All at once, he stiffened and froze, a mighty bellow slicing through the night as his seed poured from him. For a moment, they all collapsed into a limp, panting pile, yet someone’s fingers made slow circles on her clit while another one sucked on one of her aching nipples.

That sealed it. She could never stay with them permanently. They’d kill her with sex! She grinned. But what a way to go!

“You look happy.”

She opened her eyes to see Sully right in front of her. “I am,” she said. Reaching out her hand, she cupped his cheek. “There’s still you.”

“Not if you’re too tired.”

“I’m not too tired.”

Cord leaned over and kissed her shoulder, making his way to her ear as he pressed behind her. “You should ride him while Pete and I watch,” he suggested.

“You have a thing about that.” More and more, she was learning their styles. Pete was fast and kinda rough. Cord was the clown of the bunch and also, she suspected, the wildest. Sully was the quietest. Sensitive. And she knew he’d win her heart first. They’d all get inside there—she could feel herself beginning to love them all. Not the group, but each of them individually. They might work as a team for the Flying D, but they were definitely a team in their interpersonal relations too—each man with his part in the group. She supposed if things worked out, she’d be the flighty, eccentric one.

She stared into Sully’s green eyes. “I want to ride you, but I need a hat.”

“Can do, cowgirl.” He kissed the tip of her nose then crawled over to a pile of their supplies and grabbed a Stetson she figured was his. When he returned, he popped it on her head. It drooped to her nose, and they all laughed. Still, Moon gave Pete and Cord the evil eye as Sully situated himself and rolled on a condom.

“No laughing,” she ordered.

“Never,” Pete said, nodding as he bit back a huge grin. “It’s just—”

He snorted, ruining his lie.

“You’re just so damn cute,” Cord finished for him.

She planted her hands on her hips. “I’m not cute. I’m going for sexy.”

“Oh, you’re sexy, darlin’,” Sully promised as he pulled her down to him. She straddled his hips, balancing herself with a hand on his six-pack as she hovered over his cock.

“You think so?” she asked.

“Yeah.”

She lowered herself just a bit. He was so thick, her walls stretched as if it were her first time. She took a few deep breaths, enjoying the feel of him filling her up. “Yeah?”

“Oh, yeah,” he echoed. “More, darlin’. Take more.”

Slowly, she sank, taking him all the way and knowing these three would destroy her for all men. Grasping her thighs, he pushed upward and urged her to move. The friction was incredible. Breathing hard, she started to do exactly what they’d said. Holding her hat with one hand and keeping the other on his belly, she rode him like a bucking bronc. Her breasts bounced wildly as her and Sully’s groins rolled together, while Pete and Cord hooted and hollered as if they were rowdy rodeo fans.

Her cunt clamped on him as the sensation grew too much and pushed her too close to the edge. Heat prickled through her body as reaction exploded from her core to her fingertips and toes. Her arms splayed wide, and she screamed half expecting lightning to strike and bind them together. Suddenly, Pete and Cord were there too, touching her, kissing her, while Sully sat up and hugged her hard. The four of them clung together as he kept her hips working over his, inexorably driving her to another orgasm that would pull him over too.

Tears streamed down her cheeks at the knot they’d formed, the four of them fused together in the moment, her emotions overwhelming her. They had to feel it too. They had to. And when Sully finally came, she was so taken by the completeness, she could do nothing but press her face to his chest and shake while they all held her—her men, her rescuers, her protectors.

If she’d have them.

Chapter Four

“Everyone’s going to know what happened here,” Moon said as Sully lifted her to sit with him on his horse. She bit back a groan as she straddled the animal and felt her muscles strain. Last night, they’d fucked as if it were their final hours on the planet. Just when one session would die away, they’d start again. They’d gone on until the pink of sunrise had begun to stain the horizon, and they knew it was time to get on their way back to the ranch. They were expected later that morning.

It was just as well. They’d run out of condoms about that time too. A lot of condoms she thought, as she wrapped her arms around Sully and rested her cheek against his warm back.

“No one will know,” Pete assured her. “We cleaned up in the stream. Our clothes look all straight.”

“You just have to stay awake so we don’t have to explain how you fell off the horse,” Cord added. “Well. Hmm. They might spot the circles under your eyes, but hey, the crew are all men. They’re not that perceptive.”

“They’ll notice,” she murmured, observing as she spoke that Sully clamped one of his huge hands over hers where they rested on his belly.

“Maybe you should sit in front of me,” he said then maneuvered her to sit sideways before him.

“You’re strong,” she sighed.

“You’re pretty funny when you’re exhausted,” he said.

“Mmhmm,” she muttered, burrowing her nose into his chest.

When she awoke sometime later, the sun was full in the sky and she heard the low rumble of the men’s voices as they talked amongst themselves. Rain pattered overhead and she furrowed her brow, realizing she wasn’t on a horse and she wasn’t getting wet. As she blinked open her eyes, she realized it wasn’t the sun, but a portable lantern that seemed so bright.

“Hi baby,” Pete said, stroking her hair from her face. Her head was resting on his lap. “Feeling better?”

“Yeah.” She pushed upright then looked around the three-sided structure and at the three men. The horses were tethered just inside the entrance. “Where are we?”

“One of the storm shelters. Sometimes a squall will roll up fast, like this one.” He shrugged. “Good thing probably. Gives us time to talk.”

“Okay…” She bit her lip and nodded slowly, moving so she faced the trio as they leaned against the shelter’s back wall.

Cord was solemn for once as he looked at her. “Where to from here?”

She considered the flippant answer of “back to the ranch” but knew better. This was serious. They wanted to pin her down to something more than a one-night stand, and she was scared. What a roll-reversal.

“You want to date?” she ventured. She could do that and see where things went. She really liked them. But she’d freak if they wanted something permanent so soon, but that’s how things went around here usually. Fast and furious and forever.

“We’ve
been
courtin’ you, darlin’,” Sully said. “Just not goin’ out places.”

She shook her head, ignoring the thick drawl he’d put on. “Maybe you should tell me what you’re pro—suggesting.”

“Something exclusive,” Pete blurted. He shoved a hand through his hair. “We don’t want you to see other men, you know, while we’re—”

“Like courting?” she supplied, suppressing a smile. “How long do you think this storm will last? I was supposed to be into work at nine.”

“We called Rayna while you were sleeping and let her know about the car.” Pete held up his cell.

“No!” Moon groaned.

“What? You want it to be a secret?” Cord growled, jumping to his feet and striding toward the shelter entrance where a sheet of rain blocked them in.

“No!” she exclaimed, scared of ruining this whole thing, especially when she’d upset the lighthearted one of the group. She leapt up and followed him. Stepping in front of him, she flattened her hands on his chest, pleading with him to look at her. “I don’t care if people know. It’s just that I don’t want the whole town gossiping about us—and you know they will. I’ve been talked about my whole life. All my family has. We’re the weirdo oddballs. It just is. It doesn’t mean I like it.”

Cord rested his forehead to hers. “Around here, being with us would make you normal.”

She closed her eyes, enjoying his warmth as he embraced her. The other two joined them, and she found herself surrounded by her knot of happiness once more. Nothing could touch her here—except them.

“Rayna said you should take the whole day off and relax after your
ordeal
,” Pete told her as he kissed her neck.

“Too bad, you three have to work,” she replied, reminding them all of reality. Ranching stopped for no one.

“But we can come over later?” Sully asked.

“Yes, and I’ll even cook.”

“We’ll bring wine.” Cord looked at his partners. “We have wine, yes?”

Pete nodded. “And condoms.”

“And some rope and a hat for you.” Sully winked, and she knew this relationship would be full of fun and the unexpected.

“Rope, you say?” She wasn’t so sure about that, but her inner cowgirl said,
why the hell not?
“And a hat. I’ll be doing some riding?”

“Lots of riding,” Cord said, dipping down and brushing his lips over hers while Pete and Sully kept her tight in the middle of their four-way embrace, their kisses on her neck and shoulders underlining his words. “It’s what our cattle team does. Riding. All day. All night. And all yours.”
