“I need to get dressed and go.”

After he left, I stayed on my bed, exhausted. I felt dirty, but at the same time I felt more alive than I ever had before. Cain had opened up something inside of me, a door that I wasn't sure could be closed again. And even if it could, I wanted to keep it open.

I cleaned up then returned to bed. Eventually, my eyes closed, and I fell asleep thinking of Cain and what he was going to have me do next. Whatever he had planned, I was going to go along with it. He made me feel alive, and I wanted to do whatever I could to make him happy.
