. This is all I can have. This is all I want.’

It was then the world became muffled to her as a thought refused to leave her mind.

‘Dan…’

The image of him holding her after she had been struck by Kitten’s blade came to her, the way he was heartbroken to see her in such a state.

‘No… stop it…’

The way he carried her when she was wounded, refusing to let her even try to stand in her condition despite her flustered protests.

‘He’s not…’

The way it felt when she kissed him, the warm feeling that she got after she gave him the most affectionate kiss she could muster after being told by her former love to open up again.

‘He’s… not…’

And his smile. The same one he showed her and the other girls, the one he always had when he spoke to them in a gentle and caring way.

‘He’s not right…’

The times he stood up for those he cared about in front of her, first when defending Luna from herself, then when he attacked a succubus all to save Triska, and then when he fought against Ember and saved Alyssa’s life. How even though he could be gentle and carefree he still had the side of him that was like a knight, ready to defend those close to him without fear or even a second thought.

‘He can’t be…’

The sight of him punching Mika in the face, for not only attacking and harming his mates but also for Clover after the way the hunters made her feel, replayed in her mind. The way he would defend her even after how she always treated him suddenly became stuck in her head despite her efforts to push it away.

‘Dan…’

Slowly Clover opened her eyes, the sight of the bandits gathered around her in the fire’s light becoming clear as the world came into focus again. She felt the men pulling and handling her roughly, saw no kindness or remorse in their eyes, and began to feel something painful growing in her chest.
