“I’m part of you, we both are,” his father said. “You
are
your father’s son.”

Macey went to Taz and smiled, tilting her head to gaze into his eyes. “Thank you.”

“For what?”

“Trusting me with your family.”

Taz’s parents held hands and drifted from their sight. He smiled. There was something else about his kind. They didn’t cease to exist; they went on to a new plane of existence. Krish’s kind never did. When they were gone, they were no more. There was no one to remember them. It was Macey and her ability to open his heart that gave him the gift of his parents. He realized now why they hadn’t come to him. The second Krish filled him with hate and loathing, he was lost. Macey found him. A good feeling settled over Taz. One day he would see his parents for real. But not now. Right now was his and Macey’s time.

Taz took her into his arms and settled her against the old comforter his mother made. The material was old but durable, the proto type for the replicator and clothes he and Macey wore in the dream.

She gasped when her clothes vanished. “Taz, how did you do that?”

“You’re in my dream now.”

Her breasts tasted as sweet in this different reality, or dimension, he wasn’t certain which and didn’t care. Her nipples hardened to pebbles as he teased them with his tongue. Round in circles he tormented, then drew in as much breast as possible. Taz made his clothes vanish. Macey stroked his hard cock. He wondered if it was possible for them to conceive this way, though he doubted it.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and whispered he could do anything to her. That shot his heart rate up. He smiled at her when he detached his mouth from her tit.

“You play with fire,” he taunted.

“I play with you, a powerful, deadly Tonan warrior. Fire can kiss my ass.”

“Sounds good.”

She squealed when he flipped her over and using his teeth bit her bare behind. Small bites followed over her ass to her thighs and she wiggled. She was trying to grab him and laughed while she howled.

“We’re in a dream, it’s not supposed to hurt,” she cried out. Taz flipped her and winked. Macey looked at him in panic. “Oh no.”

“You said anything.”

Taz pounced between her legs diving in face first. Macey beat at him while laughing uproariously. Taz growled as he sucked, nipped and licked his way in her, around her and over her mound. Macey exhausted herself and lay moaning. Her legs were shaking and she called to him. He dragged his way up her body and settled a hefty amount of weight on her. She groaned.

“You should never battle a warrior,” he flipped her over and smacked her ass. She yelped.

“Taz you should have a middle name so I can yell at you.”

He chuckled and smacked her again. She groaned and held still. “Do you yield?”

“Taz Manian Devil,” she yelled.

Taz swatted her one more time and flipped her over. He plunged into her heat and she cried out.

“Holy fuck,” she whispered.

Taz paused. “You swear when you’re feeling passionate about something.”

“You’re killing me. Move some weight off.”

“Ah, you think I’m fat.”

“I didn’t before, hefty. I do now.”

He plunged harder. “I don’t think my cock will grow.”

“You mean this is a good, old fashioned holy fuck?”

Taz gripped her wrists over her head and began to thump wildly. Macey groaned, whimpered and screamed when she came. The feel of her and her taste were the same when awake. He missed his cock growing but something in his shield told him after must it would be like this, without his cock growing overly large, until another must hit in four or five years.

Her warm wetness seeped into him, flooding his senses with her. She didn’t mind him being rough; she trusted him. When he didn’t engorge too fully, he could hammer his hips against her repeatedly without worry of hurting her. He pinned every inch of her beneath him making her completely vulnerable. In and out he thrust hard, listening to the clap of thunder he created between her thighs. Macey gasped and bit into his flesh. He tightened his hand around her wrists and squeezed her ass until she howled and came again. Taz bellowed shaking the tree house. He collapsed over top of her.

“We need to talk about a diet for you,” she groaned.

“I’m certain my shield will get right on that.”

“If it gets on it I’m certain it will crush it.”

Taz rolled and tugged her on top of him. “Go to sleep, human female.”

“Yes, my alien lover.”

* * * *

Taz left early before anyone was awake. He left his clothes in a tree trunk and, shielded, he didn’t go far before he heard weeping, lots of weeping. Curious, Taz followed the sound. A small group of females were sitting around a smoldering fire. All had sadness tears spilling from their eyes. The scent bothered him. Taz dropped his shield. They all jumped to their feet as Taz approached. One was bleeding from her lip. She held out both hands, her fear was apparent.

“We have nothing. They took everything.”

“Who took what?” Taz asked.

“The men over there stole our food and kicked out our fire.”

Taz looked over to where six men sat. One of them waved. Taz decided to break his arm in such a way he’d never wave again.

“They told us to sit here and not move,” a young female said, her entire body shook. “They said they’d be back over for dessert when they are done eating.”

“Hey fuck head,” a man yelled to Taz. “Move along. The babes are ours. Get your own.”

“Nice pants,” another yelled. “Spandex is really the only way to go.” The others howled with laughter.

Taz glared at the men. They were no better than Krish’s kind.

“You’re one of the aliens aren’t you?” One of the women said. She shifted her gaze from his eyes to his chest to his eyes. “There are…stories.”

“Some of the stories are true,” Taz said in a menacing voice making the women huddle closer. “Listen carefully,” Taz said to the women. “In a moment, you will all be terrified of me. You are not to leave. I won’t hurt you, and when I return, you will listen. If you run and I have to track any of you down, I’ll be pissed. Trust me; you don’t want to fuck with me. Understand?”

Their gaze’s wide, they nodded. The women began screaming when Taz’s shield came up. All of them fell into a crouched position and didn’t move. All the men jumped to their feet. Taz strode over and disemboweled three of them with one swipe of his talons. A fast twist to another’s neck and the bones snapped to pierce the skin. Two were left. One dropped to his knees and begged for his life, the other ran. Taz jumped and landed in front of the fleeing male. He rammed four of his talons into the man’s guts and lifted him high into the air, shaking him until he dangled limply.

“Never make jokes about a Tonan’s clothes—we’re touchy,” Taz said and snarled. He dropped the dead man.

When he looked back to the women three were sprawled face down. There was too much death in the air for Taz to determine if the females had been frightened to death. He walked a circle around the whimpering man who continued to plead for his life. He was genuinely terrified, he also reeked of deception. If Taz let him live he would join with another band and steal again. The male was a coward in the worst way. He crouched near him.

“If I told you I would let you live only if you kill those women what would you say?” Taz said.

“I’ll do anything you say. Tell me which one dies first.”

Taz sliced the male’s head from his shoulders with a talon. The face plopped nose first into the dirt. He heard the other females retching. Standing, Taz gazed at the fallen males. He wouldn’t lie to himself, it felt good to kill, but he was a new kind of a warrior. Earth needed a new kind of warrior.

His shield dropped when he strode back to the females. He squatted onto the balls of his feet. Two of the three who fainted were stirring. They cowered back in terror seeing him so close. He gave a gentle shake to the female face planted on the ground. She screamed when she woke and scooted into the arms of an older female, her mother perhaps.

“I am a Tonan. One of the alien beings sent here. You,” he centered his gaze on the oldest. “If you go on a shuttle to my planet you will be slaughtered for sport. The rest of you won’t want to live.”

“I was given a ticket for a shuttle,” a young female said.

“So was I.”

“And me.”

Taz raised his shield. “Take a good look at what your jailers will be. What you saw was nothing for me to do. I could battle all day and never fall. My kind is relentless and last for hours. Imagine the talons on your backsides as palms press into you to hold you in place. All have no mercy.”

“Are you going to kill us?” the oldest one questioned.

“No. And you will not speak of me to anyone. Find a place to hide until the shuttles are gone. Stay away from males, all males. Now retrieve your food and away with you.” Taz dropped his shield and turned.

“We can share,” the oldest female said. Taz turned. She cleared her throat and he could scent embarrassment. “Do you mind going and getting it? You made a huge mess.”

“Females,” Taz grumbled.

Queasy from a little blood.

Mumbling to himself Taz went to retrieve the food.

* * * *

“The food is cleaned and cooked?” Greta’s eyes widened when Taz handed her a rabbit fresh from a spit and a basket filled with cheeses and bread.

“You just have to know where to look,” Taz said.

Macey smiled at him then hauled him outside. “Where did that food come from?”

“I ran into a few men who had stolen from a group of females. I gave most of the food back but asked them for the amount I brought home. Considering they would have had nothing they were eager to oblige.”

“You didn’t steal it from them, or take it by force?”

“I took it by force from the males who would let females starve.” Taz sounded angry and his jaw twitched. Macey realized she’d hurt his feelings. That was a first.

“Did you kill the men or do I even want to know?”

“You don’t want to know, Macey. Evil is spreading over Earth. You know how far I can travel in a mere hour. Packs of children are running wild. Groups of males are banding together. The shuttles are leaving in droves and people are fighting to get on. Wouldn’t they be scared shitless to know Earth is safer? The males will be slaughtered, the children enslaved and the females…”

“I don’t want to hear,” Macey said. “Thank you for feeding your family.”

Taz grabbed her shirt before she went back inside, stopping her. “I will do what it takes to keep all of you safe. I’m a Tonan. I make no apologies for who I am and what I’m capable of.”

“I know.” She traced her finger down his cheek. “I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. I know you’re fueled by love at times.”

Taz took her hand and kissed her finger. “Unless a female tries to kill you or the others, I promise I won’t hurt females. I make no excuses for slaughtering males.”

“Why do you hate males so much?”

“I’m a warrior. I’ve always battled male beings. Always. Human males are weak. I don’t hate all of them. I loathe the ones who hurt for sport. They end up looking like Krish in my mind.”

Macey understood. She was surprised he could love after being beaten down for hundreds of years. It showed her how strong he was. She wouldn’t question his honor ever again.

“I’m going around back to dig a hole to attach to the cellar. Keep everyone away. I need my claws and talons to dig that low.”

“Aren’t you going to eat?”

Taz hesitated. “I’ll need to eat eventually, but there’s a good strong sun today. I can regenerate further by working in the rays. This food should last you four for the day. The little ones need their strength.”

“Are you all right?” Macey asked. He seemed off.

“When a Tonan kills, blood lust runs high even in my kind. I’m designed to battle, I’m a born warrior. Those males reeked of deception. They deserved to die. I need to work this emotion off. Go. Eat.”

Taz strode away, peeling his shirt from his torso as he went. As he kicked off his pants his shield went up. Macey wandered back inside. Haven had her cheeks stuffed with food. Macey sat amidst the others and reached for a piece of rabbit. It was strange going from the fresh food she’d eaten on the other planet, and the flavors from the replicator were to die for. She wished she could take her family to the planet.

“Isn’t Taz eating?” Greta asked.

“No. He doesn’t eat much,” Macey replied.

“It’s because of us isn’t it?” Skylar asked. “Are we too much responsibility?”

“No, sweetheart. You’re not too much responsibility. Taz really doesn’t eat much. But when he does, you better watch out or he’ll eat your toes.” Macey reached over to tickle each girl.

They ate in silence for a while until Macey noted Haven squirming. “Haven, do you need to go outside?”

“I do, but I’ve been able to use the washroom alone since I was three.”

“I’ll go see if Taz is done. He was digging a hole out back to connect with the cellar.”

“My goodness, the poor man, it’s hot out there. First all that snow, now all this heat. I can’t keep up. I bet people prone to migraines are wishing the pharmacies were open,” Greta said.

“Taz loves the sun,” Macey said and chuckled as she went outside to find Taz.

His clothes were scattered and she collected them to take to him. Macey was stunned when she saw how much digging Taz had accomplished. She peered down into the hole. It was dark but she knew Taz could see. When he jumped from the hole to stand in front of her she screamed in surprise. He dragged her to his chest and jumped. There was a thump when he landed. He pulled her underground inside another hole he’d made to connect to the cellar. He hadn’t broken through. His shield dropped.

Taz pinned her to the dirt standing. He dragged her shirt over her head and tossed it. His lips claimed hers. Macey would have been worried at his intenseness if she didn’t love him so much. The dirt behind her naked back crumbled and tickled its way into her pants. She wiggled her ass. Taz soon had her unclothed. He fumbled with his sleek grey pants for a moment and spread her thighs. He covered her mouth with his hand and thrust into her.
