“Damn, that smells
good. What is it? Alfredo Fettuccini?” Roy asked handing her his plate.

“Chicken Alfredo with
broccoli. I thought I’d make something fairly simple instead of something
extravagant like I normally do.”

After serving the two
dishes, he watched curiously as she reached into the basket and pulled out a
block of cheese and an instrument from the basket. When she came back to the
table, she asked, “Do you want some grated Parmesan?”

“Yes, please.”

Slowly, she grated the
cheese over the noodles. God, she was beautiful he kept thinking to himself. He
could slowly feel himself starting to swell. She bent over him, and he got a
glimpse of her luscious breasts.

“I think that’s
enough,” Roy said. She sat down and grated cheese on her own plate.

He swirled his fork
into the noodles, speared a piece of the chicken and broccoli, then took a
bite. His eyes closed as he relished the taste. It had been a long time since
he had a home cooked meal and this was even better than Mom’s.

“I see you like it,
huh?”

He kept shaking his
head back and forth as he took another bite of this amazing dinner. “Can I ask
you something?”

“Sure, what is it?”

“Do you mind coming
over here bringing me dinner like this while you’re here?”

“You really want to have dinner with me for
the rest of the week?”

“Why not? Plus it will
give us the chance to sit and talk since it’s been a very long time since we’ve
been together like this.”

“Actually this is the
first time we’ve ever been like this…well this and at the airport.”

“Well at least we can
make up for lost time, darling,” Roy said taking another bite.

Darling. She had never
heard him call her that before. The way he said it sent shivers all over her
body. She just hoped he didn’t realize what he was doing to her. “You know, I’d
like that. I’ll spend the days with my family and Sandy and the girls, then we
can have dinner together. I’ll go into town and get the ingredients needed to
fix us something delectable each night.”

“Great, I can’t wait.”
Roy smiled picking up his glass. “A toast to a lovely week of dinners with a
lovely lady.”

Once he had his fill,
he helped Amie with washing the dishes. “Want to see what my barn looks like?”
he asked her.

“Sure, that sounds
good.” He put on sneakers he had by the door. She walked out onto the porch
stretching. She got dizzy in the process of stretching and started to fall
back. Luckily, Roy walked out the door just in time to steady her.

“Dang, woman, that must
have been a good stretch.” He chuckled. She regained her balance and laughed.

“It sure was a good
one. I haven’t stretched that good in a long time.”

They both walked off
the porch to the barn. The horses were neighing as if they knew someone was
coming to visit. When he opened the barn door, Amie saw the horses in their
stalls immediately eyeing one that looked so familiar it made her smile.

“Is that a boy or
girl?” she asked going up to the chestnut horse with a white spot on its
forehead.

“I think it’s a girl.”

She touched the mare’s
nose softly talking to her. “My you’re a pretty girl, a very pretty girl. She
reminds me of Betsy, you remember Betsy don’t you?”

“Yeah, I remember you
would do barrel runs with her, damn you were great.” Roy smiled watching the
horse nudge up under her chin. She opened up the stall and walked inside with
her, still stroking along her back.

“She’s gorgeous, Roy,
absolutely gorgeous. Whoever you got her from must have had a good stock
because she’s really beautiful. Have you named her yet?”

Shaking his head no he
told her, “You can name her.”

Surprised, Amie said,
“Really? You’d let me name her?”

“Of course you can, I’d
be honored if you did.”

After a moment she
asked, “Do you know what season she was born in?”

Roy rubbed his head for
a moment thinking. “I think she was born in the spring.”

“Well since you were
born in the spring, I shall name you
Haruko
.”

Haruko
,
what does that mean?”

“It means spring
child.”

“I didn’t know you knew
Japanese so well, I mean, I know you are part Japanese and all but―”

“That’s right. You
didn’t know, did you? Well, we better go back inside for dessert. It’s your
favorite.”

They walked to the
house and sat on the porch swing. “Why don’t we just sit and talk for a while.
I’m still digesting dinner here. Tell me, how’d you learned Japanese so well?”

“While I was in school,
I asked my parents about my birth parents. I didn’t think they would help me
out, but they were happy to do so.” Amie continued with the story of how she
found her parents. “My dad didn’t have any living relatives that I could find,
but through my mother I am happy to say I have two half-brothers and one
sister.” Amie smiled.

“That’s wonderful news.
I’m so happy for you. Did you get to meet her?”

“Actually, when I got
the info, I waited a couple of days before I started looking for her. I was so
nervous. I didn’t know whether or not she would want to see or talk with me
plus the fact she was Japanese and I didn’t know if she even spoke English. I
called her number, asked for her, and she spoke perfect English. I was so
relieved. When I started telling her who I was, she started crying.” Tears started
to form in her eyes.

“And she told me that
she had been praying and waiting for a sign because she didn’t know what had
happened to me. She told me that my dad had taken me back to the states with
him because they had decided that a biracial child would have a better future
elsewhere than in Japan. So, he brought me to Kansas where he was stationed at
Leavenworth. That’s where he put me up for adoption. She said she had kept in
touch with him for about a year. She had prayed for me throughout the years,
hoping I was well and happy and with a family that could take care of me right.
I told her about Mom and Dad and what I had been doing. She told me that I had
to come and meet my family. I told her I would.

“While I was on my
summer break, I went to Japan. My half-brother Ichiro and his wife picked me up
at the airport then took me to the village where I finally got to meet her. She
was such a little thing, so delicate and tiny. I thought if I was going to hug
her that she would break. But was I wrong because she had a grip on her like
you wouldn’t believe. The whole village came out to see me because she had told
everybody about her daughter coming home. I also met my other brother,
Jiro
, my sister,
Asa
, and my
stepfather.
Yasuo
.”

“That was a happy moment.
I’m proud you had the courage to find your mother. So what else happened while
you were there?”

“I got to meet my
grandmother who was about a hundred years old. I couldn’t believe it. While I
was there we would go for walks. I didn’t understand a word she said. I just
nodded and she would point out certain things. I got to learn how to write in
Japanese a little. I still can’t speak it, but I’m still working on it. I did
learn to cook some. The food was so good; we just ate and ate. My birth mom
taught me so much about certain foods and ingredients; how they go with this
and that. It was an amazing month. We talk every two weeks…I call her or she’ll
call me. I got her a laptop and
Asa
has taught her
how to use it. Sometimes we Skype and I see everybody from the village. It’s
really funny.” Amie laughed as she handed back his handkerchief to him. He,
too, wiped his eyes.

“Wow, that’s an amazing
story, Amie, I’m so happy for you. I really am. Not to change the subject, but
what do you have for dessert?”

Amie
smiled. Roy started laughing. With her finger, she motioned him to follow her
as they both walked back inside.

Once Roy sat down, she
went into the kitchen and grabbed something from the basket. “Now, you will
have to close your eyes while I’m making this. No peeking or turning your head
to see what I’m up to,” Amie said putting something in the oven.

Roy sat in
anticipation, not wanting to move and risk ruining her sweet surprise. He never
dreamed she would visit him at his new home. But it was a welcome delight to
have her alone like this.

He heard noises behind
him, wondering what the hell she was doing. Slowly, he turned around.

“Don’t you dare turn around, Roy Fulton, or
you won’t get any dessert whatsoever, mister.”

“Yes, ma’am!” he
exclaimed, turning back, but not before seeing Amie sliding the hot dessert
dish out of the oven.

“Close your eyes,” Amie
said in a sing-song voice.

Doing as he was
ordered, Roy kept his eyes tightly closed. He couldn’t figure out what she was
making. He could smell the delicious aroma of fresh baked chocolate something
in the air. Cookies? Cake?

“Okay, you can open
them!”

His mouth was agape. “I
can’t believe you made a Super Duper Carmel Brownie Sundae! For me! Amie, my
God, I haven’t had one of these since you made them for us years ago. You added
whip cream and three cherries on top.”

He beeped her nose with
his index finger. Amie laughed and they dove into the scrumptious masterpiece.

Rubbing his stomach
with contentment, Roy had never been so full in his life. “I have completely
gone off my diet tonight.”

Amie started laughing.
“A diet? You on a diet? Oh come on, Roy.”

“No, seriously, before
I came home I was on a diet. I had a beer gut and wanted to look good for the
reunion.”

Roy stretched out on
the sofa while Amie sat with her legs tucked underneath her on the love seat.

“How much did you lose
altogether?”

“About fifty pounds,
but I probably just now added on ten thanks to that meal.” He chuckled.

Amie smiled running her
fingers through her hair. “What did you do while you were gone?”

“Construction work.
Whatever I made I sent to Steven with a list of things I wanted him to get.
This house is on our land, so it just needed to be built along with the barn.
Chicago is okay, but I really missed home,” Roy said.

“Wow, Chicago. I don’t
really see you as the big city type.”

“I hated it for the
longest time. The guys I worked with were okay except for one who was always
pissing me off when we went out for lunch. He gave one of the waitress at the
diner we usually went to a hard time. She was a real nice girl. Always stood up
for me while I was on the diet…with the kitchen and my co-workers,” Roy said
remembering Marcie. Just the thought of her made him smile; she was a true
lady.

“Who was she?”

Roy noticed the concerned
in her eyes. Quickly, he got up from the sofa and sat down next to her grabbing
her feet as she stretched them out. “Her name was Marcie. She was a waitress at
this diner that I worked nearby. She reminded me so much of you, she was sweet,
kind, funny, and spunky as hell, and pretty.” He started to play with her toes.

“Did you guys go out or
anything?”

“Actually we did go
out. I asked her out on a date. We had a lot of fun.”

“Did you fuck her?”

The look on his face
was priceless, she thought, but she stood her ground not showing any expression
as she asked, “Well, did you fuck her or not, Roy?”

“Yeah, we fucked.”

“Was she any good?”

Amie could tell she had
shocked him, but she didn’t really care. She wanted to show him Amie Brown
wasn’t the same girl he remembered.

“She was good,” he said.

“Did she give you
head?” she asked, licking her lips and looking him straight in the eye. Amie
was going to have some fun this evening.

“Yeah, she did give me
head, why do you want to know?”

“Just curious is all.
How did she do it?”

Amie could tell he was
getting uncomfortable, but she was enjoying watching him squirm. This is what
she enjoyed doing to men and she might as well have a little fun with Roy.

“Well, she was
amazing.”

“How amazing was she,
Roy? I want to know exactly how she was. Did she suck you hard? Did she wrap
her tongue around your cock? Did she swallow all of your hot cum when you came?
You have to be specific with me when you tell me things like this. We are
adults after all,” Amie said.

“Let me get some
water…would you like some water too?” he said, wiping sweat from his brow and
quickly getting up.

She tried her best not
to giggle or laugh. When he came back, he downed half a glass of water. Once
again she toyed with him. “I’m waiting, Roy.”

“Well if you must know,
she used her tongue a lot. When she sucked me off, she did it hard and fast.
She sucked on my balls. When I came, she took all of it.”
