Rudy comes back to the group. “Yeah, of course we’ll go. We have to. Maybe we’ll even find some answers or at least find a safe place to stay.”

“That’s
if
we’re welcome. The government doesn’t like intruders,” Maria points out.

“If we’re gonna do this, we’re gonna need to get supplies and stuff,” Rudy states. “My house has everything we’ll need. Let’s get going.”

Luke tosses Rudy the keys. “You know where we’re going.”

We all pile into the pickup.

Just before we take off, I suddenly remember. “Before we go for Chloe, there’s a radio personality in Woonsocket that needs our help.”
