Sucked into yet another orgasm, Danika closed her eyes and cried out as he filled her with his warm seed.

Sated, and feeling as though her body were made of rubber, she sighed in contentment as Ty rolled them onto their sides, gently withdrawing from her.

“My God,” she said on a breath. “That was…” She shook her head. “I don’t even have words.”

Heated, electrical pulses traveled down the side of her face as his warm finger smoothed her hair out of her face. Piercing, sapphire eyes ensnared her own, Ty’s wide, toothy grin growing larger by the second.

“What?” she asked with a giggle. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

Ty nuzzled her neck and placed a soft kiss on her cheek. “Look up, sweetness.”

Unsure of what to expect, she tore her eyes from his heated gaze, looked up at the mirrored ceiling and gasped. “My eyes!” Pupils no longer round, but elliptical, they glowed a brilliant blue, a soft white circle encasing her new cat-shaped irises. “They’re…they’re…”

“Beautiful,” Ty said, before pressing another kiss to her temple.

Warring against an uncanny need to stare at her newly transformed eyes, she turned her gaze to the handsome warrior holding her close. “What does it mean? Will they stay this way forever?”

Ty swept a hand across her collar bone before burying it in her hair. “It means our bond is complete. You are my mate—for eternity. None can separate us. And—”

Danika felt her eyes widen as she shifted her body to face Ty. She waved a hand through the air and shook her head. “Hold up. Wait, wait…wait. Did you say…eternity?” Was he serious? Was she really that lucky? Would she really get to spend the rest of her life with this amazing man?

Ty chuckled. “Yes, sweetness. Our bond has transformed you. You’re blessed with the gift of youth and longevity.” He paused for a moment, no doubt giving her time to process the life-changing news he’d just relayed. He pressed a kiss to her forehead. “And as for your eyes… No, they won’t stay like that forever. They’ll only change when we make love.” He chuckled. “Or when you’re particularly desirous of me, which I can guarantee will be constantly.”

Danika feigned shock before swatting him over the head with a nearby pillow. “Someone’s a little sure of himself,” she said with a giggle.

Strong hands maneuvered her against his side and held her close. “Just relaying the facts, babe.”

“Unreal,” she said while stretching her languid arms above her head. “This whole thing is just…” She trailed off. Her day had been one of extremes. From fighting off her nasty ex, to fighting for her life in the alley, to learning she was mated to an immortal shape-shifter, she was positive there wasn’t anything left that would shock her. And though she’d lost her job at the club, she somehow knew, now that she had Ty in her life, everything would be okay. He’d not only come to her aid with her sleazy boss, he’d rescued her from James back at the club and a soul-sucking demon shortly thereafter. Ty was her angel, her knight-in-shining-armor. She knew, without a doubt, as long as she had him by her side she’d be safe, cared for and loved. “Unreal,” she whispered and smiled.

Before she had time to blink, Ty was on top of her, his arms braced on either side of her chest. Body flush with hers, his long and very aroused cock pressed against her stomach, once more stirring her desire.

“Oh no, baby. This right here,” he pressed his cock against her slick core, “is very, very real.” He cast her a wicked grin and nipped at her nose playfully. “And I, for one, have no problem whatsoever proving it to you over, and over, and over again.”

A rakish grin spread across his face as he made his way down the length of her torso and took her into his mouth once again.

Danika couldn’t contain her smile as she looked up toward the heavens. “Thank you, Athena!”
