Her heart beat quicker and her hands moved up from his arms to close tightly around his broad shoulders as he leaned into her, her hands biting into him, her previous concern gone in her need to hold him to her. His hand stroked sensuously up and down her body, his thumb rubbing the underside of her breast, and his leg moved to insinuate itself between hers. She widened her legs instinctively and felt his thigh rub against her mound. She cursed inwardly that she was wearing such thick clothes now and wished she had the courage to wrap a leg around his.

Meanwhile his lips continued their seductive ambush on hers. By the time he lifted his head, she felt drugged, unable to cobble together an intelligent thought. Nor could she have told anyone if it lasted one minute or one hour.

Clearly unaware of her unfocussed frame of mind, he stated, “So, to finish this chapter off, I’m having our hero now make mad, passionate love to Felissa.”

What
!”

Matt sat up looking a little concerned. “I hope that wasn’t horror that I might do that to you—I was only saying that’s what will happen in the story,” he finished lamely.

She sat up, too, her arms a little shaky. Her voice was husky. “Of course. I knew that. I was just still stunned by the kiss.”
Well, that and the way he had touched me.

He grinned. “It was good, eh?”

Smiling back, she hit him playfully on the arm. “I have no intention of making your head any bigger. Now, are we finished for the night?”

“Well, unless you want to try out the mad, passionate love bit.” He looked at her hopefully with his puppy-dog expression.

She laughed. “Uh–uh. I think you’ll have no problems imagining that bit.”

Going into the bathroom to change clothes, she leaned back against the door taking a deep sigh. As much as she would like him to make love to her, she didn’t think he meant it.
If only
.

Chapter 5

Matt was nervous as he read through his story notes while waiting for Lissa to arrive. Of course it had originally just been a vehicle to use in his seduction plans, but now he had started the story for real. He read the key words he had underlined, “shirt,” “breasts,” “table,” “pussy,” and mused for a moment.

He then thought back to her last visit. He felt he got away with murder that time, well, both visits actually. The first when he had touched her breasts—admittedly over her clothes—had been amazing enough. And then the whipping scene after which they kissed long and hard. It was even more startling that she not only let him do these things but she seemed to enjoy it. He grinned. So did he. He still recalled the delicious taste of her mouth, her lush breasts, and best of all he not only fondled her butt but whipped it!

Also, he admitted, it was fun to have someone to bounce his ideas off and practice scenes with. He’d never been able to do that with Sam. He chuckled to himself. Of course, it was even better that Lissa was female and beautiful.

Then he remembered the next scene he had written which involved the hero touching the heroine intimately, more intimate than before. To be specific, it involved touching her naked skin. There’s no way Lissa would let him do that
. Would she?

A knock came. He jumped up, his heart beating violently.

Lissa smiled at him broadly as he opened the door. “Hi. Thought I’d bring sustenance this time.” She held up some fried chicken takeout.

He groaned. Last time they had gotten so carried away and he had been so keen to touch her that neither remembered he was supposed to order food until after she had left.

She chuckled and waved the food in front of his face as she walked into his apartment. He put his hands on his hips and stared after her. She was getting a bit sassy these days. He grinned as he followed her.

As they cleared the table, Lissa tried to look at his notes, but he swiftly removed them with a rebuke and they laid the food out. They hungrily dug in, both determined to eat before they got into today’s session, and then Lissa took the lead in the discussion.

“Right, I’ll recap this time. Felissa…” She paused to giggle at the name then stopped at Matt’s mournful look. “Sorry, Felissa is the heroine, and she is incredibly beautiful—naturally. Although I’ve often thought it would be good to read a story where the heroine is run of the mill or even ugly, but it probably won’t work.”

“Hm, I agree.”

“Anyway, I digress. She escapes from her nasty owner, is kidnapped by handsome, strong, masculine bounty hunter Garin.”

“Don’t over-egg it.”

“Did you not listen to us when we clearly stated that the hero has to be good-looking and alpha male?” she patiently, if patronizingly, asked.

“All right, get on with it.”

“Hm. I can see why you need a research assistant. Returning to the résumé—both fight intense attraction to each other, so Felissa runs away. Naturally Garin finds her and whips her in punishment but ends up making love to her—mad, passionate love I believe was how you described it. Check?”

Matt chuckled in between grabbing some french fries from her side of the table. “Check.”

“Hey, stop taking advantage of me being distracted remembering this slightly implausible story.” She slapped at his hands. “You know, you have yet to add chocolate to this story.”

A chuckle followed. “Sorry, this is outer space, and they don’t have chocolate.”

She pouted. “So what comes next? They disappear off to the Horsehead Nebula and make gorgeous babies? And I am telling you now I am not getting pregnant for the sake of this story.”

He laughed loudly. “Don’t worry. Neither is happening.”

“Neither?” She looked confused.

“I am not making you pregnant.” He was surprised that she looked momentarily disappointed. “Nor are they going off to the Horsehead Nebula. Actually,” he suddenly invented as he continued, “I’ve decided he isn’t going to make passionate love to her after that kiss. It’s too soon. I need to build up some more tension. I’ve been doing some online reading about romances, and they state you have to build up the sexual arousal.”

He looked at Lissa. She was frowning as she concentrated on what he was saying.

“Hm. You’re probably right. How are you gonna do that?”

Anxiety hit him. He hadn’t actually written this part of the scene yet. Being a typical man, he got straight to the touching bit. Well, he suspected he was being a typical man. He paused, sitting back to finish off some chicken. Thinking quickly, he created a scene as she studied him intently. “They hit a storm of meteorites, and the ship is damaged. Felissa helps him with some repairs…”

Lissa interrupted him, gesturing with some fries as she did, “Why would she do that? He has kidnapped her after all. She’d surely be happy that his ship is stuck and he can’t take her back to her owner.”

Matt groaned. She had a habit of being pedantic, but he didn’t regret asking her to assist him, not least because it gave him the opportunity to gradually seduce her. But she really did make him work at this plot.

“Because they will be stranded in space forever if she didn’t help as the communications console was also impaired and they would slowly starve. Happy now?”

“Quick thinking, Captain Kirk. Go on.”

As he huffed at her interruption, she gave him a look of innocence. He narrowed his eyes, knowing he would get even with her shortly, and continued, “After they have finished the repairs, they climb out of the belly of the ship, and both are covered in dirt.” As he got into his story, he rose to pace, and then suddenly stopped in front of Lissa, who had turned her chair to watch, the food forgotten. He held out his hands to indicate he wanted her to stand.

He looked at her outfit. It was a fairly plain white shirt. He suspected not a special one after the last session. “You’ll have to forgive me for what I do next, but it is necessary for the story and I’ll repay you.”

“Repa—” She never finished what she was saying as he suddenly grabbed hold of her shirt and ripped it open. “
Ahhhhhh
.” She raised her hands to cover her breasts and looked down in astonishment at her ripped shirt, some buttons rolling around on the floor. “I don’t believe you just did that.”

Ignoring her breasts covered in a white lace bra, he studied her reaction closely. She didn’t seem
too
angry, more bewildered. He resolved to go for it. “I am creating a space version of the traditional ‘bodice-ripper’ scene,” he explained patiently, hoping that he hadn’t made a big mistake.

She groaned.

He narrowed his eyes. Her mouth was turned up at the corners like she was holding back a grin.
Was she amused by what I did, or even better, had she enjoyed it
? He was surprised by how much he liked doing it. He took a peek down and felt himself harden. The tops of her breasts were billowing over the edge of the cups.

Deciding she would forgive him for what he had just done, he moved closer, gathering her in his arms. She squealed but clasped him to her, not away from her. He was heartened and bent his head forward to kiss her shoulder, then her neck. She moaned as he did. His hands stroked her back. He felt her quiver.

This was good. He continued trying to divert her attention with kisses and caresses while he undid her bra. Or at least he tried to. The problem was he couldn’t find the clasp. Getting annoyed, he stepped back. “Okay, where the hell is the clasp.”

She stood distracted. “The what?”

“Clasp, of your bra. Where is the clasp?” He gestured to her front.

Lissa burst out laughing. Her hands came up to cover her face as she giggled in hysteria.

He crossed his arms. “
What
is so funny?” This was very irritating, particularly as it had been going so well.

Calming down, she wiped her tears off her face. “Oh, that’s a good one. Has every girl you’ve been out with had a bra with a clasp at the front?” she asked, hiccupping once or twice.

Realizing his error, he flushed. “Ah. Sorry, I just got so into it, it didn’t occur to me. Well, all the women have front clasps in the books you gave me.”

That set her off again, and she turned away to gulp some Coke to calm herself as he stood fuming. “Matt, sweetheart. Gina warned me you can be so naïve at times. Of course they have front-clasped bras in the books. It makes it so much easier for the hero. However, most bras have clasps in the back. God knows why? It can be really difficult to do up, particularly when you’re in a hurry. And some women wear sports bras which have no clasp at all but come off over the head like a sweater.”

“Please tell me yours isn’t one of them,” he pleaded. “Stop it. If you laugh again, I’m throwing you out of here as you are, ripped shirt or no ripped shirt.”

She bit her lip and squelched a laugh. “No, just a back clasp.” She still managed a minichuckle.

He suddenly grabbed her. This stopped her laughter. He didn’t throw her out as he warned but pulled her toward him, trapping her between his body and the table as he felt under the ripped shirt and undid the bra—successfully this time. “Hm. For the sake of the story, I am going to have her wear such a flimsy bra that it gets pulled in two as he rips her shirt.”

Nestling in his arms, her hands on his chest she rolled her eyes at him. “That’s a cop-out.”

Spanking her butt at that comment, he then followed this up by rubbing his hand over her round globes, squeezing her gently. “Tough, this is my story. I can always change the heroine’s name, you know.”

“What, you want to finish this story off with Rebecca or Kat?”

“God no!”

She giggled. “Don’t be mean to them just because they are self-assured. I wish I was like them.” She stopped when he frowned fiercely at her.

“I don’t want you self-assured. I like you the way you are.”
