“Cohen, here,” she whispers into my mouth, and I pull back slightly.

“Baby, are you sure?” I growl, my dick now straining against her fingertips. “You said no furniture.”

“The wall doesn’t count.” She rocks her hips into me, and I groan, knowing that, after what felt like three hours of foreplay in the car, I’m not going to last long if this is how she wants me. “Press me up against the wall and fuck me. Hard.”

Holy fuck. I love it when she talks like this. All weekend, I’ve been trying to cherish her body as we made love, making it last as long as possible. But right now? The idea of a quick, hard fuck up against the wall has my cock rock hard. Her legs tighten around my waist, and just as I’m about to make good on her request, I hear a throat clearing.

“What the fuck?” I spin Andi around and make sure her clothes are all in place before flipping on the light switch.

Standing at the end of the hall is Teddy, looking sheepish in nothing but a pair of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles boxers.

“Teddy, what the fuck?!” Andi echoes, sliding down my body until her feet are on the ground.

“Umm, dude,” Teddy says, pointing at my groin. “Can you put that away?”

Looking down, I see the tip of my dick peeking out of my boxers, a single drop of pre-cum leaking out, almost looking like a lone tear since our activity was just interrupted. I know, buddy. I know. Stuffing it back down, I zip up my jeans.

Andi’s hands are on her hips and she glares at him. “Kitchen. Now!” she says, marching towards the kitchen, disappearing from sight.

Teddy and I are left in the hallway staring at each other like we’re in some sort of Mexican standoff. The only difference between us is that he’s on the verge of laughing and I’m ready to commit murder because he just interrupted what would’ve been our first wall fuck. Then again, I’m grateful that he didn’t just sit in the dark and listen. Either way, Teddy Bennett just went back on my shit list. Damn. And we’d been getting along so well.

“She’s pissed,” he says.

Wow. What a genius.

“Ya think? You just about saw her naked.”

He shrugs impassively. “Eh, nothing I’ve never seen before.”

Umm what? Before I can ask what the hell he means by that, he turns and heads to the kitchen. Making sure that all my parts are back in my jeans, I button my shirt back up and follow, my heart nearly stopping when I get into kitchen.

Sitting at the kitchen island is Andi, already sipping a glass of wine, still glaring daggers at Teddy. And next to her, dressed in a tiny, pink camisole and boxer shorts, is Sophie. Her eyes widen when she sees me, and she nearly chokes on the sip of wine she just took.

“Cohen?” she asks, and Andi’s eyes flash to mine, curious and full of question.

Teddy’s eyes darken as if some realization pops into his head. “You have got to be kidding me!”

STANDING BETWEEN Teddy and Cohen, I want to scream. After a weekend of slow, sweet sex, Cohen was one pair of jeans and about ten seconds away from fucking me against the wall, and it’s what I wanted. Hard, fast, raw. And then Teddy’s annoying throat clearing was like a fire extinguisher on the raging inferno between my legs. I could pretty much kill him.

Throwing him what I hope is my best glare, I storm past him, my anger igniting with each step that takes me farther from Cohen and the wall that remains as unfucked as I am right now. I head straight to the wine rack and pour myself a healthy glass of red wine, taking down at least half its contents in one long drink.

After refilling it, I turn around, surprised to see a pretty blonde sitting at the kitchen island, wearing pretty much next to nothing. Teddy’s being in his underwear makes more sense now. This must be the girl he’s refused to bring over since he started dating her. He’s been really secretive, only going to her place, and I think it’s because he actually likes her and isn’t just trying to get in her pants.

“Hi,” she says, giving me a sheepish grin. “We were just coming into the kitchen to scrounge up something for dinner when the front door opened. I told Teddy we could just sneak back to his room, but he said he wanted to introduce us. And then you got a little distracted.” She winces and then looks down at her clothes—or, well, lack thereof—actually looking a little embarrassed. “Umm, we weren’t really expecting anyone to be here tonight. Wow, this is embarrassing. I’m Sophie by the way.” She gives me a warm smile and extends her hand.

I take it and then pour a glass for her and set it down. “I’m Andi. And don’t worry about it. I’ve been staying with my boyfriend, so Teddy probably didn’t think I’d be here.”

Speaking of the devil, Teddy walks into the room, and when I glare at him, he holds his hands up. “Andi, I’m sorry for interrupting back there, but I didn’t think you’d come home during break. Plus, we’ve been living together for years. You know all public areas are off-limits when you have roommates. You never know who’ll walk in.”

I narrow my eyes at him. “You’re supposed to be at the beach, so forgive me for expecting to come home to an empty house.”

“Yeah, about that. I got called into work at the last minute. Plus, I didn’t want to be the third wheel to Cy and Reese since Sophie couldn’t go. Which, by the way, this is Sophie.”

I’m about to tell him we’ve already met when Cohen walks into the kitchen. He glances around the room, stopping when his eyes land on Sophie, who promptly chokes on her wine when she sees him. I have no idea what’s going on, but Cohen and Sophie both greet each other by name, and then Teddy’s groaning as he looks back and forth at them. Something passes between the three of them, and I have no idea what’s going on.

“This is him, isn’t it? Oh God, of course it’s him. It all makes sense now,” Teddy groans.

Cohen wrinkles his eyebrows in confusion, and I’m glad I’m not the only one who has no idea what’s happening. Sophie glances down at her glass and then back up at Teddy.

He’s laughing almost manically and shaking his head. “He’s the asshole you dumped the night we met, isn’t he?”

Wait. What? Cohen and Sophie? When I look at Cohen, his expression lets me know that Teddy’s right. Well, this is certainly an interesting turn of events.

“Teddy, it wasn’t like that and you know it. You can’t dump someone you’re not dating. We were just a fling.”

“Why the hell do I keep getting this guy’s sloppy seconds?” he scoffs, and Sophie looks like he just slapped her in the face. “We might as well just have a fucking orgy since we’ve basically all fucked each other.”

“Hey!” I protest, ready to jump up and defend this girl I don’t even know. And try to protect Teddy from continuing to say something stupid. “Watch it, Teddy.”

I don’t realize that the rest of the room has fallen silent. Sophie looks at me and then back at Teddy, her eyes narrowing.

“Wait a minute. You two?” she says, her hand waving back and forth between the two of us.

Teddy’s eyes widen, and I can tell that he hasn’t told her about us.

She drains the rest of her glass and then stands up before crossing to him and poking him in the chest. “You’re telling me that you’ve fucked your roommate? And you still live together?! Is that why you never bring me here? Huh? Are you still sleeping together?”

Wait. What? No.

Teddy shakes his head vehemently, but Sophie keeps pushing him until his back’s against the wall. Damn, this girl is feisty, and I like her, so I jump to Teddy’s defense.

“Sophie, no. Teddy and I aren’t like that anymore. He’s with you, and I’m with Cohen.”

Cohen. I pivot in my stool to see him still standing in the doorway, his expression dark and unreadable as he watches the scene play out in front of him. I stand up to go over to him, but he gives a slight shake of his head, and I sit back down, feeling defeated.

Sophie turns to me. “You’re telling me that, once upon a time, you two were sleeping together? And now you’re just friends and roommates?” I nod, and she looks back at Teddy. “If that is the case, then why the hell wouldn’t you tell me that? Why keep it a secret?”

“That’s what I’d like to know, too.” Cohen speaks for the first time during this exchange, and for a moment, I’m confused. Cohen knew about Teddy and me.

Sophie laughs and then looks at Cohen. “Oh, this is gold. You didn’t know either? Wow. You know what, Teddy? I’m taking my sloppy-second ass back home. When you think you can actually be honest with me, feel free to come groveling. Until then, don’t bother.” With that, she leaves the room.

Teddy leans back against the wall, a dejected look on his face. “Wow. I really fucked that up, didn’t I?”

“Yeah, asshole, you did. And if you ever call me sloppy seconds again, I’ll kick your ass. Now go after her.”

He smartens up and listens to me. Deep down, I hope they can work it out.

Looking at Cohen, I give him a playful smile. “Well, that was interesting,” I say but get nothing.

He’s leaning against the doorframe, his arms folded over his chest. He looks pissed, and I’m not sure why.

“You slept with Bennett.” It’s a statement, not a question, and it comes out in the form of a growl.

“Cohen, you knew that,” I protest, but he shakes his head.

“I didn’t fucking know that, Andi. You think I’d be okay with my girl living with someone who’s fucked her? Let alone Bennett of all people?”

“You knew we were together once upon a time, even though it was extremely brief. Why are you acting like this is a surprise?”

He moves into the room until he’s across from me. Placing his hands on the island, he leans in close. “I knew you dated briefly and it didn’t work out. What I didn’t know was that he was the first one to fuck you after I did.”

My heart falters, but I also am starting to see red at the same time. Oh boy. I can see Cohen’s point. I never came out and said the words, but I’ve never asked him about his sexual conquests before either. As much as I want to lash out, I close my eyes and take a few deep breaths to calm myself, knowing that fighting with him is going to get me nowhere.

SEEING A nearly naked Sophie sitting next to Andi shocked the hell out of me. Teddy’s comment about sloppy seconds had me ready to punch his face in, but I willed myself to remain calm because this wasn’t my fight to get involved in. Until Sophie astutely put two and two together about Teddy and Andi’s sexual past. As she started asking questions, I felt doubt creeping into my mind. She was pissed that Teddy hadn’t told her, and I knew the feeling.
