We collapsed to the bed in a sweaty tangle, Dante turning us
so I was cuddled, not crushed, by his large frame.

“Wow,” I murmured and buried my face against his neck.

Breathless, he said, “Move in with me.”

I lifted my head and looked at him. “That’s crazy, we
haven’t even been out on a first date.”

Darkness filled his eyes. “We went on the date—it just
turned out really horrible. Come on, babe. You’ve slept here every night for
the last week. You can have half the closet. Some drawers in the dresser and
all the space you want in the bathroom.” He stroked my cheek and his face went
all soft and sweet. “I like curling you into my arms at night and waking up
with you in the morning.”

I recalled his tongue between my legs and a full-body shiver
had me cuddling in closer to him. “I really like waking up with you.”

“See.” He grinned. “Move in.”

I drew my finger down the center of his abs. “I don’t want
to ruin things by moving too fast.”

“We passed fast the second you laid naked in my bed while I
was in the shower. How about we compromise? Move all your crap in here and keep
your bedroom at your sister’s.”

I shook my head and laughed. “I would have done that anyway,
that’s hardly a compromise.”

“Hannah,” he coaxed.

“Dante,” I repeated.

He quirked his lips. “Is that a no?”

I kissed the corner of his upturned mouth. “It’s a maybe.”

He rolled me onto my back and closed his mouth over mine.
When I was breathless and dizzy, he pulled back and cupped my breast. He rolled
the nipple between his finger and liquid heat wet my sex.

“Let’s see if we can turn that maybe into a yes.”

“You’re evil.”

“Not evil. I know what I want, and that, darlin’, is you.
Today, tomorrow, next week. It’s me and you, babe.”

I smiled, liked the sound of that. “Me and you.”

About Madeline Pryce

penned with neon-pink ink in a loose-leaf binder. Captivated by romantic
literature, yet intrigued by the paranormal, she continues to develop her own
