They both knew that they had caught all three of them slipping and began taunting the young cats.

"You lil country ass nigga's got caught wit yo panties down, right son!"

The other one didn't respond, but only stood still.

Game tight thought he recognized a slight tremor, but quickly shook the thought away when he glanced over the shoulder of the one doing all the talking and spotted

June easing up on the confrontation Game Tight looked at them both and smiled.

The one doing all the talking was about to respond when June stuck his Mac-10 to the back of his head and pulled the trigger. Brain matter and fragments splattered everywhere.

June quickly grabbed the hood of the other dude trying to get close enough for another head shot. He yanked hard on the oversized Hoodie causing it to fall from the assailants head, revealing a face.... a familiar one. It was the face of a young girl!

Word spread like wildfire about the murder, and not only in the streets. Officer Stokely received the call about the homicide at his home. After investigating the crime scene the only evidence found was a body that was still waiting in the Hospitals Morgue to be identified by family members. And the heavy piece of lead which had caused the victims head to explode.

Ballistics gave Officer Stokely a long list of weapons the bullet could've possibly been fired from. One of them being a Mac-10, and just like that June was the number one suspect in another murder case.

It was Friday and the lobby area of the Salon was at its full capacity. Last year Tee added twenty-five more waiting chairs, plus a daycare section for the kids.

Everybody and their Momma was there trying to get their shit tight for the show tomorrow night. Club Mercedes was opening its doors for the first time since the Crews arrest.

June, Baby Rasta, and the girls put together a giant "DJ" fest with all the local turntable superstars battling for Hometown bragging rights. But the main attractions of the night would be "Keshia Cole" and that much controversial nigga outta the ATL. (Young Jezzy).

"Gurl, make sure you bring my highlights out to match my outfit," A client named Neet said while sitting in Tee's chair.

"Oh don't worry Neet, if I don't get it right the first time I'll just go back and buy you some more," Tee said before bursting out in laughter.

"Funny bitch...." Neet responded.

Oohs and aahs came from the other girls. Tee stood back and put her hands on her hips before responding.

"Damn ho, how you guessed my middle name?!"

Elbony and Terri burst out in their own laughter at both Tee and Neet's comments.

At about 11:00 a.m. June and Baby Rasta walked through the door of the Salon.

"Damn Sis, you need to hire some more help," June said walking back to their work station.

"Yeah mun.... we had to fight our way through that Boom ba crowd," Baby Rasta said.

"Hey big brother," Tee said giving him a hug....

"What's up wit you and young Q?" He asked pointing at her stomach.

"I'm working my butt off June, that's what's up. Boy, I'm thinking bout selling this place," she complained.

"Yeah right," Terri butted in saying.... "Then you'd be bored all day everyday with nothing to do."

"I'm sure he'll be keeping me busy enough," Tee said while rubbing her stomach.

"Well look, have any of my boys called today?" June asked.

"Tee sighed before answering.... "June, this has been going on since 8:00 o'clock this morning. Neither one of us has had time to take a call since then."

"Damn ma, and you talking bout selling this bitch," June said.

"I was only kidding Boy.... besides, if I sell the Salon me and the girls will have to start working with the Crew full time,” she said while looking at him with raised eyebrows.

"I think we would like that," a voice said from behind them.... Everyone turned to see Van and Inga walking through the lobby .

"I see everybody's getting ready for the show tonight huh?" Van asked.

"You know it Gurl.... Will you be there?" Tee asked.

"Yeah, we'll be there, we have to help June and Rasta with Security tonight."

"Say what?" June asked.

"You heard her Big Brother." They all said.

June just stared around the Salon at all the girls, then let out a heavy sigh.

"Ya'll bitches gon make my own crew kill my black ass."

"Bitches!!!" They all yelled.

Once again June found himself looking over at Baby Rasta for help. What he got was the same response he'd gotten before. "Wicked mun.... wicked."

Van stood in front of the full length mirror In their bedroom. Inga and Baby had already left for the club with the other girls. Before slipping on her clothes she rubbed her body down with Channel #5 Body Lotion. The sounds of the house phone startled her....

Ring.... Ring.... Ring....

Bear watched as Van's Booty and Tittles danced everywhere when she ran towards the phone.

"Hello," she answered....

"You have a collect call from the Mecklenburg County Jail, if you accept the charges, please press 5?"

Van hurried and press 5.

"Hey Baby," she quickly spoke without giving Q a chance to say anything.

"What's up shawty?... What's my Wifey doing?" Q asked.

"Thinking bout what she's gonna do to her Husband whenever he decides to come home," she teased.

"Come on ma, you know you can't be teasing a nigga like that.... Damn'!!" He cried out as if he was in major pain.

"Sorry love, but I do think you should know that I have your favorite outfit on."

"Stop that shit Van," he screamed.

"Alight Boy.... Calm down," Van said.

"Have you talked to June?" Q asked changing the subject.

"Yeah, I'm suppose to be meeting him before heading out to the club."

She continued.... "Have you spoken to your Lawyers about the Trial?"

"Yeah, he said the Prosecution is pushing for another continuance

"But, I thought the last continuance was their final one?" Van asked

"By law it was, but the District Attorney filed a petition after the two key witnesses could not be found."

"And what did your Lawyers have to say about that Q?"

"They said that it's a very strong possibility that I'll be walking out of here once again a free man on May 1st." Van was so excited that she broke down in tears. "Damn ma, I thought yo ass was a soldier." "I am Q...."

"Soldiers don't cry shawty." "Don't get it twisted nigga.... These are tears of joy," Van said flatly.

She yawned before continuing. "Well I must go, it's girls nite out remember?"

"Shawty, stop playing," Q said.

"OH, poor baby, but who's crying now?" She said while laughing. Q could only laugh with her, she had beat him at his own game. "Be careful at tha club ma.... Make sure you got your Heat with you."

"No love."

"What do you mean no ?"

"Well Q, I kinda like your Heat better." Q could hear her snickering in the background.

"Shawty, you are a damn soldier," Q whispered to her through the phone.

"And you are my life," she whispered back to him.

"Be careful."

"I will," she said.

"One."

"One."

Van pulled into the parking lot on East Washington St. around ll:15pm. She stopped through to pick June up before heading to the club. Before exiting Q's Black on Black CL Coupe, Van made sure she was dressed properly by sliding one of her man's 45's in the Holster underneath her left arm.

Stepping out of the car she was hit by the fresh aroma of Mrs. Janies cooking. The smell of the food reminded her of how hungry she actually was. Still with no sign of June, Van stepped inside the Chill-Grill to satisfy her appetite.

After greeting Mrs. Janie, Van ate in silence until June walked in and sat next to her.

"What's up Lll Sis?"

"Hey Big Brother, what's good?"

"Aint shit.... A nigga just trying to get something to eat," June said.

He'd texted Van earlier needing to speak with her. She figured it had something to do with the shooting that happened a few days ago on the Block, but didn't press the issue.

"You know them nigga's trying to do business on Armstead Street Lil Sis?" Said June.

"What?" Van responded.

"I said them nigga's slangin product on the Stead ma. They got look-outs posted up and down the street and inside a couple of the apartments."

"That cat I slumped the other night was in wit them nigga's."

"I thought that you said there was two of them?" Van asked.

"Yeah I did.... That's what I wanted to talk to you about Lil Sis."

Van listened as June told her how close he'd came to murking Dirk's little Sister Monica. “She had been fucking with the little nigga I killed” You know since Dirks been gone Mrs. Watson ain’t been able to handle her.”.

"Damn!" Van said surprised.

June nodded.

"We need to make sure we check in on them?"

"Yeah, I’ll stopped through there ."

"Good.... I'll stop by there also In a couple days," Van said.

"Are you ready?" She asked before standing to leave.

"Yeah, let's bounce."

At the club, both entrances had a long line of cars.

"Damn Lil Sis," said June. "That bitch Keshia Cole and that nigga "Jezzy" got this joint poppin."

Van burst out in laughter at June's comment as they entered the club.

The new VIP section was another one of the girls ideas. It was built next to the main office for easy access. On many occasions the Crew had been out partying and lounging at other Clubs where someone was either stabbed or beaten to death by the time Security reached the VIP section. Sometime later Van and the rest of the Girls were enjoying themselves with June when Baby Rasta informed her on her Headset about Dame and a couple of his people wanting to get in the Club.

"Be right back." Van said grabbing Inga by the hand, then disappearing in the crowd.

She met Baby Rasta at the booth. Shae and Tab radioed Baby Rasta when the more than obvious up state nigga's were tryin to bring several Moet and Cristal bottles Inside the Club.

After several attempts to remove them, an argument ensued, ending with the word Bitch!!!

Baby Rasta walked over to Dame with Inga at his side. Van stepped up inside the booth behind Shae and Tab who were both hanging halfway out of the booth's window cursing at the top of their lungs.

Van grabbed both of them around their waist pulling them back inside before she spoke.

"Damn soldiers, what tha fuck is going on?"

"Van, you betta talk to these motha-fuckas." Sha said.

"Whoa, calm down, just calm down, we got this." She said.
