Teghan shrugged. "It doesn't hold the wonder for me that it does for you. The routine of seeing this every day of my life, I guess."

"Still, it can't get old."

"No," she agreed. "It never gets old."

Donnie pulled off into Crystal Cove State Park. He paid for a day pass and slowly inched along the tree lined paved park roads until he found a secluded clearing that, with some fancy maneuvering would lead them to an uninhabited stretch of beach. A gorgeous weeping willow tree stood in the center. "Perfect," he said, backing his Explorer down the small embankment.

"I don't think we're supposed to be in this part of the park," Teghan said, nodding at a sign that read: No Trespassing.

"Why do you think I'm trying to hide the truck from view?" He winked at her. "Relax, Teghan. It'll be fine." He shut off the engine, jumped out of the truck, and walked back up to the road to examine his parking job. Perfect! Donnie helped Teghan out of the vehicle before opening the hatch and pulling out a blanket and a cooler full of food and drinks. He spread the blanket out under the willow tree. "Want some music?"

"Sure," Teghan said.

Donnie turned on the radio and increased the volume just enough so they could hear it, but not loud enough to draw attention to them.

"You listen to classic rock?" Teghan asked.

"Yeah, all the time."

"Really? Okay. Then tell me the name of this song." She sat down on the blanket, legs extended in front of her and ankles crossed. She propped herself up with her hands.

He grinned. "You got me. I hate this crap. I just thought you'd like it."

"You can put something else on."

"Nah." He lay down on his side next to her, his head propped in his hand. Donnie watched Teghan's head fall back to her shoulders as she closed her eyes and smiled. He rubbed her bare leg just above her knee. Her skin was warm to the touch, and as soft as fresh silk. "Hungry?" he asked.

"Yeah, a little. What did you bring?" She sat up straight and reached for the cooler.

Donnie kneeled beside her. "Mostly finger foods," he said. "Fruit, vegetables, mini-sandwiches, and bottled water. Basically, I bought anything that was pre-made and would fit in the cooler."

"Well, at least you're honest." She grabbed the plastic container of assorted fruit and opened it. "I could live on fresh fruit."

He sat back on his haunches and watched her pop strawberries, grapes, and bits of pineapple into her mouth. It was obvious she was no longer nervous about eating in front of him. He'd noticed the change in her the night they'd gone to an all-you-can-eat buffet. She had pigged out and he'd loved it. It meant she was getting comfortable with him, and that's exactly what he wanted. He wanted Teghan to be herself around him, to not hold anything back, and just be with him.

"Want some?" Teghan held out the bowl.

"No, thanks. I'm more of a greasy Philly cheese steak and fries kinda guy."

"A what?"

"A Philly cheese steak," he repeated. "It's a shaved steak sandwich with melted cheese and onions and peppers. You haven't had a real meal until you've had one."

"Ew," she said making a face.

He laughed. "I'm sure no place around here can make them as good as they do in Philly." He nudged her with his shoulder. "You'll just have to come home with me sometime so I can buy you one."

Teghan shook her head with an air of stubbornness. "I've always been cautious about what I eat. I had to in high school to maintain my spot on certain teams."

"Alex told me you were on the swim team and a cheerleader."

"I also competed in a few local ice skating competitions and took horseback riding lessons." She chewed on another strawberry.

"Wow. I'm impressed," Donnie said. "I had no idea you were such an over achiever."

"I'm not. Trust me. But my father believes that exposing us to a wide variety of activities will make us well-rounded adults. Personally, I think he was more concerned with the connections we could make for him."

"Your father scares me," he said.

Teghan chuckled. "He's an intimidating man, but behind all of it, he's really very kind. Did you know he made Trevor take dance lessons once?"

Donnie laughed. "Seriously?"

"Yup." She popped a grape into her mouth and chewed. "Of course, Trevor had a fit about it, so to make things fair, Dad made me take a six week course in auto repair."

"Wait." He held up his hand and shook his head. "You're telling me that you know how to fix a car?" He didn't believe it. Teghan was too feminine, too delicate to be able to work on a car. It just wasn't possible.

"No, I'm saying I took a six week class," Teghan said. "But I do know how to change a tire and check all the important fluids. I can also name all the major components under the hood of my Jeep. The best part of that class was learning about all the different types of cars. My favorite was by far the Aston Martin."

"I don't believe it." Donnie felt something smack him in the forehead. He looked down and picked it up from his lap. "Did you just throw a grape at me?"

Teghan shook her head no while giggling. "Stop being such a chauvinist." She stood up, glanced at him over her shoulder with a devilish smile, and made like she was going to run toward the water.

Donnie grabbed her around the waist before she could get too far away from him. "Oh, no you don't." He tumbled to the ground with Teghan in his arms. "Knowing my luck, you were the fastest girl on the track team or something."

"Not the fastest." She broke free from his grip and stood in a defensive pose, motioning with her hand for him to come. "Tae Kwon Do, three years."

Donnie plopped down on the blanket and threw his hands in the air. "I draw the line at fighting girls." He laughed. "Is there anything you haven't done?"

Teghan sat beside him, her knees tucked to her chest. "Hmm, I've never been surfing. Or gone hiking in the mountains."

"So let's go tomorrow," he said.

"I can't. Sunday dinner, remember?"

"Right." He leaned back on his elbows. "Alex coming?"

"Yes."

"He didn't invite me this time," Donnie said.

Teghan straddled him. "You don't have anything to worry about." She put her hands on either side of his face and brought her lips to his.

Donnie wrapped his arms around her back and leaned into her embrace. It was the first time she'd ever kissed him like that--soft, needy, full of passion. It was making him hard. "I'm not worried," he said. "I just don't like the idea that he gets to spend the day with you and I don't." She was right. He was worried. He knew that Alex still loved Teghan, and Alex had the advantage in that he had known her for years and he was welcome at her house anytime. Donnie on the other hand, had really blown it with Teghan's father the one and only time he'd been at her house. But damn it, Rob had crossed the line asking so many personal questions about Donnie's family. And what was with Rob asking repeatedly where Donnie lived? What did it matter anyway?

She smiled against his lips. "I told you. You don't have anything to worry about."

"Promise?" He dragged his hands up and down her back, kissing her hard as he did. His mouth moved along her jawline, down her neck, across her collarbone, and dipped into the plunging neckline of her tank top. She tasted sweet, like confectioners' sugar and honey. He wanted more.

"Mmm hmm." Teghan reached for the hem of her top and pulled it off over her head. She wasn't wearing a bra.

Donnie moaned as he took her breast into his mouth, flicking his tongue over the nipple. He was rock hard, straining against his shorts. Stopping long enough to tear his shirt over his head, he closed his mouth around her nipple, moving from one to the other and back again. He couldn't get his fill of her. She was just too good, too sweet. Donnie watched the way her hair fell to her shoulders as she rocked on his lap. Her eyes were closed, her bottom lip tucked between her teeth, and her hands resting on her thighs. God he wanted to be inside of her. To feel her wrapped around him. He undid her belt and she sat up on her knees, just enough to accommodate him, as he pulled her shorts and panties down over her hips. Donnie brought her back down to his lap and kissed her hard on the mouth.

"Donnie," she whispered while fumbling with the zipper on his shorts. "I want you."

He'd waited so long to hear her say that. Those three little words--I want you--simple, yet totally fucking hot. It only took seconds for Donnie to free himself and slip on a condom. He grabbed Teghan's hips and let out a throaty sigh of pleasure as she slid down on him, taking all of him deep inside of her. "Shit...Teghan...you feel so good," he moaned. Donnie wallowed in the pleasure of Teghan rocking her hips, grinding against his black patch of curls. The harder she breathed and the louder she moaned, the larger he grew. The physical need to come overcame his senses. His stomach muscles clenched and he grit his teeth. It was too soon. After being pushed away and interrupted, he was finally inside of her. Today was the first time they'd made love, and it would be the last day he saw her for almost a week. He'd be damned if he was going to blow his wad early. Hell no! He was going to enjoy her. The sight of it, of her meeting the upward surge of his hips with a downward thrust of her own, was the most erotic thing he'd ever seen. He dug his fingers into her waist and held her still. "Easy, babe, easy."

She tried to rock on him. "Please," Teghan breathed. Her hips moved in a circular motion around his cock. "I need...I need to move, Donnie."

"You're killing me," he groaned as he released her hips, allowing her to ride him again.

"Oh, God!" she screamed.

Donnie held her down on him, pounding into her as she tightened around him. She was coming and damn if he wasn't right there with her--teetering on the edge of the most extreme pleasure two people could give each other. He felt Teghan come down hard, one last time, as their bodies exploded around each other, becoming one. "Hell, yeah!" Donnie moaned. He hugged her tight. "Teghan." He gave her a gentle reassuring kiss.

Teghan fought to open her eyes as she clung to Donnie's sweaty body. She'd just had sex, outside, at a state park. Embarrassment quickly gave way to exhilaration. The thrill of getting caught made her heart race. Who knew she'd enjoy exhibitionism?

"You okay?" Donnie asked.

"Yeah." Teghan climbed off his lap and reached for her shirt. She didn't know what else to do. What was the proper etiquette for post-coital outdoor sex? Cuddling seemed out of the question. So did continuing to sit on his lap naked.

Donnie buckled his shorts and he settled beside her on an elbow. He ran a hand through his sweat-drenched hair. "Feel like going for a swim?"

"We don't have any suits with us."

He grinned. "So?"

Teghan's eyes widened. Skinny dipping? Now that was something she'd never tried before. She dropped her top to the ground and smiled at him. "Let's go." She took off for the beach and squealed with laughter when her feet hit the water. It was cooler than she'd expected, but it felt good against her still sweaty, tingly skin. "Are you coming?"

Donnie stood on the sand, the water lapping at his toes. "It's cold," he said.

"This was your idea," she reminded him. "It's not so bad once you get in." Her eyes raked over his naked body. The muscles stacked upon muscles, his svelte stomach and hips came together, narrowing into a Y that showcased his manhood. Teghan licked her lips. Her body started to buzz at the thought of fucking him again. She'd never had a libido this strong with Alex. It was unfamiliar, but exciting. She could get used to it, maybe even thrive on it.

"You're crazy, you know that?" he said as he tip-toed further into the water.

Teghan stood and walked toward Donnie. She dipped her hands into the water and splashed him.

"Oh, you're going to get it now." He dove after her, grabbing her around her stomach, and tossing her into the water.

She laughed. "Is that all you got?"

They wrestled in the water for several moments before he said, "Okay, you win."

Teghan swam to him and jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. "What do I win?" she asked in a seductive whisper.

Donnie walked toward the shore and laid her down in the shallow water. "Me," he said, kissing her.

She spread her legs, inviting him, as he slipped down her body, kissing her stomach, lingering momentarily on her belly button before licking the indentation of her waist and hipbone. His hot breath on her cool, damp, skin felt like a thousand fiery kisses raining down on her. He set her body ablaze like it never had been before. She ached for more, to bottle up what she felt right now and keep it close to her forever. He was above her again, whispering for her to open her eyes, to look at him, and the moment she did, her breath was lost. There was an energy between them, a deep, soul searing connection that hadn't been there before. The power of it, the realization of what was happening had Teghan closing her eyes again. She felt Donnie kiss her eyelids.

"Teghan," he whispered. "Open your eyes for me, babe."

It was a request she couldn't deny. She opened her eyes and looked up into his dark, lustful, green eyes as he pushed himself into her. Each thrust pushed the breath from her lungs and a cry from her lips. "Kiss me," she pleaded, bunching his hair between her fingers, and taking what she wanted from him.
