Here it is! I can hardly describe how
thankful I am for all of the support I have gained along my
journey. Writing Troy was a life-changing event for me, and
completing Dylan is unbelievable. The many people who have taken a
chance on me, encouraged me, and kept me going mean more to me than
any words can do justice. I could never have done it alone, and
with that being said, I have quite a few people I need to
thank.

First, I want to thank my editor, Ashley
Williams. Without her I would be completely lost in a world of
words that don’t quite make sense. She is simply amazing, and I
know that her hard work is a huge motivator to me. What is a writer
without a good editor besides lost?

I’d also like to thank the ladies of my
street team, K.I.S.S! Their support is unreal! Never in a million
years did I expect to have such an amazing group of supporter like
them. They make sure everyone knows how talented they think I am,
and I can never thank them enough for that.

Lastly, I want to thank my husband, my
family, and my fans.

Having a husband who understands that this
is a dream I am serious about making a reality is a huge blessing.
He understands the days when laundry falls behind, I haven’t slept,
and coffee is on constant refill. He encourages me and lets me know
that he’ll support me no matter what. What more can a girl ask for?
He’s amazing.

The rest of my family has been just as
wonderful. They understand when I lose myself in the story and
don’t answer their calls right away. They don’t cast my stories
aside as just a silly dream, but encourage me to fulfill these
dreams.

The sense of fulfillment I get when I hear
how excited my fans are about reading my stories is indescribable.
I hope all of you continue to lose yourselves in imagination, and
never give up on your own dreams. You are all amazing and I
appreciate every single one of you.

I am truly blessed to have this amazing
blanket of support that surrounds me, and I can’t wait to see where
this journey takes me.

Thank you more than words can describe,

S. Kline

Chapter One

Dylan

“Dude,
watch it.” I snap and jump back as beer sloshes over the top
of this moron’s red, plastic cup, and splatters all over the front
of my shirt, quickly soaking through the thin material and
onto my chest.

“I-I’m s-s-sorry, D.” The frail man with
mousy hair stutters over his words, nervously flicking his eyes
back and forth between my shirt and his cup. I wonder for a second
if he actually thinks it is a possibility that I will shoot him for
being clumsy.

I ignore him, brush at my dark green
t-shirt, and continue on my way through the erratic mass of
grinding bodies. Everyone here is a guest of Fianna Fáil, and the
partygoers are more than enjoying all of the extravagant features
that Ardon included when designing his spare mansion for this very
purpose. Believe it or not, I try not to make a habit of shooting
our guests, even the clumsy ones.

I know if I walk out onto the deck, I'll see
women in tiny bikinis or nothing at all as they relax by the pool
or in the hot tub. Hell, there are usually naked women inside,
dancing drunkenly under the strobe lights. The thumping bass and
the smooth lyrics poring through the hidden speakers always seem to
make the girls want to strip down. Not, that I'm fucking
complaining. I grin to myself.

"Did you enjoy the fight?" The tiny blonde
who’s tagging along behind me asks.

She followed me here from the fights after
sucking me off in a backstage corridor when the fights ended. What
was her name? Mindy, or Mandy? Answering her question with nothing
more than a sharp nod of my head, I grip her hand in mine and push
through the sea of grinding bodies around us.

There are two bars on the ground floor, both
staffed with professional bartenders, and I could really use a
fucking drink. Releasing her hand, I walk over to the bar where
Kendra is working. As usual, her blonde hair has multi-color
strands woven through it and her lip piercing is gleaming under the
different color lights. Kendra is one hot fuck, and even though I
have my entertainment for the night, I still want to admire her
huge tits spilling over the top of her tiny blouse.

"What will it be, handsome?" Kendra leans
onto the bar as she speaks, and my eyes focus on the only thing I
am thinking about now.

I run my tongue over my lips, and admire the
soft, round globes of pale flesh. My mouth is actually watering.
Like, I'm about to sink my teeth into some kind of delicious
forbidden fruit. I'm about to respond to her question when I feel
two slim arms wrap around my waist in a possessive manner. I
lift my gaze from Kendra's tits to see her eyes light in frustrated
annoyance.

"I want to dance, D." Mindy/Mandy's sultry
voice speaks from behind me, as her musky scent fills my nose.

I wink at Kendra with a promising grin, grab
blondie’s hand, and move onto the dance floor. I pull her against
my chest, and my eyes catch on Troy and Kaci across the
room. Kaci is leaning back against Troy's chest, and he has
his arms wrapped protectively around her waist with his palms
resting on her massive baby belly.

Nine months ago no one, especially me,
thought we would see them like this again. Ardon killed Neason
Molony after his daughter, Callie, shot Troy in the chest. With the
head of their organization gone, the Molony crime family ceased to
exist. We sold the territory to Fuentes for twice what it was
worth.

Shaking away the bleak memories, I
focus my attention back on the woman in front of me. Her green
eyes are sparkling sexily under the flashing lights as she looks up
at me. The short skirt she is wearing is driving me crazy over her
long legs. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a bit clichéd. I have
a serious thing for leggy blondes, and this one is pressed so
tightly against me that I can feel every curve of her nicely framed
body. The lighting is playing erotically over her features,
making my dick stir to life. I grip her hips and squeeze her
tightly against me.

I have just lowered my lips to graze over
her ear when my gaze catches on a flash of dark hair across the
room. Okay, so maybe it isn’t the hair as much as the soft, full
lips and angelic face that’s hiding beneath it. I can’t stop the
images of that girl on her knees as she wraps those lips around my
cock as they flicker rapidly through my mind—not that I really want
to stop them.

I start to lift my head to get a better look
at her, but at the same moment, this giant ass dude stumbles into
my line of sight. He presses himself against her in

too
familiar manner, so I duck my head again and
tug a small earlobe into my mouth before dragging it between my
teeth. I’m not about to start a fight over a quick lay, and let’s
face it, I’m not really in the market for more than that.

I nibble down the long column of
Mandy/Mindy’s neck, and feel her hands fist tightly into my shirt.
I can’t hear what she is mumbling over the pounding bass of the
music, but I don’t particularly care. I lower one hand over her ass
and pull her even tighter against me. She hums in satisfaction, and
her body molds to mine. I chance a glance up again, and this time
my whole body stills. My adrenaline kicks in, and I find myself
releasing Mandy/Mindy and pushing my way through the crowd.

It would be a lie if I said watching this
tiny little girl land a solid punch on this douche bag didn’t turn
me on a little bit, but it also pissed me off. She shouldn’t have
to defend herself like that. I should have realized what was
happening the first time I looked over there. I should have stopped
this before anything happened to her.

By the time I reach them, the crowd around
them has shifted, and all the men around them are hooting about
badass bitches and giant pussies. As this brute of a man raises his
hand in the air to strike her back, I completely lose it. I step
between them, blocking the hit with a firm swing to the guy’s gut.
The crowd goes quiet with my intrusion as everyone waits to see
what my reaction will be. The guy lets out an agonized cry and
stumbles back. He reeks of booze, and his staggering gives away
just how drunk he is. Still, that’s no excuse for laying his hands
on a woman.
