“I love you,” she whispered, taking a different route. Leaning into him, Elizabeth g
ently took his lips with hers and began to kiss him into submission. There were ways to make her big strong man let go, and this was it.

Ethan took his wife in his arms
and held her protectively against his chest. All the love he was feeling spread from his body to hers, stealing away some of the fear with it. What scared him most was losing her, and then trying to survive the aftermath. Everything Ares said in the shop had rattled him.

Without her
in his life, he would be nothing.

The day he found her
in Salem, life began and now it was at risk.

As she ran her hands through his hair, he
began to feel more alive and far less cold. Here she was, forcing life back into him with breath and touch. This was the woman who guarded his heart and would for all his dying days.

Elizabeth allowed her body to go lax, giving him the opportunity to lead. She’d willingly follow where ever he needed to go to find peace. Her heart ache
d as she was forced to watch him suffer in silence. “Make love to me, Ethan,” Elizabeth pleaded as she wanted him to find solace in her body.

She didn't need to ask him twice.

Releasing her, they both stood. Slowly, he began removing her clothing. First, he unsnapped the belt buckle, and then he pushed her jeans down as his lips continued to explore her throat and neck. The delicate perfume she wore filled his senses and made him want more and more of the woman in his arms. “Lyzee,” he whispered into her ear. “Without you, I’m nothing.”

Her fingers found the buttons of his dress shirt, and
readily got to work. When it was open, she slipped it from his shoulders and began to leave kisses over the raven inked there. The tattoo meant everything to them as a couple. Where at one time it had brought him shame, it now depicted an amazing love story.

It was their tale.

“Ethan, the need for you never stops,” she replied, meaning every word of it. She was a very lucky woman in life and love, there was no doubt.

Ethan pulled the shirt from her body
and ran his hands over the swell of breasts held in the lacy pink bra. His heart pounded, reminding him that she was all he would ever need to survive. This woman undid him.

Following his fingers, his lips left
their own trail across the swell of her chest. “I love the feel of your body,” he murmured, as his wife dropped his dress pants and boxers. Lifting her in his arms, he crawled across their king size bed to place her in the center.

“I want to taste you, feel you, and make love to you,” he said, staring down into her eyes.

“Yes, Ethan. You know it will always be yes.”

He lowered himself
until his body was pressed along the length of hers. Tan skin met the pale creamy white, and it made his mouth water. The contrast to him was always so erotic and maddening. Here lay his porcelain goddess, and he was consumed with the need to worship her.

As he pulled her bra lower,
to free her breasts, her hands found the silky strands of his hair. It always enthralled her how perfect it was. Where hers was black, his was deeper, darker and far richer in color.

When he took her nipple into his mouth, she moaned in pure delight. “God, Ethan,” she mumbled,
as all the heat pooled low in her body at his touch. It had been like this since the first time they’d made love.

Switching to the other
one, he teased and played with it until he was making himself crazy. Staring up into her face, his eyes were dark with lust and need. Touching her was like heaven and he never wanted to stop.

Lower he travelled
, leaving kisses across her navel, in hopes that one day another of his children would live and grow there. In his heart, he wanted it more than anything. He wanted the woman he loved to be full and ripe with another Blackhawk child.

Ethan
coveted that more than anything in the entire world.

Further he slid, until he found his most treasured prize. The taste of his woman on his tongue called to him, as he teased and tormented her to the pinnacle of pleasure. What he wanted was her name cascading from her lips. For now, she was safe and in his arms and that was all that mattered.

“Ethan,” she writhed as he knew exactly the way to get to her. The man had incredible oral skills and was the epitome of pleasure. He brought her to orgasm easily, shoving her headlong into the abyss.

In her mind, he was some dark fallen angel, cast aside because of his wicked ways. Ethan Blackhawk was sin in a man’s body, and she knew it. From the second
that she had seen him, he owned her, and it was her pleasure to repeatedly give him what he wanted.

“More,” he stated, staring up her body as her body was bowed and hands clenched the sheets to anchor her pleasure rocked body.

“Fill me, Ethan,” she begged, praying he’d give her what she needed.

Moving
back up her frame, he granted her wish. Sliding into her, he began moving until he found the perfect rhythm. When he could feel the bite of her nails into his shoulders, he knew that he was doing everything right. “Fall for me again,” he ordered, switching the angle and hitting just the right spot.

Her breath was ripped away, as he barely gave her time to refocus before once more she was tumbling. “Ethan,” she called, wishing
that he would join her.

Ethan waited
and remained incredibly still as his woman convulsed around his body. It lured him closer, but he refused to fall.

He wanted and needed so much more.

When her eyes cleared, she pulled him down to her mouth to sink into the kiss. As Ethan focused on that, Elizabeth rolled with him still buried deep in her body. “My turn, handsome,” she purred as her body drove the new pace.

This was her favorite position, be
cause she could watch his face and see him find the ultimate pleasure. There was something erotic about him beneath her and at her mercy.

“Oh, Lyzee,” he moaned, as she slid up slowly to fall fast and hard. “So good! Please, don’t ever stop.”
This time it was his fingertips biting deliciously into her hips as he held on for dear life.

Ethan never had to worry about any of it ceasing to exist
. That was damn sure. These moments were addicting and desperately needed to survive. Continuing the motion, Elizabeth watched his eyes cloud with desire. She’d seen the look before, and he wasn’t far from the edge.

She linked her hands with his,
as she pressed them above his head, making him even more of her prisoner. With each slide down his erection, he moaned and fought for control. “Please,” he begged as the pleasure overwhelmed him. “Finish me.”

Elizabeth gave him his wish
as she released his hands and pulled him up into the sitting position. As her body made love to his, her mouth followed suit. Tongues slid silkily across each other, pulling pleasure from the kiss.

“Please tell me you’re close,” he whispered, his body shaking as she rode him.

Oh, she was right there with him. When his hands went to her hips, pulling her down harder and at the perfect angle, she knew it was time. “Now,” she whispered, taking him with her over the edge, mouth to mouth and together as one.

He tumbled as he was
wrapped in the pleasure of the moment. Now, Ethan was surrounded by the one person who could always find the way to heal his heart and soul when he was hurting.

“Ethan,” she moaned, feeling herself falling with him to the bed and pillows. Elizabeth was in his arms
and protectively back against his strong frame.

The only sound in the room was the tick of his wristwatch and the slight labor of breathing from them both.

“Want to talk now?” she finally asked.

“Yes,” he replied
, needing to get it off his chest.

“What’s haunting you, Ethan?”

“I want to give you something,” he answered, reaching down into his messenger bag and pulling the little box out. “I bought this today,” and then he told her everything that the man had said.

Elizabeth took it in her hand and opened
it. Inside sat a beautiful ring.

“It’s for you to remember me when we’re apart, and to keep you safe when I no longer can.”

Emotions swamped her. The love that she felt for him was overwhelming. “Ethan, it’s gorgeous!”

She hugged him
and could feel all the worry begin to return. If telling him would give him peace, she would offer just that. “I bought wind chimes. I wasn’t going to, but I felt the need.” Then she told him what Artemis said about Timothy.

Ethan listened intently.

“I don’t know how they knew, but I still believe he’s around. Maybe all the
‘thin veil’
talk is true. Whatever the reason, I’m going to be safe. She told him about the dream and the Kevlar while they were in Cypress Grove. Ethan was aware that he told her to wear it, but she shared the rest. “If I wore it, I wouldn’t see him for a long time. I don’t believe I’m in danger. Now, I need you to believe that too.”

He closed his eyes. “If anything were to happen to you, I’d die. I almost did when you were taken. To find you on an altar,” his voice cracked as emotion filled him. “It would destroy me.”

Taking his face in her palms, she stared into his eyes. “I promise you that I will be fine. I have NEVER broken a promise to you or Callen, have I?”

He shook his head.
Ethan stared into her eyes and found reassurance and steely resolve. “I want to have more kids.” He finally got it off his chest. “I know that you want to wait, but I need a daughter. I hold little Cat and I see her changing. She isn’t going to look like you, or me. It hurts to know that we don’t have a little girl made from us.”

She understood. Already
, Catherine’s eyes were going green. They weren’t the same eerie color as Desdemona’s but more a mix of hers and Callen’s.

“I want a little you running around, raising hell and making all of us crazy. I want more
little children to fill our home. When I leave work and head home, I find my peace. When CJ calls me daddy, I feel like everything I see every day is justified. The death, the hell, and the pain all fall away.  I know you don’t want more right now, but I do.”

She stared at him. “It’s not that I don’t want more kids, Ethan.” Had she made him feel that way? “I’m tired. My body needed a
little break. I swear to you on my own life, you’ll have more children. I wish I could promise you a house full of girls. Just give me a couple more months. I’ll be able to pull off another pregnancy.”

He’d take it. “
Do you promise?”

Her lips met his
and she punctuated each of her words with a gentle kiss to his lips. “I swear to you, my sweet darling man.”

Ethan relaxed
at her words of endearment and began to think about his grandfather. “Do you think he’s here?”

“Yes, I do.”

He thought about it. “Then we better get dressed.”

Elizabeth laughed. “You’re probably right.”

Then he reconsidered. “Unless you think that we should practice making more kids. I may be a little rusty, since it has been a while.”

She
would never say no her Ethan.

“Practice with me
, Lyzee my love?”

“Absolutely, Mr. Blackhawk.”

It didn't take Callen long to return
to the room with dinner.  When he found them, they were both semi dressed and his brother looked much calmer. Something compelled him to go to him. “Ethan?”

He looked up from his phone. “Yeah
, Cal?”

“I love you.” With that, he hugged
his brother tight.

Ethan was completely caught off guard. “I love you too, Cal.
Are you okay?”

“I just needed to tell you, because
I don’t say it nearly enough.” In fact, he planned on saying it more often to everyone who he loved.

Blackhawk didn't know what to say, but for the moment he leaned on his brother and just enjoyed the familiarity
of his touch. Here was the man that he had carried for so many months, and now he was offering him some strength.

Ethan accepted it and leaned while he was feeling off balance. There was no doubt
his brother would have his back.

Elizabeth crossed to them
and joined in the embrace. “I love you both,” she said, wiggling her way between them.

Callen grinned. “I love you too.”

Ethan didn't have any words. He simply stared into their faces, as tears filled his eyes.

Nothing
that he could say could top what he was feeling and willing to share.

He rested his forehead against theirs and took the chance at being weak, and in the end he didn't suffer alone.

He found everything that he needed in their love.
