Well, we’ve come to the end of a journey. If you’d asked me five years ago if I thought I would ever have an entire book series completed, I probably would have thought you were crazy. But here it is, the last installment of the
Cursed
trilogy. While I’m going to miss the characters and the trouble they got into, I’m also glad to know that they each found their happy ending. I worked hard to bring them the closure they deserved, and I hope that long time and new readers to the series are just as happy with the ending as I am.

This book series wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the tremendous love, support, and encouragement from my family and friends. Seeing their proud smiles when I tell them what I’ve accomplished in a day of writing, or about some exciting news, or a new goal that I had, definitely makes me feel good about myself as a writer, and gives me motivation to write more.

Major thanks to the wonderful artists and teams of Deranged Doctor Design. I didn’t know what to expect for the
Damnation’s Door
cover, but… Wow. I mean… Wow. Seriously, you guys rock.

Big thanks to Eden Royce, my lovely editor who helped see this series through from beginning to end. She helped me nitpick like crazy, something I’m incredibly grateful for. There’s no question that she’s helped me improve as an artist.

Thanks to the awesome writers in WritingGIAM Pro (we miss you, Donna) and Weekend Writing Warriors, especially fantasy author and MOD Christina Ochs for reading and reviewing each one of these books. If you’re an indie author just starting their career, trust me when I say that you need to find a writing group to be part of. They will do the most amazing things for you just because you ask.

Thank you to all the reviewers who have become lifelong fans of Constance, Dro, Warrick, Max, and Sephiel, especially Ivana and Nell of One Book Two, and Cassandra of The Bookish Crypt. You’ve offered so many uplifting words, helped with important promotions, and been wonderfully enthusiastic, so I hope that
Damnation’s Door
meets your expectations.

Last but not least, thank you to
you
specifically, reader. Whether you’re an old or new fan of the
Cursed
series, you’ve done me a huge honor in simply giving it a chance. That means more than I can ever say, and I will honestly never be able to thank you enough.

So yes, that’s it for Constance and Dro and Co. I had an amazing time writing them, and I’m glad they have a chance to relax and enjoy a little quiet for now. I’d say they’ve earned it.
